Father Porogamas Kealioux (Age 55) Mother- Melian Kealioux (Age 56) Brother- Porogamas Kealioux II (Age 30) (Deceased) Sister- Jazmyn Kealioux (Age 19) Pirth Kealioux (Age 17) Shikari's family lived in a small village miles away from the nearest city. A dense forest laid less than a mile from the village and beyond that were giant mountains looming over the town. For entertainment the town shared legends passed from generation from generation and for Porogamas and Shikari, the favorite was the story of the Dragonballs. The two brothers would venture into the woods with their swords made of the sticks they carefully whittled and go on a hunt for the Dragonballs. Of course, they never came close to finding one, but they still continued their search. In the woods they encountered many wild beasts, some that chased the boys all the way home, and some that the boys would startle. These adventures provided the layout for Shikari's future. As soon as Porogamas was declared an adult in the village he left to the city to find someone who knew more about the Dragonballs and would return one day to tell the stories of his adventures, just as other explorers did. The towns elders looked down on the foolishness of his plan, they knew the Dragonballs were only a story and nothing more. Shikari was nearly fifteen at the time and in those days he spent much of his time working in his father's smith. His father had a small shelf of books all about smithing and encouraged Shikari to read them. Shikari slowly covered them, reading about methods, instruments, how-tos, and mostly things that he would never understand. Then, he came upon a weapon making guide and instantly fell in love. He started on his own sword but his father caught him and foiled his plans. He waited nearly a month before beginning again, carefully producing the sword of his dreams. With careful precision he had pounded out a very sharp blade that would be able to do quite a lot of damage if wielded in professional hands. He called it Dragonball because of the etchings he produced in the hilt, 7 stars, one for each of the legendary orbs. Years passed and Shikari advanced into manhood as well. His brother was considered dead, and the story of the Dragonballs was long forgotten. Until one day, Porogamas returned with magical tales of the lands surrounding the village. The elders exiled him for his ridiculous tales, but Shikari was enthralled and left the village to join his brother on his hunt for the Dragonballs. He had a device that showed the location of each Dragonball and with it, the brothers came upon the three star Dragonball. At last it seemed that the two would have their wish granted... On their journey they encountered rough times, so Porogamas set to work on teaching Shikari all he knew of sword play. It wasn't much, but it was adequate to take on whatever crossed their path. The two trained each other and ended up being decent with the blade. Many of times they fought off bandits, or wild animals, and even the occasional dinosaur with their weapons. Porogamas had also learned a few tricks of energy manifestation, which he called magic. It was difficult for him to so much as float, but nonetheless the two considered themselves Gods among mortals. Sadly, Red Ribbon dashed their plans upon finding out that they had the third Dragonball in their possession. Refusing to cough up the Ball, Red Ribbon responded violently and sent out a military force to defeat the two and confiscate the Dragonball. It was at this time that Porogamas was shot and killed, and Shikari was shot as well, but the army left him for dead. Shikari was saved by a traveling circus who had treated him and helped him back on his feet. After spending nearly the most boring year of his life with them, traveling all over the continent he left and wound up in a place called South City. It was nearing his twenty first birthday and life was much different in the city than it had been else where. He was recognized by a local gang called the South City Rebels and recruited after a few weeks of living on the streets. He was given shelter and brotherhood, but the members were not ones Shikari considered friends. He was called Sharkie, a distortion of his name, and he was assigned a guard position, guarding the lines of the Rebels territory. Due to his excellent skills with a blade he was considered a very valuable asset to the gang and quickly rose in the ranks. Eventually, his life of crime caught up to him and the law tightened it's grip on the city. Most of the Rebels were imprisoned, Shikari being one of the few that narrowly escaped the grasp of the law by running into the wilderness. He assembled the few remaining gang members and fought back against the law, breaking into the jail and unleashing waves of criminals back onto the streets. Red Ribbon recognized Shikari's accomplishments and offered him to take him into a secret force, Scarlet Squad, a higher caste of soldiers than the Red Ribbon. Shikari agreed, even though Red Ribbon had killed his brother years back, due to the fact that he would eventually get his wish granted if all the Dragonballs were gathered. He figured he had a better chance of joining the opposition then fighting against a whole military force. Edited by Shikari, Oct 3 2010, 07:01 PM.
