I'll be quick. UNV is about to be opening. However, a banner is needed. Of course, we have sources to get one, but I thought quickly...what if we make it a contest for Members? Well, we are doing just that. We need a fantastic banner for UNV. The specs: Type: Banner. Size: Normal Banner Size for VB. Color: Your choice. Characters: From Naruto, but your choice. Notice the specs are not very detailed? Well, they should be. We are launching this contest in style, so you get to choose what will be on the banner. The only thing we want is a FANTASTIC banner that is perfect for a grand opening. A fun and well made graphic... For the next three days if you wish to enter post your banner here made for UNV. During the third day we will choose a banner and open UNV(100% chance) with it. But...what will the winner earn? 100 'Points' Points? This is money from UNV. 100 Points is a lot of money indeed by UNV standards and will fill you for sometime, considering money is much harder to earn now. If that is not enough the winner will be given the choice to become our newly made Graphic mod group, with paycheck weekly and all. Well, the contest will start tomorrow, but you may enter now if you wish to. Good luck and remember UNV will open on the third day, 100% chance. |

Yeah clint is right it would look a lot better if the skin colour is known so we can match the banner with it. Plus how big is the banner area since I am not on any VB forums so I don't know what the standard size is. |

The color of the skin...well, on UNV we have a skin selector, which in the end will have many choices to choose from, different colors. But...our 'original' template, when it is chosen, will either be dark, such as black or dark blue, or light with white and another color such as red or perhaps blue. As long as it works with black or light colors then it will work; in fact, it may help choose what skin we will use as 'original'. Therefore, make the better choice between very dark, to very light. The size would be something like...600 X 150 should work well enough. If you see it fit to twist the size around a bit, its no problem. |

I like that. Fantastic and nice on the eyes. You certainly have a knack for graphics; one of the best GFXers I have ever seen. Ah, sorry for just coming on. A thunderstorm has just recently passed and I'm not too curious to chance getting shocked by it.  Still, the clouds are still brewing and it is expected to start up soon, so I may have to postpone the release once again(I know, it's irritating). Apologies. |
