Code: Too Fast. 1. Respect. It's a rule everyone sort of expects, so it's first on the list. This encompasses a lot of things, In and Out of Character. Respect the board. Remain civil and friendly towards members and staff. We're not here for a flame war, we're here to play and enjoy ourselves. Respect the game. Play true to your character, avoid god-modding and power-playing. 2. Timeline. Be aware of the timeline. I know most people are familiar with the mainstream continuity of Earth 616, we just happen to be a little different. I'd recommend getting your hands on some of the Ultimate comic titles, but the Wikipedia article works fine also. That's one of the appealing things about the Ultimate Universe, it's still relatively new, we've got a lot of free reign with the details. 3. Applications. It's funny, at this point, the hardest part about the application will probably be finding a suitable header image. It's short and simple. Just between you, me, and the rest of the Internet: I'm kinda sick of the complicated registration process. Show me you can play the character believably and we're square. 4. Denial. Unless we're not square. Because the application is so simple, I'd really appreciate it if you could nail the canon auditions. If you don't, I'll let you know and we can work it out. But I'm not looking to unleash a confused Captain America on the world, if it doesn't work out, it just doesn't. No hard feelings. Keep trying or give someone else a go. You'll also get denied if you don't have the code. That one at the top is a fake. Make something up. Anything. Oh, but don't copy someone else's. That's cheating too. 5. Stuff. It's all details now. There's no word count or anything, though you know, I'd recommend staying away from one-liners. "Fade to black" is probably your best option if a thread starts to get hot and heavy, but we're not here to stifle your creativity as far as violence and the like. Register with your codename if your character has one (proper capitalization too), it's just easier to keep track of. If you don't have one, go first and last name. No net handles, please.
