Cartridges vs. CDs, Which is Better?

Which is better, the cartridge or the CD? In my opinion I'd have to stick with the cartridge. Although you can fit tons more stuff on a CD, they are much more durable, easier to unlock region blocks, easy to clean, you don't need a memory card (besides N64), and who can forget the wonders of the Game Genie.

I have to stick to CDs. CDs can be ruined easy, but taking good care of them helps.

Cartridges are classic, with classic games, but they have a battery inside of them.
When it goes, you can no longer save.

Yes, you can buy a new one, but thats too much trouble getting it in and everything. ^_^

This is a surprise. I had forgotten all about this topic . . . Well, anyway, I stand by what I said. More game space really is a plus . . .

Yes but I think game space is relative...o.o; In the advancement of technologies look at how they've managed to fit SNES game onto GBA cartridges. I think that it also depends on what you use the space for. CDs are better for modern games yes. But I it would be cool to make some retro 'enhanced' SNES games. Although I think that's just another idea I'll have to trash...=\

A good idea, but Nintendo decided on VGC, which is pretty much a rom.
