The all powerful Djinn stepped back slightly inclining his head in a nod grinning as his grey eyes shone with something un readable “you’ll do carry on …” he said softly if gruffly walking to the fridge he took out a carton of Chinese take out but not knowing where the silverware in the house was and being unable to grant his own material desires he looked frantically at the others in the room “ quick some one wish for a fork… I’m not kidding here oh this is so beneath me… “ he muttered and began eating greedily it was beef lo mein and it was very good. Looking up from his lo mein at the word appocalypse he simply shrugged his shoulders and returned to eating it was when Mikeal next spoke they had a serious problem "I'm here to take back what's mine. With or without the approval of the hierarchy " setting the carton down on the counter top with half of its contents gone he strode over to Krow's side standing almost possessively but in his mind protectively in front of her " these oracles how do we spot them? " turning to Snow and Krow he asked " who is the guardian of secrets what is this hierarchy of which he speaks?" he asked keeping his tone level while inside he broke a little *surly she wants the pretty boy over a failed commander look at you a clumsy giant a slave to all whom you meet your wife prefered death to you and your arrogence* his thoughts ruthlessly turned dark upon him breathing heavilly he sat in one of the kitchen chairs " forgive me I...don't seem to have recuperated fully just yet" he stated laughing a little trying to block out pain that was both physical and mental. |

Mikeal glared. "Their jewelry. There's a bracelet, necklace, and an anklet. Each one is silver, with a single name inscribed on them. Also, they'll be confused, beautiful beyond compare, and usually they have voices and movements that are so wonderful, so ethereal, that you cannot doubt that they are un-human." He looked over to Krow. "Oh, and by the way Amir, silverware is beside the fridge, top left hand drawer, where it has always been." He watched the man before him fall down in one of the chairs. "Well, if your to be weak, I see no probable use for you." Krow lightly thumped Mikeal on the back of the head. She walked over to Amir and crouched down. "You shouldn't be stressing yourself. Your wounds were pretty bad." Looking to Mikeal, she pleaded with him with her eyes. "You have healing abilities..." He shook his head. "So? Why waste my energy on what he'll get over in a day or two?" Snow huffed, looking away. "You may not remember Krow, but I was originally a healer. You know, when I was with Alexander?" Krow looked over. "Before the freezeout?" Snow nodded, and caught Mikeal staring. "I could even bet, I'm better than pretty boy over here." Krow grinned, and stood up. She backed away to let Snow at Amir. She closed her eyes, and let her hands rest upon his heart. Pouring her power into him, she mentaly searched for any rips, tears, burns, infection. Basically, she searched for any ailment. When she found it, she sent her energy to rapidly heal it, refresh the muscles and tissues around it, and moved on. Backing up about ten minutes later, Snow's eyes had sarkened, her skin was less cold, and she smiled. no bruises, no cuts, nothing was left. "How do you feel?" she asked, her voice different slightly. She hadn't healed since before her water abilities had frozen... Krow bent down again, her hands drifting over Amir's form, checking for anything Snow had forgotten. She went to his ear. "I'm glad you survived. Next time, please don't do that." Mikeal stared, black rage curling up in his stomach as jelousy. Snow had healed him, and now Krow was fauning over him. He sighed. Oh well, he was basically mortal. He'd die long before Mikeal did. |

At Mikeal's discription of those they faced his first thought was * our enemies are stoned hippies?* reaching once again toward the carton he heard the pretty boy say "Oh, and by the way Amir, silverware is beside the fridge, top left hand drawer, where it has always been." a reply of gratitude was just upon the Djinn's lips when ..."Well, if your to be weak, I see no probable use for you." at this he scowled hard growling "infidel dog ..." he muttered his grey eyes flashing it was then he picked up the concern in Krow's voice "You shouldn't be stressing yourself. Your wounds were pretty bad." " I'm fine...I" he tried to protest but when he saw her grin he melted. As Snow moved toward him Amir unconsciously tensed as she had lain her hands upon his heart he had expected a bitter cold to over take his body as it had when she had been wroth with him but instead it felt like a combination of chewing mint leaves and drinking the very coolest and purest spring water he felt his breathing slow and return to normal when she went away Amir's body felt better then it had in centuries looking at her he noticed her skin was warmer but his mind was still troubled it was then Krow came to him and whispering in his ear said "I'm glad you survived. Next time, please don't do that." when Krow checked for what little damage was left he luxuriated in it a soft smile on his face and bliss in his grey eyes all the while. |

