As you probably already know, the new Head of State elections will be going underway soon. So, as independents, we have to decide which of us will be running, seeing how only one of us can. Which of us do you think should run for Head of State? I'd be more than happy to run, considering I'm the obvious choice. |

You're the obvious choice? How do you figure that? But yes, I'm not putting myself forward this time around as currently my only Internet is on my iPhone which wouldn't bode well if I were to be the PM. So unless anyone has any other objections I am completely fine with you being the independent running in the election campaign. Obviously if anybody else comes forward I may change my decision, but for now, go for it. |

Haha! Dont worry, the 'obvious choice' thing was sarcasm. Im relatively new to the region, so chances are I wont get any votes anyways. Elections like this, after all, are just popularity contests in formal attire. So, perhaps someone like yourself who has a little more experience in this region may be better suited. Although, I suppose the internet access would be a problem. We'll wait and see what Cyristan has to say about the whole thing, I suppose. |

Well we do not want another Grant problem, like the one that occurred with Grant. He has no internet, not suggesting not to run only saying that we want that not to happen again, but what happens cannot be predicted. |

Exactly. I wouldn't feel right putting myself forward as a candidate knowing that due to my Internet problem I mightn't be on as much as I would like. As you say, we dont need another Grant situation to set us back. I agree with you that these can be popularity contests and nothing more, however I think if you were backed up by strong policies and statements it helps immensely. Don't worry about not getting elected just cos you're new, some like myself would choose policy over popularity. |

Since Vaaka Sinista-Verta has shown interest and neither Cyristan or Banrion have decided to run, we have an Independent running for the first time in our history?(ok its only the 2nd HoS vote but still) |
