Appearance
“A swordsman with impossible hair and piercing eyes.”
Physical Description: Therius is a rather short guy at only 173cm (5’ 8”), but despite his height he’s still quite strong with a lean, athletic build that is mostly muscle with little fat, weighing 77.8kg (171 lbs.). He has light, almost platinum blond hair, that’s about medium length, fine and straight, best described as refusing to obey the laws of physics, his hair usually spiked up. His eyes are a vivid blue with a small ring of green surrounding the pupil. A side effect of his magic means that at times his eyes literally glow with a blue light, though even when this does occur it would be impossible to notice unless you were very close and/or it was quite dark. He is quite handsome, most women (and some men) in general finding him quite attractive, even having hair and skin some women would kill to have. He has an even and pale complexion, but not unhealthily so. Except for his height and the glow of his eyes Therius is the splitting image of his father.

Clothing: When not in armour; on top Therius wears a dark blue ribbed vest with a high neck and a silver zipper down the front. A loose, long, black sleeve is attached on the left side, though the right side is completely sleeveless. On his hands he wears black leather gloves with pins on the cuffs that resemble a wolf with a ring in its mouth (see below in accessories for a picture). On his right arm he wears a black swede bracer that looks connected to his glove. He wears navy blue cargo pants with various short length straps attached. On his feet he wears black combat boots. If it’s too hot to wear his vest he will often instead wear a short-sleeved black t-shirt with his wolf symbol in aqua on the front top left.

Accessories: Therius has a left ear has a lobe piercing and in it wears a sterling silver stud that resembles a wolf with a ring in its mouth. This same symbol is a recurring motif for the armour he owns. He also ties a pink ribbon around his left upper arm but normally because of his sleeve this is covered. He normally has a scabbard of sorts on his back, the scabbard secured to his body with black fabric straps.

Personality
“Dark, quiet, and sombre on the surface, though caring, even human, if you can get to know him.”
Overall Therius is a somewhat sombre and dark person, however despite the feelings he may have, Therius remains steadfastly loyal and true to those he cares about and is always driven to protect them, even going as far as to hide his pain and emotions so he can’t worry them. To those he doesn’t know he tends to act reserved, or even acerbic, appearing quiet and composed, beneath his ‘stiff upper lip’ though he is a kind, compassionate and selfless person that could even be described as shy. Those that know him despite his best efforts can often read his emotions and thoughts with his eyes. He has a passion for exploring and often spends his free time wandering around Tyrus, taking the opportunity to help people he finds in need along the way.

Therius also has a lighter side, with a dry, ironic wit, willing to crack jokes about his allies sometimes. He also (as a result of a dare) has cross-dressed before, much to his embarrassment. He idolises Silufitri, the man responsible for part of his training and for Therius ultimately learning how to use his latent magic. He also has a healthy respect for the Tyrus Defence Force because of his father. Despite being an adventurer himself, with a few exceptions he doesn’t particularly like most adventurers, many being needlessly destructive. His hair and eyes are a constant source of conversation, his hair often leading to Therius having to awkwardly explain he doesn’t really do anything to his hair, it just sort of…happens. Therius suffers from moderate motion sickness which worsens if he’s a passenger instead of the driver.

Damage Per Round
This assumes that Therius spares a minor action at the start of the encounter to activate a Frozen Whetstone (which he can draw as a free action), using Booming Blade to attack a target with 26 AC (level +14). An enemy hit by Booming Blade while marked has the option of doing nothing (effectively stunned), attack Therius (drawing damage from White Lotus Riposte), move away from Therius (taking damage from Booming Blade), or attacking an ally (drawing his Aegis of Assault). The enemy is assumed to provoke White Lotus Riposte damage, the least damaging of the three possible sources of damage while still acting. Combat Advantage or Frost Vulnerability are not included, but possible because of Wintertouched and Lasting Frost.

DPR: 17.32
KPR: 0.1444

To Hit: +18 vs. AC
+6 Half Level, +5 Intelligence Modifier, +3 Proficiency Bonus, +3 Enhancement Bonus, +1 Feat Bonus
Normal Damage: 20.5 damage
1d10 [5.5], +5 Intelligence Modifier, +3 Enhancement Bonus, +3 Feat Bonus, +2 Item Bonus, +1 Dragonshard, +1 Whetstone
Critical Damage: 35.5 damage
1d10 [10], +5 Intelligence Modifier, +3 Enhancement Bonus, +3 Feat Bonus, +2 Item Bonus, +1 Dragonshard, +1 Whetstone, +3d6 [10.5](+3 Farbond Spellblade)

0.6 * 20.5 + 0.05 * 35.5 + 0.65 * 5

Encounter Nova
Nothing impressive here, Swordmages aren't made for damage. Make sure you've used a Frozen Whetstone, then use Armathor's Step for a bonus to your next attack roll, before using Four Corners Attack, targeting Will with the secondary attack. Use an action point and use Booming Blade, using Echoes of Sword magic if it misses. Use Heroic Effort on the first attack that misses, and apply Ruby Scabbard damage to the first attack that hits.

Damage: 66.03

Four Corners Attack: 0.9 * 22.5 + 0.05 * 37.5 + 0.95 * (0.88 * 20.5 + 0.05 * 35.5) = 39.39125
Booming Blade: 0.95 * (0.8448 * 25.5 + 0.05 * 40.5) + 0.05 * (0.8 * 20.5 + 0.05 * 35.5) = 23.29778
Echoes of Sword Magic: 0.10744 * [0.95 * (0.7948 * 25 + 0.05 * 43.5) + 0.05 * (0.75 * 20 + 0.05 * 38.5)] = 2.34101016
Ruby Scabbard: [1 - (0.05 * 0.15 * 0.2)] * 1 = 0.9985

Daily Nova
40.8429 damage
Move into position using Armathor's Step, then Attack using Vanishing Blade, then Action Point to use Booming Blade. Use Heroic Effort on the first attack that misses by 4 or less, and should Booming Blade still miss, use Echoes of Sword Magic as a free action to attack all targets in a close blast 3. Targets hit by Echoes of Sword Magic are marked by my aegis until the end of my next turn, and these marks do not interfere with my normal aegis.
