Meldan sorcer entered the forest for the the first time after gaining a quest. They needed a lot of lumber, and he badly needed at least some new equipments. While the pay was only decent, it was still a very good idea to do it so he could pay for more food and establish a stronger base of operations in these communities. This was especially useful in getting enough wealth to afford quality supplies and equipments, though he had the basics. Venturing into the forest, he found a good tree to begin cutting down. Equipping the timber axe, he began harvesting from the largest tree he could find, and began the process of cutting the massive tree down slowly but steadily. It would take a very long time to finish cutting the tree down, and breaking it into pieces, but the amount of lumber it would provide would be more than enough to establish his own business to say the least. {{Bump 1/2}} As meldan sorcer cut down the trees, he thought about developing new products. In particular, bows, arrows, spears, daggers, and swords. The first few would be easy, but daggers and swords needed metals, and there was no presently known areas to find such resources. It was all leather and timer based assetts mainly, with little in other resources to develop themselves. Further, it was likely the lands would be extremely dangerous, full of powerful monsters in them. A grim but doable fate. Sorcer was happy. He was helping a community to finally develop itself, and knew his efforts would be rewarded with some well-needed crescents he could utilize for more supplies. Progress on the tree, however, proved much more problematic than expected, however, and he was already complaining about his back and how expensive it was stamina wise. It was obvious he needed more stam and harvest levels if he wanted to do better, but at least he was making some progress. |

Meldan continued chopping down the tree he had chosen casually. While it was a very good pine tree, it was times like these he wish he had a better tree cutter. But the simple axe was enough to get by for now. While cutting, however, he began thinking of new products, especially weapons. Imagining a bow, he began thinking how to design and make such a simple product, focussing on implementing a good version of shortbows, along with arrows. Then he took a break for a little while, ate one of his rations, and continued working on the tree. Thats when meldan heard howling. Wolves were approaching from nearby. He had to leave soon, and it showed. However, as he fled, a new skill was learned by him, one that would prove very useful. New Skill: Asessment - Allows meldan to analyze the composition and details of things. |
