From the street across the Daily Bugle, you could see someone at the top of the building. That person was none other than Eddie Brock Jr. or as he's better known, Venom. The symbiote had let Eddie go back to his human form so that he could pass as a person. He looked on down at the streets, waiting for Parker to get off work. Brock would have to wait it seemed, he wasn't entirely sure when Parker got off work but he knew once he did, he'd get Peter up here, one way or another. He let out a loud yell, similar to one a man falling would make but he jumped back off the ledge. He tossed a shoe he'd stole from one of the many shoe stores in the New York. He could hear the screams as the shoe fell, letting out a devilish chuckle.

Parker would come running up to the roof, where Brock had a special suprise for him. The symbiote returned, once again forming the hulking figure of Venom. The black monster let out a loud roar, causing more screams down on the street as he could hear the sirens coming a distance away a few minutes later. Next came the bullhorn, asking was anyone up there. Of course Brock didn't do anything but he was hiding against the B of Bugle. When Parker comes up, Brock would be hidden due to it being near dark outside now.

"So, a large drink, medium fries, three double cheeseburgers, and my dignity?" Peter recanted sullenly. The evening rush had set in, delaying the end of his shift by at least two hours.

    "What?" the customer asked puzzled.

"Double floppy burgers, three of them," he repeated, jabbing the register haphazardly, "That's $17.31, your order is number 422," A heavy hand came down on his shoulder and Peter looked up to see the manager standing over him.

"That'll do, we're not exactly paying you overtime for this. Get yourself home, Parker," Peter narrowed his eyes, but his reliance on the paycheck kept his mouth shut while the Manager spoke, "Oh, you should probably avoid Fifth Avenue, I heard there's some nutcase up on the rooftops, cops'll be making a mess of traffic soon enough,"

The last bit of news was enough to stir Pete to motion. He mouthed a hollow thanks and shuffled out of the fast food joint hastily. Moments later Spider-Man cut through the air along Broadway, heading towards the intersection with Fifth. The lowest point of his swing had him barely clearing the yellow taxi cabins stalled in traffic. Just as the Manager had predicted, NYPD had quickly redirected rush hour commuters away from the Daily Bugle building, effectively narrowing down Peter's search for the troubled individual.

"But you have so much to live for," Spider-Man called dramatically as he touched down by the roof-access stairwell. He paused, listening for a moment and scanned the rooftop only to find it seemingly empty, "Um...Ollie ollie oxen free! ... Nothing?"

Venom perked his head up as he heard the unmistakable voice of none other than Peter Parker, better known as Spider Man. The black symbiote looked on from his hiding spot against the B, Parker's back was to him. All that could be seen of Venom was his eyes, teeth and the white spider on his chest. "Parker, so nice of you to join me." Came Venom's voice, sounding as deep and murderous as it always had. The black symbiote pealed back from the face, revealing Eddie's head. "Parker, I've been waiting for you." Came Brock's voice, him stepping forward and revealing his true size to Peter. Him being a literal giant, the size of the Hulk, nearly 9 foot tall.

Each step Brock took made a foot mark in the Bugle's roof, due to his greatly increased height, his weight had been increased as well. "How long has it been Peter? How's Mary Jane?" He asked, knowing that would cause Peter to get a little angry. It was a very sensitive subject to Peter. Thanks to Venom's newest mutations he'd been through along with consuming Carnage, he'd transformed into Ultimate Venom. The Venom symbiote had left Eddie's face uncovered so that he could talk with Parker, but that was only for a distraction. His plan was to attack Parker when he got distracted and since he'd changed into Ultimate Venom, Peter's spider sense would once again not pickup on Venom, no matter what.

It was obvious because otherwise Parker would have never landed on this roof, with his back turned to Venom anyway.

Eddie!? The recognition was like a gunshot in his mind, Peter wasn't about to forget Edward's voice... or the symbiote that had made life a living hell. Spider-Man spun on his heels and flipped backwards creating space between himself and Brock. Getting a chance to look at the creature in the fading daylight, Peter grimaced as he noted Venom's 'additional bulk'.

While the absence of a warning from his spider sense was a bad thing, Pete would take it any day over the havoc Venom's presence had wreaked on his skull in their first meeting, "I had a joke for this moment... But you're so ugly I forgot it --- Wait, that was it," Spider-Man crowed despite his surprise. It had been months since their last encounter; days afterward he had barely been able to sleep, dead sure Eddie was just waiting for a perfect time to strike. However as the days became weeks and weeks melted into months, the threat had taken a backseat to more pressing matters.

Now faced with the symbiote giant, Peter did his best to remain calm and act logically, "Eddie, you're still using the suit? That thing's dangerous!" It would be a bad idea to enrage Venom at this point, Spidey had firsthand knowledge of just what kind of destruction their clashes could muster. His words were bound to fall on deaf ears as well, if Brock had been using the suit the whole time symbiote and host were probably one in the same by this point, a complete integration into all vital systems..."What are you doing here?"

"Oh Parker, always the jokester. Look where it's gotten you in life, a dead end job, no girl, no happiness. Ooh, did I hit a nerve?" He asked, laughing a little, taking a step closer, leaving another deep imprint on the concrete roof. At the mention of the suit, Eddie sighed, letting out a chuckle. "Yes Parker, I'm still using the suit. We've become one now, we did that night those months ago when we absorbed Carnage and the parts of the suit from you." He said, swiping his head in a mock attack.

"You see Parker, we've become one, yes. I have full control of the suit now and in return, I feed it as it used to on its own. It's a symbiotic relationship we share." He said to Peter, thoroughly enjoying the look of shock of Parker's face. "Oh, I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd stop by, I knew you couldn't resist investigating once someone told you." He said, smiling a little.

