 It's a anime based on a very popular manga that's out in Japan right now. The manga has been translated to english, and Viz is bringing the anime out here dubbed soon It's basically about this guy named Light, who has this death god's notebook, and whoevers name he writes in it, dies. He also writes how the person dies, what time, etc. and it happens. Light decides to create a perfect world by killing all the criminals one by one, but later he gets corrupted and just kills anyone who stands in his way. This isn't one of those 'fighting' animes, but its very suspenseful, and also has of the best animation I've seen in an anime. For those who havn't seen an episode, i recommend u try it out |

Man, that sounds fantastic right there. I'm going to check it out right now. But...wow, I like that idea for a story. Sure hope it doesn't disappoint. |

The ending felt kinda empty, I heard they were creating an add on towards Death Note, just something to wrap things up. |

what do u mean add-on? most of the things that happened in the end of the anime happened in the manga, except i know that in the manga, light was begging ryuk to not write his name down. so at least he died with more dignity in the anime and besides this isnt REALLY the last episode. there will be a summer special later on which covers the last chapter in the manga |

Yeah thats what I had intended to mean. Hehe...I guess in the anime they didnt make Light die by begging Ryuuk..But then again, he looked insane in the last bit. Most bloodshed in this episode. |
