Retired Admin Posts: 1,408 Group: Mangekyo Member Member #7 Joined: May 20, 2006	Which is better, the cartridge or the CD? In my opinion I'd have to stick with the cartridge. Although you can fit tons more stuff on a CD, they are much more durable, easier to unlock region blocks, easy to clean, you don't need a memory card (besides N64), and who can forget the wonders of the Game Genie.

Cartridges are classic, with classic games, but they have a battery inside of them. When it goes, you can no longer save. Yes, you can buy a new one, but thats too much trouble getting it in and everything.

I think that it also depends on what you use the space for. CDs are better for modern games yes. But I it would be cool to make some retro 'enhanced' SNES games. Although I think that's just another idea I'll have to trash...=\