Krow smiled, backing up. It was then she felt arms encircle her waist. She turned her head and laughed slightly as Mikeal's lips traced a heated line across her neck. "Stop it," she giggled, turning and pushing him away. He froze. Krow stared. "What's wrong? He lowered his head and whispered into her ear. Krow gasped, looking to Snow. Through the bond they shared, she explained to her what happened. All three people were quiet. "Amir?" Krow asked, breaking the silence. "I-I'm sorry. I need you to go find a safe place to stay. We are about to have a very....important guest. I don't want you hurt. You mind going up stairs?" Ten minutes later, a timid knock sounded on the door. Mikeal stepped over in order to open it. In walked a young girl, looking about 20 or so years old. Her brunette hair fell down to her waist. Steely Grey eyes looked around. "I was told to come here..." she said, unconsciously fiddling with a bracelet on her left arm. Krow stepped forward, smiling warmly. "Here, let me make you comfortable...what's your name?" "My name's Gaia." she said, looking at the three people. "I'm Serene Nightwing, but you can call me Krow. This is Syrin White, but call her Snow. And he's Mikeal Myrn. Go ahead and call him Mikeal." Krow said, taking the woman's head. "Do you have any questions?" "Yea. Why was I asked here?" Mikeal stepped forward, giving a heartmelting smile. "I can answer that. Your...I was asked to make sure you'd be safe. No need for any more questions. Just go ahead and head upstairs...." Gaia walked up the stair case, looking around herself, confused. Her hands rested on her twin pistols at her sides. Stopping at the top, she shifted slightly, making the fabric of her black skirt rustle. She walked down the hallway, coming upon a slightly open door. Stepping inside, she surveyed her surroundings. A slight noise caught her attention. Looking up, she smiled. "Hello? Who are you?" she asked, her voice light, husky, the meaning of seduction itself. It's not that she ment to sound that way....she was born with it. Crossing her arms over her red long sleeved shirt, she tilted her head a bit. (Hello Earth Oracle!) |

“no of course not habbibi “ he replied softly as he did as she asked shooting a glare at Mikeal as he went finding a room in the corner Amir decided it would do nicely * I wonder what these oracles are like?* he thought as he waited manifesting his scimitar in his right hand. The Djinn found it very hard to hide as he was too tall to fit into most places comfortably moving around excitedly his clothing rustled a bit turning quickly he was ready to fight until he heard her voice so soothing it reminded him of better days when he would sit on his mother’s lap she was not his usual type her skin was to pale and her hair a strange color resembling the earth deftly he sheathed the blade. He gave a disarming slightly sheepish smile as well as a bow “I am called Amir” he stated simply as his voice seemed to fill the room he folded his arms behind his back scuffing his bare foot on the planks of the wooden floor as a slight blush stained his caramel skin into a sort of burnt sienna hue. His grey eyes were cast to the floor his inky mane curtained his face for some reason he could not fathom he did not want her to see him as commander or king of anything he wanted her to think of him as someone would a friend and maybe more… * Krow, Solome* the names whispered through his thoughts but he couldn’t remember why they were so important his body tensed and his eyes locked on to the guns at her hips subconsciously trying to alert him to the danger but his heart told him she was safe the way mother was… “ can you cook? I can make tea ” he stated as he slowly walked forward to embrace her in a soft hug “luckily I happen to have some with me” he said as he lead her over to the space where he had set up a little hot pad and a tea kettle as they sat he looked into her luminescent grey eyes which seemed to reflect his own while he waited for the three down stairs to give the all clear although he figured if the Earth oracle came anywhere near him he would have no trouble dispatching it himself when the time came. |

Krow heard the noise up stairs and winced. "She walked into the wrong room..." she muttered. Mikeal grinned. Snow silently walked up the stairs in order to watch the two...Mikeal and Krow soon following. Gaia smiled again, nodding her head. "Well, I am called Gaia, and I'm told it's greek for something, " she quietly giggled as he turned red. He seemed pretty cute. When his gaze drifted to her guns, she winced and pulled them off, gently laying them near the door. "Can you cook?" At the question, her gaze was drawn up. Could she cook? She had no idea. "Um...I'm not sure..." she murmured quietly, then blushed as she was embraced. "O-ok..." she said, her stutter making her cheeks tint pink. When she sat down, her eyes were downcast. She waited until the tea was made, then gently reached out and grasped the tea kettle, as if naturally inclined to do so. Her movements with pouring the liquid were so natural, that it seemed to reflect the grace of a geisha. Pouring Amir a glass, she set the pot down and took a sip of her glass. "This is delicious," she said, looking up at him with a generous smile. Her silvery eyes glimmered as she looked him up and down. "I must say, of the people I have seen in this town, you seem slightly out of place. Different some how. Where are you originally from?" Mikeal stepped in the room after a little bit, smiling at the young girl, making her blush again. After having her walk out, her turned to Amir. "Leave my charge alone. We don't need you causing her any pain. Who knows what would happen? She doesn't need some foreign king flirting with her. The oracle needs to have seclusion until we find Flayre." |

