- Notes: Calling that an exit.
"Connections; look at you all out in a brave new world. They grow up so fast," Peter teased, the lighthearted exchange a stark departure from the looming thought of Venom running loose somewhere in the city. In fact, the conflict seemed distant and the adrenaline surge from the fight had long faded away. No doubt it was a sense of ease that wouldn't last, there was always the morning after to reclaim that sick feeling.
But talking to Jessica and hearing her plan, at least it reinforced the notion that she was one less thing to worry about. She knew what she was doing. At this point, it was more than he could say for himself, "Don't mention it," Peter shrugged, walking to the edge of the building and looking over the side. Traffic was starting to move again, I guess New York has a lot of experience with this kind of thing...
"Y'know, considering everything beneath my hair is sore, I think I'm gonna call it a night," he said looking back at Spider-Woman. It was true, but so was the notion that he needed to make sure everything was alright at home. If he had to, he could probably convince Aunt May to get out of town with Gwen, just long enough for Spider-Man to get to the bottom of the whole mess. He fired a webline into the night and stepped up onto the ledge, "Guess I'll see you at school. If we don't swing into each other sooner," Peter acknowledged before taking off with a swing.
Because you know where to find me...
