i get wat tyler is talking about. i stay think it was stupid smart of them to do the movie like that. it gave an ending to something that hasnt ended and alot of fans settled for it. ie... me -.-
i believe they made to movie so they didnt have to do fillers.
but i dont see a sequel being pulled out their ass.... considering the anime did go a different direction than the manga *hasnt read all the chapters* wats it gonna be about... al's and ed's trails and error to get back? *sigh*

The new Fullmetal Alchemist will commence on Japanese TV on April 2009.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlF4UHOB3Ts
he original 51 episodes, BONES produced anime adapted Hiromu Arakawa's shonen manga concerning a teen who lost an arm and legs and while brother's soul was bound to a hulking suit on armor during a failed attempt to resurrect their mother. Because the anime progressed faster than its source, an original story was invented for the later part of the series.

Whether the new anime will continue the first series, adapt the manga or again create something new is unclear.

So........April.

I've watched the first 6 episodes, and I'm liking it. I hope they tone down the comedy once they catch up to the point where the original anime diverged.

It'll slow down once they get to the stuff they didn't cover in the first anime.

I hope. :-/

'Tis where I watch it.
It loads slow sometimes, but I'm trying to watch all anime legally.
If that means I'll have to wait a couple more minutes for a video to load, or a couple of days for an episode to come out I'm fine with that.

Fullmetal Alchemist Not Streaming from Funimation.com

FMA is still on Hulu; Phantom is still on Funimation.com

The North American anime distributor Funimation is not currently streaming episodes of the 2009 Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime series on its website, even though it has been simulcasting episodes since it premiered in Japan and overseas last month. This series was one of the three television anime that Funimation was slated to stream this season within a week of the Japanese airings. Funimation has not announced if the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime's unavailabilty on its website is temporary or not. The series is still available on Hulu.

The other two anime that Funimation had planned to simulcast were One Piece and Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~. Funimation cancelled its simulcast of One Piece on Saturday (the same day it was to have started) and cited the leak of the latest episode before it aired in Japan. Phantom episodes are still available for streaming.

The only reason I could think of them stopping is the One Piece leak. It should be back soon after they fix the server shit and security shit.

Anyway, Pfft, it's still on Hulu.

Well, it's higher quality on Hulu, and it loads faster. BUT you do have those commercials.