"Peter, buddy, we both know why I'm here, don't we?" He asked, his face being covered back up by the symbiote, forming the full form of Venom once again. "Spider-Man, your in hell and I'm your welcoming party." Brock said though his voice had gone back to being Venom's deep and murderous voice again. By the time he'd finished, he was within arm length of Parker and as his massive hands came flying downward, he planned on killing Parker as quickly as he could. He'd let him off the hook far to long and it was time for Peter to accept the consequences.

"See, I was hoping you were going to say there was a villains convention going on downtown. Then I could swing down, do my hero thing, and we'd all go home happy. Well, mostly me," Spider-Man admitted defiantly. The time span between their last encounters was definitely showing in Venom's taunts, but considering his employment at Burger Frog there was still a certain sting to them, "Hey, for your information, I've got a totally ho---,"

The sentence was lost in midair, the myriad of thoughts the sudden reunion had unleashed had prevented Peter from noticing Venom creeping ever closer with each word. Without adequate warning, Spider-Man only barely avoided his opponent's flailing strike. He flipped backwards once more, instinctively releasing double lines of webbing to keep Eddie's feet on the ground. It wouldn't hold, but Peter wasn't expecting it to, all he needed was to keep Brock occupied.

Just a quickly has he had moved, Spider-Man employed another line of webbing, this time sticking to the large Daily Bugle letters behind Venom and using it to swing towards Venom aiming a strong momentum driven kick for his chest.

Eddie knew that Parker would move, just as he planned. When his feet got webbed he didn't even look down, keeping his eyes on Spider-Man. When he saw the webbing go by his head, he looked back to Peter to see him flying feet first towards him. Poor Peter. Venom grabbed ahold of Peter's feet but kept the momentum Parker had going and used it against him. He stretched his arm all the way without actually stretching out and slammed Parker down into the roof of the Bugle with thunderous force.

The force of the blow would've easily killed even a fit man but since Parker wasn't normal, it just hurt like hell to him. Brock let go once Peter was inbedded in the roof, so to speak due to it now having Spider-Man's outline in it. Venom's devilish voice came again. "What's the matter Parker? What happened to all that confidence you had just now?" Brock was in control now, it was obvious. If Venom had been, he would've just killed Parker with no second though but since it was Brock, he wanted to make sure Peter was hurt pretty bad before he put him out of his misery.

Eddie raised up his fists as high as he could without extending it before he slammed them down. If Parker didn't move in time, he'd break his legs and he'd have to endure the pain of the beating Eddie would give him.

Smooth. I think the last time you used this tactic the same thing happened, Peter's brain reprimanded him coldly once Venom had a hold of him. If the wind hadn't been knocked out of him in the very next second courtesy of a skeleton-jarring slam, Spidey probably would have agreed. Instead he settled for a painful groan, Okay, that... that officially, kinda, might have... sorta, hurt,

Focusing on the sensations within his extremities, Brock's words barely registered. What did register was the massive form of Venom getting ready to pound him into dust. Spider-Man clenched his hands tentatively, rising out of the indentation just enough to get an arm over his head. Thwip! Peter zipped himself out of the small crater on a webline.

He dragged himself across the rooftop unceremoniously, rolling into a crouch and skidding to a halt, "I take it we're past the point where we can talk about this?" Peter braced himself, webbing a loose block of concrete from the hole Venom had put him in, and swinging it like an Olympic hammer-throw trying to slam it into Eddie's side.

Eddie laughed a little. This was eerily similiar to the last time they fought each other, where Peter did the same thing and Eddie did as well. Poor Peter, using old tactics on an old foe wouldn't work anymore. Venom smiled as Parker zipped out the way in the knick of time. He had a knack for doing that. Venom would have to change that. "Parker, you pissing me off." Came Venom's voice. Eddie wanted to hurt him but this was getting on his nerves.

Edward did however notice the slab of concrete and launched himself straight up to avoid the hit in his side. He came back down with thunderous force, creating another crater that swallowed up the one he'd made via Spider-Man's body. "Peter Parker, time to play." Came Venom's voice again, beginning to get that insane sound in it. Brock was getting pissed off, which means Eddie's rage was feeding the suit and only making him stronger, albeit not much since he was already about maxed out, but a little. He'd had it. He dug both massive hands into the roof and with this form's new strength, ripped out a massive chunk of the ceiling, making a hole straight to the roof from the top floor.

Without warning, he reared back and hurled the giant multi-ton slab of concrete at Peter. Should he move out the way, it'd bust through the Bugle words and land on the street below, at the very least, hurting or killing a few civilians.

"And enters the relief catcher!"

Without warning, multiple thread of webbing would appear upon the slab, causing it to angle just enough to avoid hitting Peter as it would then be tossed off into the distance. Sadly though, Jessica wasn't sure if her throw would be strong enough to reach the water channel under the Brooklyn Bridge. She'd just have to pray that it did. For now, the costumed teen stood on the far side of both combatants. Looking at each of them, her gaze seemed more focused on Venom or rather, Eddie Brock.

She never meet him, but through Peter she knew of his tale. They had been friends at one time, and were now enemies due to mixed opinions. Spider-Woman was probably not needed for this, but if this battle continued up here, it would likely draw attention and that would be bad for everyone. Yet how exactly could she draw it anywhere, especially since it was likely that his target would remain to be Spider-Man? This wouldn't be the most easiest task ever, but she'd just have to wait and see what Peter had in mind.

"Is there a relief catcher in baseball? I kinda don't know for sure...."