Amir self consciously rubbed the back of his neck “ you really like it? well you see I blend the herbs myself and I have this garden…” *she doesn’t need to know the gardens halfway around the world or that you can grant wishes…don’t blow it fool* he thought to himself as he took a breath to continue. “ you see you actually get more from directly brewing a tea with the actual herbs intact simply putting them in water and boiling after a good grounding he gestured toward the limestone mortar and pestle sitting in the corner pulling a teabag from thin air he showed it to her “these actually hold back the true potential of good tea because they only let out it’s true essence little by little and by that time the end result is so diluted that it is almost not worth the effort” doing a small slight of hand for her amusement he made the teabag vanish with a soft smile upon his lips. “ your name is greek for earth”… *earth oh crap* his mind panicked but his body remained at peace she was just so soothing… and then she asked him “I must say, of the people I have seen in this town, you seem slightly out of place. Different some how. Where are you originally from?" his grey eyes looked down slightly “I’m from the middle east but… my job was not anything important I I…groomed cows!! And fed stray camels” he finished weakly having panicked wanting to impress her and yet not give her any knowledge of his station. “and here I own a simple tea shop that does alright…” he said as Mikeal came in and made her leave the room he stood apart of him was resentful another part was grateful his head felt muzzy like he was waking up as the real world returned gradually his grey eyes were confused at the man’s words he finally stated a bit strained “oh Allah I shall most certainly try” he said as he re took his seat this was going to be far harder then he had previously thought… |

Gaia sat on the couch, looking at the three people in front of her. "What is wrong? Have I offended you in some way, or abused your hospitality?" Krow jerked her thoughts to the present, and inwardly winced. "No, It's just that there's some things going on. Do you know who we are, for real?" "Yes. Krow, you are the tainted angel. Mikeal, you are the Siren of the sky, and Snow, you are the cold one." Gaia replied, smiling. All three stared. Mikeal was the first to reply. "A-and how would you know this?" That made the girl pale. Sinking lower, she looked away. "I don't know. It's as if someone inside of me told me that...I know how strange that sounds, but you must believe that that's the only explanation for what I just said." Snow smiled, her eyes winking slightly. "We do. Gaia, you are very special. Just remember though, you are always welcome here. Nothing you do will ever make us hate you." ~That's a lie. There are things I could do...terrible things.~ She unwillingly thought. Frowning, she shook her head. "A-alright." "Would you like some dinner?" Gaia nodded, and Snow stepped into the kitchen to start cooking. "Did you warn Amir?"Krow asked Mikeal. When he nodded, she looked up. "Alright. I'll go get him. He needs to get down here anyway. It's nearly midnight." Gaia jumped up. "I'll get him!" Dashing past Mikeal and Krow, she raced up the stairs before they could object. Both looked at each other with worry. Gaia knocked on Amir's door, and pressed her ear to the wood. Jumping back when it was opened, she smiled. "It's time for dinner. I was told to come and get you." ~Well.....~ she thought, blushing at her hasty run up the stairs. "We're having pizza!" Snow yelled, and the sound of a fire extinguisher was heard. Laughter flowed upwards. "What's pizza...?" Gaia wondered aloud, her face taking on a cute look of confusement. |

Amir had been busy between humming to himself as he made more tea and thinking of how best to avoid Gaia when he was around her he seemed to lose all sense of himself reveling only in her presence he loved Krow his feelings for her were true his resolve certain he did not like this lack of control he exhibited around the earth oracle* it was dangerous and most likely it would end him we’re he fool enough to let it and for her he probably was. * he thought shaking his head ruefully his grey eyes scowling at his own foolishness as he ran a hand through his midnight hued hair “ got to get t this excess energy out” he growled as he paced around the room finally dropping into a push up position he did not rest until a fine sheen of sweat had coated his body and then he stood and unsheathed the scimitar he began practicing lunges and parries thrusts ,slashes and hacks moving slowly he then increased in speed as he moved to the beat of the blood pumping within his veins. When the knock upon his door finally came it startled him so much that he grasped the blade intstead of the pommel and hilt of the sword cursing softly he still carried it with him as he ripped open the door to tell whom ever it was to "go the underworld and stay there" but when he saw Gaia his grey eyes softened and when she inquired into what a pizza was she had worn the most adorable expression of confusion he had ever seen so of course he had to tell her and indoing this completely forgot about his hand. |

