Daemon was lounging around in a plaza. It was a nice plaza, had some trees, a fountain, and a mid-level view of the nearby city-scape. It was pretty high up, being a platform spawning off the side of a large commercial district building. Honestly, when he thought about it, this Mars reminded him of Coruscant from the Star Wars movies. All high tech, an almost planet-wide metropolis. It was nice. There was only one problem. "I have no fucking clue what to do." From what Daemon had ascertained, there was an Earth in this universe. It also wasn't his Earth. It had had it's own apocalyptic thing happen, but it wasn't meteor day. Colesprite didn't know what to do either, cuz this was outside the parameters of the game he was designed for. He was curious if Paradox Space had anything to do with this. Probably; considering it'd be paradoxical for something to NOT involve Paradox Space. But as it was, Daemon was currently aimless, having just finished an amusing conversation with a Gummi Ship salesman. Daemon was in apparent need of a Gummi Ship to navigate the worlds, but to do that, he needed "Munny" of which he had none. So now he needed to figure out if he needed to get a job, or if there was an easier way of getting Munny. |

Right as Adam was trying to take everything in, a sudden fire ball would come shooting out of no where and fly right into the screen destroying it, and causing it to fall on top of Zeke. Almost as if moving by instinct he jumped up from being startled so suddenly, his wings flashing out faster than ever. It was a nervous reaction he had, an old habit from when he was young. He turned to see and looked at Eve. His sister was...in a state that she had never seen before. Her skin was red, boiling red and the amount of anger that was radiating from her body was so strong that he could feel it. Literally. Also due to the effects of the fire the room felt a lot hotter at the moment. She quickly left the room soon after. "Adam, go after your sister, you two need to talk." That was Daemon. Adam turned to look at him but was at a lost of words. He always knew that his sister resented their father for leaving them, but not this much. In fact, it was a side of eve he had never seen before. The halfling looked at Kawika, then down to Wey-Lin who nodded. Adam let out a sigh, but then sprinted after his sister. "Eve! Please wait!" Adam shouted out from behind her. He caught up with her a few seconds later and knew that his sister would stop. He needed to think of something fast to say. "Look I." He suddenly stopped. What was there even to say? He had no idea what to say actually. Yet his mouth would move and the words would come out. "What do you hate more. Dad, or the fact that I'm obsessed with finding him." He paused. Was this really what he wanted to say? More words would begin to pour out. "You know, the real reason why I want to find him is because I want answers. I want to know why he left. And the video, kinda explains things. But it doesn't answer all of my questions! In fact, now I have even more!" Another pause. "I . . . I do admire him still yes. And I know we will never see eye to eye but Eve. I." He chocked on his words. He suddenly rushed up behind her and held her tight. "The thought of losing you is something I can't bear to think of." The tears were rolling down now as his voice began to get a bit choppy. "You've always been there for me E. Always. And you know . . . maybe this was a wake up call. I've never seen you this angry before. Is. Is this my fault?" |

She wanted off this ship. She wanted as far away from everyone as she could get so she could calm herself down. She was slowly gaining control of her breathing, and her heart rate was finally beginning to fall as the voice in her head realised that he was no longer being heard. Then she heard her brother calling on her, and it was like her entire body stopped working. She froze on the spot, her heart in her mouth and her lungs still as she waited to see what he had to say. "What do you hate more: Dad, or the fact that I'm obsessed with finding him?" What? Eve couldn't believe what she was hearing. Why would he even ask that? She opened her mouth to speak, but no words were coming out. She tried to move, to face him, but her body was almost frozen in time. Tears began to fall down her cheeks without any control, and she clenched her fists in frustration as he continued to speak. Even when he hugged her, her muscles wouldn't loosen. She didn't know what to say, or what to do. And then Adam finished saying his piece, and everything went quiet. She felt her throat clear and her mouth begin to move as single tears hit the floor. "This isn't your fault. I don't resent you for wanting to find him. I know why you want to find him, and those videos were far from useful in giving us answers. But Adam..." She pushed away from him so she could turn to face him, keeping a small amount of distance between the two of him while she spoke. "He knows we're looking for him, but he gives us nothing. No coordinates, no explanations, no directions. He just leaves us here on his old ship because of what? He thinks this is a game?" She could feel her temper rising again. This new angry attitude was all too easy to fall into. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to try and keep herself calm. Her voice softened as she explained "He doesn't care about us. Not the way a father should. I'll help you find him. But once you have your answers, I'm killing the bastard. Do you understand?" |

