Most famously known as the base and main residence of the Fantastic Four, the building was the hub of the Mainland Technology Development industries and housed a government sponsored think-tank. The building is currently undergoing intensive renovation, however the upper levels are still functional and accessible via roof access.

Housed in the historic Flatiron Building, the Daily Bugle has recently made the transition from syndicated newspaper giant to a web-oriented news network. Traditional papers are still available via subscription, but the new DB Magazine and website are the central driving force behind the renewed Bugle.

Public School 108, Midtown High School serves as the primary high school in New York's Queens borough. The recent spike in unusual events led to moderate media attention surrounding the school, particularly in light of the decision to allow mutants to attend under the condition that they declare themselves prior to admission.

An iconic Manhattan landmark, Stark Tower is the corporate headquarters of Stark International. Tony Stark's private penthouse residence and personal lab takes up the upper floors of the tower. The entire structure has been continually upgraded and reinforced to the point where even the events of Magneto's Ultimatum failed to do significant damage.

Trask Enterprises is a military technology research and development corporation second only to Stark International in terms of government contracts. Trask is most famously noted for sentinel design and is most directly responsible for the revisited Sentinel Initiative.

Built on a man-made island located off the coast of New York City, the modern fortress serves as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s HQ and primary base of operations for both the Ultimates and Avengers. The structure and the area around it can be seen as a fortified intelligence nerve-center, housing government research labs, military installations, and a secure meta-human holding facility.

Acres of land surrounding the Academy. Green sprawling lawn, decorative hedges and trees make up the front. In the back, there is an outdoor common area, pool, and basketball courts. Further out is a path into the wooded area behind the Academy leading down to the lake and boathouse.

Grand Hall and staircase make up the central portion of the level. The North Hall leads to the common living area (living room, rec center) and daily facilities (kitchen, dining room, etc). The West Wing consists primarily of classroom and a library. The East Wing houses the indoor Auditorium which serves as both a Lecture Hall and Ball Room as required.

Primary housing facilities. Student dormitories make up the West and East Wings for males and females respectively. The North Hall contains living quarters for faculty and affiliated guests. Central Hall is a recreational common.

Like its rival, Midtown High, Bayville High School has also had its share of media attention in the wake of a new awareness toward the mutant and super-human population. However, their fame stems from the bold declaration that they would not be screening student and would accept openly known mutants. This policy has led to a marked withdrawal of enrollment by some concerned parents and unverified sources estimate meta-humans may in fact be a majority within the school.
