Nastic says he did not teach Twoslit, so until further research says otherwise, I think we'll keep Twoslit out of the tree unless specifically someone really feels they were mentored by them. Ananke said Twoslit got her in the game really, but Ballotonia and Crazygirl were her real "mentors".

Wop says Coco trained him and Spartz was trained on the same day as Coco, so Spartz must have also been trained by Coco.

Cocodian says Chin-Chillas mentored him, if he had to pick a specific name.

Sedgistan says he was self-taught. I've asked him if he gleaned off the Ananke guide in the FRA, but he hasn't responded.

Alright, so far by my count there are 5 houses with more than 2 members (note: this is the version where only one person can be listed as trainer, in the other version it is probably a few more.

House of Indian Gangs: 4 members, 3 generations - Indian Gangs (1), Kogvuron (2), Death Fenders (3), Kritatchy Kolumbes (3)
House of Chin-Chillas: 5 members, 3 generations - Chin-Chillas (1), Zaolat (2), Cocodian (2), Wopthruien (3), Spartzerium(3)
House of Frattastan: 4 members, 3 generations - Frattastan (1), ACKJVR (2), Belschaft (2), Milograd (3)
House of Harmoneia: 3 members, 2 generations - Harmoneia (1), Fools (2), Cromarty (2)
House of Ostendt: 24 members, 6 generations - Ostendt (1), Westwind (2), Riemstagrad (2), Whamabma (3), Adyndril (3), Unibot (4), Astarial (4), Sovreignry (5), Zark (5), Mewsland (5), Libraria and Ausitoria (5), Altaggannah (5), Zwangzug (5), Astrolinium (5), Saugeais (5), Nullarni (5), Astograth (5), Alyekra (5), Mahaj (5), The Kangaroo Republic (5), Novus Niciae (5), Hileville (5), Soviet Canuckistan (5), Veladio (6)

There are 9 other groups of two people and one other group of 1 (Taught by a raider).

(I believe that some of these house leaders are not self taught, this is just with current data)

Also, I am looking for who wrote the military guide in TUK. If anyone has that please PM me with it! Thanks!

Defender organization: UDL, formerly ABBL (belgian army), GLA and as a member of ABBL and Belgium i was also a member of the ALL.
Trained by:part self-trained, part learned from Ostendt and Ballotonia and others from the GLA.

I first noticed 'gameplay' in the summer of 2003, when i started looking beyond my region and encountered people who claimed that they played the game to capture other regions (most regions were still founderless around that time).
Things rang an alarm in Belgium that made us write a constitution with an election system and setting up a defensive army: the ABBL (Armée Belge/Belgisch Leger) As first belgian minister of defence i was the first 'boss' of it, but Ostendt was the 'founding father' and the most experienced defender of the ABBL.
He was also the first belgian member of the GLA.
later i became also a member of the GLA. it was not a Hierarchical organisation, but i learned a lot from the experienced people in there. Maybe most from Ballotonia.

i must say though, that since i joined UDL last year, i had to learn many new things. gameplay changed a lot since the early days... so i learned a lot from Ballotonia, Unibot, Eluvatar and others. but i also trained myself things like triggering and stuff...

Knowing the GLA was successful was what gave me the balls to push the UDL model (defenders not defender-regions in an organization) although Ballo always pointed out we're hierarchical whereas GLA was not.

Sounds like ABBL has just as much roots to the UDL as the GLA does though. :P

But Riem, how should Kog put you down on the list? It sounds to me like you learned a lot from Ostendt and Ballotonia, you might well put them down as your mentors? That would make you "second generation defender, half-descendant of the Houses of Ballotonia and Ostendt".