Daemon had actually been concerned when the screen fell on top of Zeke, but with how he absorbed the tech into himself and then popped up, seemingly good to go, he had put that aside. He then listened as Zeke explained...nothing actually. Daemon now knew that whatever this war was, it had been going on for longer than Zeke had been alive, but he still didn't know any details. It prompted Daemon to roll his eyes, sigh dramatically, and then facepalm. "That was exceedingly less than unhelpful Zeke." He watched as Zeke spoke to Reginald and then fixed the screen before continuing. "What exactly is this war about? Who's fighting? Why is it being fought? I got a war going on back home too, at least I know what's going on there! I got the white and the black carapacians fighting on the battleground over whether or not to create a new universe, the black carapacians hate frogs, which is apparently what universes are, so that makes sense, and the white carapacians like frogs and new universes. Meanwhile there are the Denizens which make the underlings I had to fight against, and they're kind of like final bosses we have to fight, so that makes sense. And because it's all a big video game that produces new universes, me and my friends get to become demi-gods and shape the new universe we'll rule, so yeah. I don't know what the hell is going on with the war in this universe and I'd like an explanation, please?" >>Wow, are you okay Daemon? You sound kind of upset. Daemon was in fact upset because he hated when people wouldn't give him a straight answer. He didn't understand exactly why, that it was related to his nature to destroy the obfuscation of knowledge. |

Zeke blinked at Daemons outburst. He waited calmly and patiently until he was finished, taking in every detail and listening actively. "Good. You know hot to strategize. That's a feat we'll probably need if Adam decides to get us all into some deep stuff because of his low attention span.... This war is older than anyone here. At least, most of us in the room." Zeke glanced at Kawika then back at Daemon. "It's probably as old as time itself. From the looks of things, it's between 'Light' and 'Darkness.' However, why it's just now affected our lives is beyond my understanding...... As to the fighters, well that would be damn near everyone. Pretty much every brave soul that wishes to make a difference can take up arms then defend for what they love. It's basic fairy tail logic." Zeke sighed as he turned about to look around. He couldn't make every answer up on the fly, but this was the basics. Why Daemon was asking the obvious, he didn't know. "You claim to be a demi-god.... I'm not here to challenge you for that title. In fact, I'm not looking for it. If godhood comes with an ego, then forget it. I'll get power another way.... Because in this war, I'll use my head before I use my sword. In this universe, this war is fought with cowards, charlatans, and thieves." Zeke turned around, "I should know. My own father was one of those cowards that dirtied my family name. So here I am, trying to cleanse our sins by talking to a guy that questions the air we breathe..... Welcome to our side of the multiverse, Daemon. Like it or not.... You're here for a reason. Now, are you gonna keep asking things that don't need to be, or are you gonna get ready for hyperspace? Because unless you wish to distract me any further, this ship is more than likely drive us into a sun if Reginald and I both don't figure out the appropriate co-ordinates to warp to." |

A soft sigh was let out by Kawika. "Thank you Zeke." Kawika would interject by walking in between the two. "I appreciate you showing the two keiki the video. You can go back to working on what needs to be done on the ship. I need to give a few things to these three. Come Daemon follow me. Grayson, you coming?" "I'll stay here. I got a few more things to tell Zeke anyway. It's fine." Kawika nodded and started to leave the ship. Assuming Daemon would follow, Kawika would wait for a bit then begin to speak. "Forgive Zeke. He can be iraz at times. He has one temper of one moke. The war . . . Has not been good to him. It's a sensitive subject. Let me answer your questions for you." Kawika would stop walking right as they reached a stair case so he could give his full attention to Daemon. "This battle, I wouldn't even call it a war really. There are forces out there that we know very little of. But there is an omnipotent being that calls himself The One who wishes to rule the universe. He's a monster who's cruelty knows no ends. He is so powerful that it takes thousands and thousands of men to even be a bother to him. As for us, we don't take sides. It's all about fighting for survival. That's what we do here. By some miracle, the Council of Hope, the people that run the government here, were able to create a barrier powerful enough to keep him out. I don't know how it works, only that the generators are powered by an extremely rare substance known as Kronoshards. Not even I could get my hands on them and believe me boy, I'm quite the big shot in the underground here. We all just wanna live Daemon. So we fight to survive. Shoujax, their father. He believed that he could find a way to stop The One. Regardless of it be killing the damn monster or trapping it in some far off place, he believed that he could stop him. There were a bunch of us back then you know. Years