Underground Naruto: Rules & Guidelines ________________________________________________________ * New Member's! First off, welcome to Underground Naruto! If your reading this, chances are you have joined, and you probably want to start posting and joining fun social activities. Well, your more then welcome to, of course, but first, to make sure you are not breaking any rules here, please read on. Yes, we do have a number of rules, but they are fair and easy to follow, so you shouldn't have any problems learning about Underground Naruto. Well, carry on! If you have a question about the rules here at Underground Naruto, or need help, please ask a staff member. ________________________________________________________ Freedom of Speech. ________________________________________________________ Yes, this needed a section by itself. Freedom of speech is nice isn't it? Well, sorry, but you lose it to an certain extent. You see, we do not want certain types of discussion here, such as items related to hentai or roms for example. Therefore, your 'speech' is restricted. Yes, it is entirely fair. If we ever find a Member who says we are unable to stop thoughts on here, well, I suppose they didn't read the rule. Know we do this not to be unfair, but to protect you, the Member, from the dangers of what you discuss. It in within your best interest to know this, a prime concern on UN being Member safety. ________________________________________________________ Spamming: The types of it and the warnings following. ________________________________________________________ "To post irrelevant or inappropriate messages to one or more Usenet newsgroups, mailing lists, or other messaging system in deliberate or accidental violation of etiquette." That is the definition of spamming, save it in your UCP, do whatever it takes to remember this for it is the definition that will be used when moderating the forum. If a Member at anytime breaks a rule they may get warned or banned, depending on how serious it is. If you are just starting here, then commonly we will ignore the first rule you break, because you probably still learning the rules. However, do not expect such special treatment all the time. You can and will get warned if you continue to break rules, and perhaps even banned. So, we have three sections of rules concerning the whole process. The first being how warns or handed out, and how many is too many. The second one is how bannings are placed. The third explains how to improve your current status, and how to stay out of trouble. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * Warnings. Warnings are as they are; warnings a staff member gives you if you happen to break a rule. Warnings range from normal, to serious, and may vary. The setup is listed here: - First Warning. Normally, nothing truly happens. You are given a warning, but nothing else. This is your chance to improve yourself. These warnings are removed when we see you have learned your lesson. - Second Warning. Depending on the warning, you may be suspended for a few days, are or given a second chance. It depends on the rule you have broken. - Third Warning. You are suspended for a while, ranging from three days, to a whole month. This is serious, and should be avoided. - Fourth Warning. You. Are. Banned. Well, probably. If a staff member sees that you may improve, you MAY get one last chance. Otherwise, Underground Naruto will be forever lost to you. Contact a staff member through PM if you have a question. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * Bans. Bans . . . they result in you losing every right you have here, and are commonly unchangeable. There are ways to become banned . . . - Spamming Underground Naruto is not allowed and we will not tolerate it. Spamming our forum includes posting less then four words, the same topic in many areas of the forum, posting topics that should be posted in other areas of the forum, posting links or advertisements to another web site in order to promote it and/or its services, and posting worthless topics and post out side the spam forum. Anyone found breaking this rule will be be warned, and banned after so many times. - Flooding Underground Naruto with request is never allowed. Doing so will get you banned. Flooding a web server to prevent access threw Dos Attacks in illegal, this also includes posting the same topic or post a number of times in any or all sections of the site. Anyone found breaking this rule will be banned at once. - Flaming/Trolling other members not allowed and will not be tolerated. This is a forum, there will be disagreements and debates a times. However, please be respectful to others opinions and views. - Do not post, link or ask for porn or hentai. This forum has visitors who are of the age of 13. The goal of this Underground Naruto is to keep a clean and friendly place. There are many other forums you can go to that allows such discussions, so vist those. Anyone found breaking this rule will be banned at once. - Opening multiple account for the meaning of preventing being banned and/or for spamming/flooding and/or trolling is not allowed. This includes accounts with the same IP address and email.Now, having multiple users on one computer is allowed, however you must email, I, Cloud Forever, before to prevent getting both accounts banned. Breaking this rule will result in getting banned at once. - Double posting is not allowed. This means posting again after posting once in the same topic in a matter of right after the other or after many days. If you wish to add something to a discussion please using the edit button. This rule does NOT aplly to Moderators, Administrators or Staff. - Acting like A Moderator and/or Administrator is not allowed. We can handle things, please if you find someone breaking a rule just report it. No need to reply telling one to stop it. - Do not pester the Moderators and/or Administrators, we're trying out best to keep everyone at Underground Naruto happy. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. - Posting, linking to or discussing of illegal content is not allowed. This includes but not limited to Serial number, code cracks to break software, pirated software, illegal full episode downloads, illegal downloaded movies, IRC bots, proxy scripts, Anonymizers, Warez Sites, Hate sites, Link Farms, Gaming Roms, Bit Torrent′s downloads/links, Click Fraud (force banner/advertising voting, etc). Breaking this rule will result in a warning. - The use of proper grammar and spelling. No need to rush, this is not a instant message system, there is no need to totally miss spell everything you say or to even use internet slang words all the time. Use spell checkers. Please double check your spelling and grammar when posting so that we can understand what you are saying. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. - No one word post or "I Agree" post. This does not mean you can not post if you agree with someone. Always bring more to the discussion by either, I agree but I believe this. In most cases such as a word game or spam board this is alright, but in a real topics such posts can kill discussions. - Topic hijacking is not allowed. This an act of jumping in on a topic where you have no business jumping into. This mainly applies to request topics, for example: Someone starts a topics asking for a new graphic. Do not jump in and request one too in the same thread. Start your own topic. Breaking this rule will result in a getting a warn. ________________________________________________________ PM Advertising. ________________________________________________________ Sadly, this needed it's own section. PM Advertising is NOT allowed. If someone, no matter if its a staff member, mod or another admin, breaks this please report them to Cloud Forever. If you just want more traffic to your own/another site, their are easier ways of doing so . . . - Put a link to your site in your signature. It's as simple as that. - A banner/button/link trade. Simply offer a trade to Cloud Forever, and everything will be discussed in PM. We have every right to know your sites content beforehand. Other details will be discussed when the time comes. - Once reaching 25 posts, you may post a advertisement in the Underground Naruto Choice Spots section. Be sure to follow the rules placed there. ________________________________________________________ Avatar & Signature Guidelines. ________________________________________________________ Like so many boards you may visit these days you have something called a signature and a avatar. We also have them here, but we have a set of rules based on them. * Avatar Rule - Must be no bigger then 150x150 in size. - Must be no bigger then 200k in file size. - No hentai or porn images are allowed. - Follow the requesting rules in the GFX section. * Signature Rule - Signatures can not have more then 10 lines of text max. Each line can only have 550 characters. - Only 3 images are allowed. The max file size (KB) is 100K. - You can have one image no bigger then 500x200 - Only 3 links are allowed in signatures. They can not break our linking rules such as linking to illegal content, or porn/hentai at any given time. - No hentai or porn images are allowed. - Follow the requesting rules in the GFX section.
