well, the host didn't have accurate contact info for me so, they couldn't contact me to tell me they were going to move and needed to make sure we were still active, so i emailed them as instructed, im not sure when the forum will be back up, although if they still have the database it would be great as i haven't backed up the database since july ;-; sorry for the inconvienience, we can only hope the host saved all the files and the database, or else, we'll have to start over(although i have all the files on my computer, just not the same copy of vbulletin ;-; i accidently deleted the 3.6.4, i have 3.6.7 and am 'secretly' planning to update to it when we get paid hosting :D) well, ttyal :3!

I've just got word from cloud about an hour ago, the forum link will be released tomorrow....in this topic so....check back tomorrow.....a few details i must point out right now.

Search: It's receiving a database error after a search is queried so, i will try to work this out

Skins: There are 6 skins to choose from, however, the first two are the ones that have the banners created by clint and SAW, and have the template edits for the arcade and vbplaza, also the last two the template chooser does not work....i will try and fix those during the time the forum is active.

I'll be quick. UNV is about to be opening. However, a banner is needed. Of course, we have sources to get one, but I thought quickly...what if we make it a contest for Members?

Well, we are doing just that. We need a fantastic banner for UNV. The specs:

Type: Banner.
Size: Normal Banner Size for VB.
Color: Your choice.
Characters: From Naruto, but your choice.

Notice the specs are not very detailed? Well, they should be. We are launching this contest in style, so you get to choose what will be on the banner. The only thing we want is a FANTASTIC banner that is perfect for a grand opening. A fun and well made graphic...

For the next three days if you wish to enter post your banner here made for UNV. During the third day we will choose a banner and open UNV(100% chance) with it. But...what will the winner earn?

100 'Points'

Points? This is money from UNV. 100 Points is a lot of money indeed by UNV standards and will fill you for sometime, considering money is much harder to earn now. If that is not enough the winner will be given the choice to become our newly made Graphic mod group, with paycheck weekly and all.

Well, the contest will start tomorrow, but you may enter now if you wish to. Good luck and remember UNV will open on the third day, 100% chance.

Did you know you could do that? Yeah you can. I am retiring as an administrator and I am becoming an inactive UN member. This hasn't been a recent thought of mine, I've been thinking about leaving UN for some months now and with the new forum coming I though this would be the perfect transition to pick as my parting.

Changes I have made before I de-admined: I only have member status, I cannot even mod and Son-kun's Special Spamtastic Spam! is gone (recent topics were transfered into Naruto's Apartment while older ones are in the Trash Heap).

I hope the new forum will continue to do well as it always has and that its members will always have the wonderful fun that has started from day one. I wish you guys good luck.

What I will miss most about UN is its members. So I know I can't completely leave... =P I love you guys too much. (Awww.....)

As you may have already heard of, Underground Naruto is to soon go under a fantastic and major change within a few weeks. The change as we call it will take full advantage of what Underground Naruto was meant to be, before being struck with the limitations that is Invisionfree last year.

But, what is this change? Well, if you are so curious as to know...Underground Naruto, within three weeks, will transfer over to a vBulletin® board, one of the best hosts for a forum online and choice for sites that are planning to become big.

Because of this, we must answer some questions, which I will do my best to do so. Let's go over the basic...

Post Count. No, no user will keep their post count. We are making a fresh start. No exceptions to this will be made.

Member Group. Most Staff will be keep their current spots. The only few who must reapply will be those who are either RPG Managers or GFX Managers.

The Forum Structure. Improved. Categories will be made better and will add more to the forum, as well as descriptions. Less space will be used, but with far more content. Expect far more from this.

The Rules. A few changes. For the must part, the same, except you are able to post less than four words. In fact, you can post simply one word! Provided, of course, it keeps the conversation forward. For example, saying 'Yes' to a question will be accepted as it keeps everything going, as it is an answer. Saying 'I agree' will not.

The Banner, The Skin, The Graphics. Changes galore. A new banner will take place, better than the current one. The skin is dark blue, but far better than the one you see and you will have the options to changes skins for yourself, using many templates that vary through color and lightness. Other graphics will be far better as well.

The Arcade, The Chatroom. The arcade will be far better. No longer will;l games have errors, but they should be up and running 99% of the time! Many more games will be present and the arcade will be able to make tournaments in all modes you could imagine! The chatroom is planned to integrate with the forum, so you will not need to register, you will be safe, and it will look and act far better!

Contests. Yes, contests will stay, more will be added, and it will all run far more smoothly. The newsletter will also take hold there. The calendar will still chart events, but will be used better and more widely.

Security. Better. Now, you are restricted from overwhelming limitations and the forum will not let you do so. Passwords will also have to be changed automatically every certain amount of days, meaning more safety. Word filters will be improved. Everything will. Bots will also be no problem. I'm assuming safety will improve by 50% at the very least.

New Features. Wide Reputation system will let you discover new reputation levels, all the while we assure it is not abused. Twenty-three titles instead of the sixteen here. Automatic shop, better money system, Lottery, and Gifts as well. All of it safe and expansive.

But...what of Underground Naruto here? This is the place that started it all...the place that did so much. We went through many attacks but made it through. It has grown and taken hold while 'enemies' have died out. No, this place will not die...which is why I'm thinking of passing it on to whoever wants it, someone who is eager to take my place in Invisionfree, considering I am leaving it(don't worry, I will still moderate Invisionfree sites).

Well, this information is hardly the most of it, just a taste. We have no screen shots and links either, so don't get your hopes up for that. Like I said, this will launch at the middle or end of June. I hope you find this information useful for now. More to come latter.