ago. We were young, optimistic. But like I said, that was years ago. Not many of us are still alive. And the ones that are, heh well. Let's just say we aren't coming back with just scratches." The Dark skinned man let out a chuckle as he pointed to his eye patch. "I lost this eye saving my friends. This ain't a war Daemon, because if it is, it's entirely one sided. A war implies that both sides have a chance. This is a massacre." There was a pause, Kawika debating what he should say next. "You seem to be the oldest out of everyone here. How you met Adam and Eve I won't ask but I'm glad you're here with them. This battle, this nightmare that we live in, this is the true reason why Shoujax left home, left the twins. He wanted them to avoid all of this, the darkness of the universe. And he believed that he could end this by the time they grew up. But he was wrong. So wrong. Which is why in his last video, he changed his mind a bit. He might have sounded cruel yes, but I won't question his parenting. His children was always a sensitive subject. He never wanted his children to go through the hardships he went through. No one does. But anyway, I believe that should answer all of your questions right? We are all just trying out very best to survive. Which is why I'll help you four to the best if my ability. Now then, enough with the morbid talk. I have a few surprises for you three. Let's go." The young teen was sniffling and wiped his eyes and his sister turned around to face him and say her piece. When she was done Adam would say a few more words. "I . . . I understand Eve. I don't know about killing him . . . But I understand. Thank you sis. I love you." Adam's usual cheeky smile came on his face as he looked at his sister. He felt so much better after having this talk. "Well I'm glad that you two seem to be better after all that." Kawika had just exited the ship and met up with Adam and Eve, Daemon following behind him. "Come with me. I have something for you guys." Not bothering to wait for an answer, Kawika would head back to the main dance floor. Finally up above Kawika would tell the three to wait on the main dance floor while he went to his office, then came back a few minutes later. "Now, you guys are gonna be adventuring and what not so you'll need a little bit of help. So, time for some goodies." The man was holding what looked like a box and put it down. "Ladies first. Eve, come here. What I'm giving to you are these." Kawika opened up the box and took out a pair of black fingerless gloves with red flames on the back. "I kinda figured you were the one that got the powers, and I can't say that I'm not worried. And I know no matter what I say you probably won't listen to me, so take these. Magical gloves that Grayson found on his adventures. They can make you turn completely invisible. It won't exactly hide your presence, but hey for stealth missions it'll come in handy. Oh and the flames I added on. It'll help to control the flames inside of you. After all, the gloves were once owned from a demon, so it's fitting. As you grow stronger I'm sure you can unlock the full potential of the gloves. Now since these are magical gloves you kinda have to use your mind to activate them. That's how Grayson described them anyhow." With a toss Kawika would throw the gloves at Eve with a smile. Eve Gloves "Next up is you Adam. Now, I figured that you're gonna wanna be like your dad aye? Well if you wanna be like him, you're gonna need to be fast. Cause trust me when I say he's the fastest thing alive. Take these." Kawika next took out a pair of high tech looking silver boots that had nozzles on them. "Now these babies are propulsion boots. They can give you a boost into any direction that you want, granted your feet are in the right direction. They shoot out extremely compressed burst of air in the first mode and in the second mode they can shoot out streams of flame to allow you to hover. Also, if you time the air bursts just right you can even do a double jump in mid air. You activate them by kicking out really hard and fast." "THAT'S AMAZING OH MY GOD THOSE LOOK SO COOL." It seemed like whatever tears were on his face were completely gone as Adam's face lit up like a light. He was like a child getting a toy for Christmas. Kawika let out a chuckle and tossed the boots at him. "The best part is that once you put them on, thanks to the upgrades I put on them you can Materialize them and cause them to go away at any given moment. All you have to do is double hit your heels together and they form around your feet. When you do it again they fade away, only two small orbs will me on your shoes regularly." Adam Boots "And lastly, Daemon. I'm not gonna lie man. I have no idea what the hell to give you and I actually feel pretty bad. I got a bunch of thinks in here if you wanna take a look. I mean, I have a bunch of tech in here ranging to literally anything. Hell, I even have an actual jet-pack." And to prove it he literally took out a jet-pack. It was a nice chrome white with streaks of black and silver on it. "Oh and just like with Adam's boots they can materialize at any given moment. You just gotta have the main vest on you. I got a couple remotes you can use to control the trajectory. Please let me know if you want anything else though cause I really wanna give you something that'll be worth your while." Daemon Jet-Pack "So guys, tell me what you think. I'll give you guys some time to fool around with