At long last, here's my profile for Milly. I hope it passes muster. Sorry for keeping you all waiting! Name: Milly Thompson Class: Nickname or alias: (if they have one): Stun-Gun Milly, Big Girl Age: 22 Gender: Female Race:Human Personality: Milly is a very optimistic, cheerful, friendly young woman. She is very easy-going and does not get angry easily, except for when people get in between her and her pudding or do not show what she sees as proper respect for family. Appearance: Milly Thompson is an extremely tall young woman of 6 feels high. She has long brown hair and her eyes a light bluish green; a few freckles are sprinkled over a small, pert nose. Her face is oval-shaped and pleasant and she is attractive in her own way. Milly usually wears a long brown duster with olive green cape, brown pants, suspenders, and a white work shirt with red tie when she is working out in the field. At the office she wears the standard Bernardelli women’s uniform, a white blouse and blue skirt. Strengths: Milly is very strong for a human and can lift many things that most human men cannot. She is very warm, kind and loyal, which helps her to earn other people’s trust. She has the strength of conviction in her beliefs, such as in the importance of family. Her simple nature also allows her to see situations clearly and she is not a very conflicted character. Weakness: Milly refuses to use live ammo and is very reluctant to use lethal force; this makes her very unlikely to defeat any major villains. She also can be spacey and not think her actions through. She also is somewhat reliant on Meryl or any other authority figure to tell her what to do on missions; if she doesn’t have direction, she can feel lost and helpless. Due to her lack of harsh experience, she can be naïve. Likes: Pudding, Wolfwood, Kuroneko, cats, her family and friends, pudding, playing chess, sweets and Ceylon tea, sleeping in late, and pudding. Dislikes: mean people, using lethal force, thunderstorms, people getting in the way of her pudding, cruelty, being hit on by men who aren’t Wolfwood, people who don’t respect the concept of family or otherwise act in an unfilial fashion. Weapons: A stung-gun, her fists (she has a mean right hook). Power or unique ability: Milly has exceptional empathy and emotional intelligence, and she is smarter than she first appears. She also has well-above average strength and can even lift a cross-punisher for a few minutes, though she lacks the stamina to carry them for long periods of time. Has a thorough knowledge of insurance policy and some legal knowledge, plus is very good at maintaining a house and cooking. Occupation: field agent and claims processor for the Bernardelli Insurance Company, Gunsmoke’s largest insurance company. Bounty: None. History: Growing up in a Federal reservation outside of May City, Milly had a happier past than most people on Gunsmoke. She comes from a large family of nine other brothers and sisters and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and was affectionately treated as the baby of her family. She lived on the reservation until she was 18, when she decided she’d like to have an adventure and seek her fortune in the ‘Outer’ parts of the planet. Going around from major city to major city, Milly applied for jobs and eventually got an entry-level clerk position at the main branch of the Bernardelli Insurance Company at May City. She rented an apartment there and now considers it her hometown. During her work at Bernardelli Milly became partnered with another new recruit, Meryl Stryfe. The two got on well together and became fast friends and a very effective team: Meryl balanced out Milly’s flights of fancy and kept her focused on the missions while Milly kept Meryl from becoming overstressed and helped her to focus on the bigger picture of their work instead of the mere details. After about four years of service, Bernardelli sent the two girls out on their biggest mission yet: to track down and monitor Vash the Stampede, the company’s biggest source of financial drain. By containing Vash, the company hoped to reduce its losses from the huge amounts of money it gave out to insurance holders who had their livelihoods inadvertently wrecked by Vash the Stampede’s misfortunes. As they began their mission, Milly and Meryl actually encountered Vash several times. Milly was soon convinced they had found their man, but it took Meryl longer to believe that the goofy man they kept on encountering was actually Vash the Stampede. The two had many adventures during this time, including the Ruth Loose, Inepril City, Nebraska Family, and Brilliant Dynamites Neon incidents. During a trip to May the three met up with Nicholas D. Wolfwood and Milly and Meryl watched the priest and Vash compete in the local Quick-Draw Contest. Milly quickly grew fond of Wolfwood and had an adventure of her own with him as they helped two young lovers, Julius and Moore, escape a slave caravan. Wolfwood split from the party soon after that and Milly has not seen him since. Currently, Milly and Meryl have lost track of Vash the Stampede after the Fifth Moon incident and they are looking for him still. However, due to a change of plans at Bernardelli, the team has been split up to cover more ground. Milly is now trying to fulfill her mission and get back into contact with Vash. She is more aware of the struggle between Knives and the EOM and the Knights, though she is still rather uninformed about the Gung-Ho Guns. Other: When she is out travelling, Milly always has a field agent kit provided by Bernardelli, which holds food and water rations. She is often accompanied by Kuroneko-sama. Milly is the best friend of fellow Bernardelli agent Meryl Stryfe and she considers both Vash and Wolfwood good friends as well. |
