Hello, this is the World of Matar! Where we tell grand tales, and also manage to fit in the odd complaint about what have you. But we love each other. Well most of us. Well, some of us. Well, one of us. Maybe.

Basically, here's how it goes down:

There's the General Discussion for anything, hence the "general". And the Introductions and Farewell section for, well, introductions and farewells.

There's TWoM RP with three sections, and a fourth one coming soon when the story demands it, for role playing, a Codex section for your questions, and some Guidelines.

There's the Fantasy Role Plays for all other original RPs (Role Plays), and not just fantasy but sci-fi and what not. Currently there is... nothing. Yeah. Kinda depressing.

There's the Fan Based RPs for when we want to RP either as people from games, books, or movies or base the RP off of said published work. Currently we have Final Fantasy I and I believe that Fate/Stay Night is getting started.

There's the Creative Writing with story time where residents can both write and read original stories from creepypastas to fanfictions to ramblings. And soon enough there may even be a Blog section there as well.

There's the Battle System section all on its own, this is a proto-system headed by Metal Neil and may one day be implimented into some RP. Or not. We're not sure about all that.

On the Nature of Corruption; Seriously, July 2014? Man that's bad. Let's fix that.

When last we left our happy bunch, a detached group had recently returned with a captured Corruption and a recruited ally. While the ally was interesting enough in her own Overlord way, the captive was a major victory.

It wasn't every day that you managed to get one of the Advanced Corruption, though truth be told, her level of resistance was... well let's not beat about the bush. It was pathetic.

Listening to the tale, Karna raises an eyebrow, which is remarkable for someone as stoic as him. '... So the Corruption was watching you?'

Being the completely, one hundred percent reliable narrator that he is, the Joker simply shrugs. 'Kids these days have no respect for the privacy of other people! Sadly I had to teach her a bit of a lesson but here's the result!'

With a chuckle, he kicks the unconscious Corruption forward.

Karna, rather than registering any distaste, looks to Atalanta, who does register distaste, with her hand almost going to her bow.

'... Take her to the doctor.'

Atalanta frowns and tries to scrutinize some kind of motive. 'Take her to...'

'Know thy enemy.' He says, without elaborating. The Joker gives an exaggerated sigh. 'Not what I'd do Karny, why not just...'

Say what you want for his leadership style, but one glare from Karna, and what feels like a momentary flare of his power shuts the Joker up. Enhanced he might be now, but Karna is still invincible. One gets the feeling that Karna will put up with a lot, but when he gives a command, it's probably best to follow it.

------

With that in mind, Atalanta finds herself outside Dr. Eggman's laboratory, with an unconscious corruption on her shoulder. And what stymies further progress is some kind of electronic device that bars access to the compound. She looks at it in some confusion.

'Mayhap it best to simply clear the way with the Hide of the Boar...'

Can you feel it, Mr. Krabs?

The security pannel is rather complex.

Layout are six hexagonal shaped panels. Each has a single letter, which all, when chained together coherently, forms the password into his laboratory.

'G M N E A G'

A trifling security measure to be sure.

One might imagine this tricky, treacherous tribulation would be trying to the thoughtful troubadour in some alternate reality where up is down, left is banana. However, there is actually one stumbling block that prevents Atalanta from immediately cracking this cruel and calamitous conundrum.

Her finger traces over the letters... which are of an entirely different alphabet from the one she's familiar with. Alpha, Epsilon, Mu and Nu are recognizable...

'What's this other symbol...?' she wonders, looking at the two strange symbols. They look like small sigmas, but that's madness. Why would the others be capitals and these two be small letters?

She starts randomly hitting panels, in the hopes that one of these random combinations will somehow magically result in access.