your new gear. Once you guys are ready I'll fuel up the ship and Reginald can give you an official tour. After that you guys can be on your way." "Thank you Uncle Kawika! These are so awesome!" Adam was already putting the boots over his normal shoes. Surprisingly they fit well and snapped into place once they were fully on. To test them out Adam double clicked his heels together and sure enough the boots dedigitalized and faded away. Then with another double click they formed once more. Adam looked up to see how the others were fooling around with their new gear. Meanwhile, again back on the ship Squire would slowly walk up to Ezekiel and put his hand on the teen's shoulder. "Your father wasn't a bad person ya know." He took his hand off of Zeke and continued to slowly walk. "He was a man of conviction. I know you think otherwise but I should know. I've been friends with him since before you were born. I've fought with him on countless battlefields. And I don't know how you feel about him, but I know for a fact that both of your parents loved you. That's all. I made a promise to look after you and I intend to, but then again, you ain't a kid no more. If you wanna get something off your chest, you might as well as do it now." The older aged man reached down into his pocket and took out a cigarette. "Reginald, you mind if I spoke in here?" "Nah. I'll just turn on the ventilation systems. Uh. I suppose I'll go back to doing inventory. I have a feeling we might leave today if the preparations are ready." "Copy that." And with that Squire snapped his fingers to create a very small demonic flame from his thumb that he used to light his cig. He took a drag and exhaled into the air as he waited for Zeke to respond back to him. |

Eve felt her lips form into a soft smile as her brother told her he loved her, but it disappeared as fast as it had appeared when she heard Kawika coming towards them. Although she had no particular excitement for gifts, the idea of some new gear did intrigue her as she had a feeling they weren't all that prepared for the battles they were walking into. If it helped her fight, she was interested. Following the old man's instructions, Eve stepped forward when her name was called and took the gloves from Kawika. She listened to his explanation and gave a polite nod of understanding before stepping back and heading off to her own little corner to try the gloves out. She was interested in what Adam would be given, but she knew he'd be going on about it for the rest of the day - out of pure excitement - so she didn't need to pay attention right now. She slipped on the gloves and stared at them now that they were on her hands. They fit well, but now she looked like even more of a biker. She began to glare at them, trying to figure out how to activate them, when suddenly she couldn't see them anymore. She couldn't see any of herself anymore. Either she was invisible or getting too caught up in the excitement. She strained again and popped back into sight. This was pretty cool - now she could avoid everyone. She then lifted her right hand and began to make a fireball in her palm. It was harder to form - like she had to push through a filter - but she imagined that with practise she'd find it a lot easier. These would certainly help to control her fire. She could tell because the asshole voice in her head was incredibly angry about it and would not shut up. She smirked and brought a cigarette out of her pocket, forming a small flame on the end of her thumb and lighting the cigarette with it just out of amusement. Hearing Kawika finish, Eve finished her smoke and stomped out the cigarette before walking over to the rest of the group. She nodded to Kawika and muttered "thank you for your help." |

Daemon rolled his eyes behind his shades as Zeke continued to try to describe this "war" in vague terms that didn't actually tell him anything. Daemon wasn't asking for philosophical "why"s he was asking for facts. Names. Information. Jeez. And at the end Zeke accused Daemon of having an ego and not wanting godhood if it came with one. I have an ego but it has nothing to do with my powers. "I'm not a demi-god yet, I got yanked from my Quest bed right before I could commit suicide on it." Before Daemon could ask if Zeke was daft and not understanding what Daemon wanted, Kawika saved the day and lead him to get some gift while actually explaining the war. Finally, so there's "The One" and he's an overpowered final boss, he wants to conquer the universe, he's basically getting a genocide streak, and the chances of winning against him aren't good. "Thanks for properly explaining that to me." They met up with Eve and Adam who seemed to have resolved things for now, and then went to get their gifts. Eve got some cool gloves, Adam got some neat boots, and Daemon got a jetpack. Kawika was explaining how the items can "materialize" for easy storage as smaller items on their person when Daemon just put it in his sylladex, causing the jetpack to disappear completely. He then equipped and unequipped it repeatedly, and quickly to show how the sylladex makes things easy. "This'll be awesome to alchemize with." Daemon chuckled with appreciation, nodding at Kawika in thanks. Looking over at the others, Adam was having fun with his boots, while Eve was using hers to light a cigarette of all things. "Why the hell are you smoking?" Daemon asked, raising an eyebrow. Edited by Daemon Sol, Jul 23 2017, 09:58 PM.

