| I'm so awesome they made a game out of me; AND a comic book! But that came later. | |

So apparently, there was a Scion arcade game made, back in the 80's. It was a shmup. There are only 4 known boards in existence. Posted ImagePosted Image It was made by a company named Seibu. It's unknown whether this was "sad Seibu", "silly Seibu", or "sweet Seibu"... but what is known is that a Seibu is "kinda like a cow". So this game was made by cow-like beings. We know that much. Watching it being played is kinda painful, but it seems to be regarded as a "gem". Then, there was the CrossGen comic book, which I found a TP of several years back while the HOH was still going. Naturally, I was intrigued. I'd be lying if I said the visuals didn't influence certain things in COTR. However, I've never read the damn thing. Posted Image Finally, there's the car. The tC is the only one I really care for, but hey, everyone knows about the Toyota Scion already. That's how awesome I am. How awesome are you? |

Wheelie is made of chocolate. It was something Ratchet sprayed him with, so that he could be eaten and destroyed. |

Huh, these guys apparently went on to make Raiden, interesting. Do you have any links to arcade footage of the gameplay? The MSX version doesn't look too bad, though. Looks like a fairly decent Xevious-inspired game. And I do like me some Xevious. |

I do not. A quick Google search turned up nothing.
At least it wasn't SF2CE Rainbow. |

Posted Image I've placed your Solar System under siege. Just try to send your MUSHA Team after me. "ONLY hope," my ass. But should I, the controlling Intellicomputer, somehow manage to be bested by the lone survivor of the MUSHA Team and fall in battle, I shall return someday, for I cannot die. Posted Image At least I think I will. ... Damn it, Compile, where's the fucking MUSHA Aleste sequel?! |

Darn, I don't really do emulation much anymore (and never really did arcade emu) so it'll probably be a while before I get to see the arcade version in action. My friend who I recommended it to who really likes Xevious did enjoy it, though. |

Being a huge Xevious fan, he enjoyed it quite a bit, but he found it really difficult. Apparently, a lot of the skill in the game is being able to safely pick up your bomb power-up (if you miss it, it doesn't come back, and you can accidentally shoot it, too), so you've got to try and let it loop safely until you get the right opportunity. |

That sounds like a pain in the ass. I'm pretty sure that aspect led to more than a few MSX controller-shaped dents in drywall. *L* |