Gaia watched in amusment for a while, until her stomach began to voice it's displeasure at being empty. Shaking her head slightly, she stepped farther into the room. "Amir?" Gaia asked, her voice quiet. "Amir, I believe that it is time to eat. Would you please come downstairs?" Shuttering her eyes slightly, she bowed to him as if on instinct. Turning to leave, she looked back at him with a smile gracing her lips. Her grey eyes seemed to glow in the darkness of the hallway. "Don't be to long. I want you to sit beside me." Krow sighed, her blue eyes annoyed. Why was it taking so long to get that girl downstairs? "Mikeal, please tell me, why is it that it can take two minutes to fly to Florida from here, but takes twenty minutes to go up the stairs, ask somebody to come down for dinner, then come back?" annoyed, Krow stood up, ready to go retrieve both Amir and Gaia herself, when the girl came gracefully down the stairs herself. "What took you so long?" Krow asked, her tone reminding her of her mother when she was upset. Gaia simply looked over. "He was exercising. I didn't want to interrupt." Krow shook her head. "Whatever. You need to come eat. I'll bet you're nearly starving." Not my best work I'll admit, but I'm currently typing on my iPod touch, so sue me, LOL. |

Amir’s eyes widened as Gaia had bowed to him he wanted to stop her to hold her a thousand denials to that one action were already upon his lips but she had fled before he could voice them. Leaving him with her wish that he should sit next to her he frowned his grey eyes narrowing as he practically marched down the stairs the blade still firmly in his grasp he knew that to let it go would mean a far worse bleeding then what was already felt. making his way into the kitchen he sat next to Gaia and at Krow’s left side “for give my tardiness everyone you may eat now…” he said looking at the faces around him as he waited for someone to serve him as his life’s blood dripped onto the kitchen floor while Gaia was here it didn’t seem to matter so much a soft smile was upon his lips and adoration for Gaia in his eyes which was rightfully krow's. |

Krow nodded, but the smell of blood drew her notice. "Amir, is something wrong?" she asked, looking down. Her gasp of terror was soon followed with Gaia standing. "Don't worry, I can take care of him." She grasped his hand, the good one, and then proceeded to lead him intothe kitchen. As soon as the heavy, dark oak door swung silently shut behind them, the girl stared at Amir, as if searching his soul for an answer just out of reach. "You don't like me very much, do you?" Not waiting or his answer, Gaia gently, oh so gently, brushed her hand down his arm until she was grasping the sword along with him. Bringing his clenched fist up to her lips, the girl smoothed out his palm. From there, she placed her lips on the gash. Placing a light kiss there, She opened her lips and let her tongue slipp free. "This won't hurt, I promise." she whispered. She let her tongue trace the seam of the cut once, twice, three times until she was sure it was clean. Then, her grey eyes flickered silver. Smiling, Gaia moved back slightly, then let her fingernails tap along his palm, around the cut. She bent her head over his hand and let out a warm breath of air. It spun around the gash, then sunk in, and Gaia stepped back. "Tada!" she said, smiling, relieved that this was something she was able to remember. "How does it feel?" she asked, then turned to leave without waiting for his answer. Stepping out into the dining room, she announced, " and he shall live to see tomorrow. No thanks needed, just doing my job." With that, she faked a smile and headed up the stairs in order to find herself a room and sleep away the feeling of being a charity case, of being a nuisance. "I thought you were hungry," Krow called out, worried. When Gaia only shook her head and proceeded up the stairs, she shrugged. "She must have retained that one ability, the ability to heal. I mean, isn't that what people he the earth as doing, healing?" she murmured, before standing up in order to put her plate in the sink. When she saw Amir, she stared for a little bit. "Having troubles? Maybe you need to go help out someone else. Gaia...seems to have picked you for her guard. Go to her. She's in her room I believe." With that said, Krow shrugged and left in order to tell her friends. Mikeal glared for a bit, and Snow laughed, but they all seemed to accept it. After your reply, let's start a topic for Gaia and Amir. How's that? |

“Nothing is wrong …everything’s fine just fine “ the Djinn said sluggishly as though fighting off sleep it was then that Gaia lead him into the kitchen he was in too much pain not to follow and he did so without thinking. When they were alone Gaia looked at him and it felt as though she had looked into his very soul "You don't like me very much, do you?" she finally stated He felt so exposed he did not like it *Ihate you!* the Djinn thought scathingly Amir shivered at her touch his grey eyes almost drugged in his bliss as she left him he growled walking into the kitchen. he noticed Krow “ habbibi…” he began to say but then she pre empted him by saying "Having troubles? Maybe you need to go help out someone else. Gaia...seems to have picked you for her guard. Go to her. She's in her room I believe." Amir’s un certainty shown in his grey eyes and then his rage replaced it when everyone laughed angrily he stalked up the stairs to her room intending to yell at her beat her and possibly run her through with his scimitar. Knocking on the door in a fashion that would be better interpreted as trying to break it down he narrowed his grey eyes threateningly his lips set in a sneer and then she opened the door and his facial features softened as he looked into her grey eyes a slow easy smile graced his lips as he raised her hand to his lips “ I am to be your guard it seems Gaia” he said softly backing up and saluting her he knelt holding out his sword hilt first to her “ my blade is yours as is my life” he said with the conviction of those whom had sworn to him their fealty almost two thousand years ago. |