Squire waited until the others left before he started, "Your father wasn't a bad person ya know." Zeke looked away, it was always a touchy subject, but it seemed like he pushed it down long enough to the point that they had to talk about it now. Squire removed his hand from Zekes shoulder before continuing. If you wanna get something off your chest, you might as well as do it now." "I get the fact that you're doing what my mother asked you to do, and raise me since my father wasn't able to.... but we both know how little I could care about him. He left. So, excuse me for being only able to take a single thing from him and make a full description off of that... A man that was afraid to take resposibility of his own son... and teach him to be a man." Zeke scoffed. "Like talking to people for one. Just from Kawikas reaction tells me that I might not be the best pick for this quest.... I get that I'm good with machines, so they might need my help as the mechanic... but I'm more than just that.... I'm...." Zeke looked away. His angery was washed away and the spark in his eye was lost now. The electric shine in his eye was gone and instead was the same cloud that came by when he was trying not to think about his place. His, in this vast universe. "I know I'm still young, compared to when you and my parents began your adventures... but I'm not sure if we're ready for this.... Adam still acts like a child. Eve clearly has no want for this search for their father. Daemon is from another plane of existence, so I'd imagine he wouldn't want to be here any longer..... And I've just tapped into my inheritence... I'm scared, I'm lost, and to make things worse for me, I'm unprepaired.... None of this feels right. Not since the day my mother died. Not since the day my father left me... Not since.... I don't even know how long ago." Zeke took a shaky breath and steadied himself on the counter. He was silent for a moment before he finally mustered up the courage, "What if we find him.... and he tries to kill us? What if... Shoujax isn't the same in person? What if my father was different now than you remember him from then....? What if he rejects me....?" Each question was softer than the last. The storm in Zekes eyes were set... and a tear fell down his cheek. "What if he hates me? That I'm so much like him that it disgusts him to the point that he refuses to have anything to do with me... To see all the latent talent buried within now gone because of selfishness. Of wanting a family. Of wanting-" Zeke choked on the last word. He tried to calm himself, but nothing was working. All he could think was his last question. The one thing he always thought about. 'Of wanting to be loved.' |

The three all seemed to like their gifts. That was good, they would need it for their adventure that was soon to begin. Adam was joyous, Eve said thank you and took out a smoke, and Daemon seemed to nod in appreciation. Adam turned to look at Eve and saw her exhale smoke, not fully picking up that she was smoking. He thought that she could just break smoke whenever she wanted to. Not that it really bothered him. He seemed to be too excited for their next adventure to begin. "Well I'm glad y'all seem to like your new gear. I suggest you two get ready to leave. I don't think you want to be adventuring around it those." he said with a chuckle. Adam tilted his head and realized that he and his sister were still wearing their Pajamas. "I've been keeping in contact with Reginald, you guys are ready to go. Or will be within the next hour. Ship should be fully stocked with enough supplies to last you a good three months maybe more. I'll wait here. Once the three of you are fully ready to go then the four of you can leave." Adam nodded and quickly took off to find his bag by his futon and went to the bathroom to get dressed. While in the bathroom Adam was just about fully dressed when he looked into the mirror without his glasses. Without the swirls he actually looked quite normal, even a bit handsome. He splashed water on his face then wiped it off and cleaned his glasses. This was it. This was everything that he had been training up to for the past year. It all came down to this. Strolling out of the bathroom, Adam had his new gear equipped with his back pack on as well. He would fool around with the thing Daemon gave him once he had some free time on the ship but for now he would wear his bag. While he waited for Daemon and Eve he decided to practice with the new Boots he got for now. With a double tap of his heels the Boots materialized and boosted his height by a few inches. A jump was taken to which when he landed Adam bent his knees to absorb the impact. He could already tell that these boots were way better than any shoe he had before. With a running head start he sprinted forward a few feet then leap forward a few feet. When he landed he crouched his knees then kicked off of the ground as hard as he could. This time, when he jumped the Boots kicked in and expelled a burst of pressurized air increasing the vertical of his jump by a good fifteen feet. "Woah!" He had never jumped this high before. Sure he could fly but being able to physically leap this high was different. Making sure to land properly, he positioned his feet just right and to his surprise, the boots absorbed most of the impact. With his velocity he kept on running but quickly came to a stop. 'I'm gonna have to practice a bunch more. But these things are cool!' Again with a double click of his heels, The boots faded away and his regular shoes were seen. After that Adam walked over to Kawika and gave him a nod. "I'm ready." Meanwhile . . . Back in the ship, Zeke answered back to Squire and began his response. It wasn't surprising at all. Squire already knew exactly how Zeke felt but he wanted to hear it with his own ears. And now that he was finally getting it off his chest, he was glad. In the meantime Reginald remained quite finishing the task he had at hand. Ezekiel was towards the end of his bit, the words starting to choke up. "What if he hates me? That I'm so much like him that it disgusts him to the point that he refuses to have anything to do with me... To see all the latent talent buried within now gone because of selfishness. Of wanting a family. Of wanting-" "So you'll just run away then boy?" the man would suddenly interject. "Zeke. Listen. You can't just keep on running. You know, I can relate to you. I didn't really know much of my father either." There would be a pause. Surely Zeke would look up and towards the man now. He had never spoken much about his past due to Ezekiel's sensitivity but now was the time. "My father was a demon. A high overlord over the demon realm. How he and my mother were ever a thing I . . .I do not know. But it happened and I was born. And I can admit. How could he just abandon my mom like that. I mean, if he really loved her he should have came back right? I know that's what you're thinking. And I don't blame you." A soft exhale was released from Squire as he slowly took a drag from his cig and released the smoke into the air above. "But that doesn't give you a reason to want to run away from your past. My father had his reasons for leaving and so did yours. Hell, even Shoujax did. I mean we all just watched the video, and he said his reasons right there plain as day. Fathers will always have their reasons for doing things. However, that doesn't make them any less shitty now does it?" A chuckle came from the man as he slowly began to walk towards the teen. "I'm not looking after you because your mother asked me to Zeke. I mean yeah, she did ask me, but that's not why I did it. Truth is, heh. Wow am I really saying this? I see myself in you. You are just like me in so many ways when I was younger it's uncanny. And that's why I can say this. You can change-no. You will change. You WILL become stronger. You just need to believe in yourself and believe in your friends. What friends you might ask? Well that's up to you or not if you want those three to become your friends." There was another pause, although this time it was from Grayson pulling Ezekiel into a soft embrace. "End the cycle of shitty fathers Ezekiel. You can do it. You just need to believe in yourself, alright?" The man pulled away but just enough to where himself and the teen would be face to face. "Who cares if you're qualified or not? Of if you're ready or not? None of that shit matters. The only thing that does is if you believe in yourself. Self confidence. Heh. You know, I never thought I would be having a talk like this. But here we are. Zeke, you are born to carry the torch of the next generation like how your uncle did. He was a great man, the first leader of the Legion of Chaos. Ah. I don't think I ever told you was his code name was, did I?" This time, Squire put his hand on Ezekiel's shoulder once more. "Faith. His name was Faith. And trust me when I say he was the personification of self-confidence. So never loose hope alright? Be a man of Faith." For the first time in what would be years, his heart was softened and Squire would let out a soft smile to the teen as he said those words. However that would be short as he fully pulled away and again took a drag form his cig, this time finishing it off. "Now go gettem kid. Just believe in yourself." |

Eve didn't even bother to look at Daemon as he spoke to her. Who was he to judge her? Besides, it's was none of his business anyway. She dropped the cigarette on the floor, stamping it out with her boot and responding in a low, monotone voice that told him not to piss her off "I have a literal fire demon stuck inside me. You do the math." Heading Kawika explain the next step in their plan to head off, Eve nodded and left the room to go find her bag. She had left it next to her brother's, so she set off beside him with a determined stride. She smirked and joked to her brother "nice boots, Megaman."Reaching their bags, Eve wasted no time, grabbing her back and hurrying onto the ship. She used to live with two guys and was notorious for sleeping in, so she had perfected the art of getting dressed over her pyjamas and then taking the pyjamas off from underneath, the entire time walking towards the control room of the ship. To anyone watching, it wasn't the smoothest operation, but it got the job done. She made a quick pitstop in a bathroom so she could wash her face and brush her messy red hair out. Looking at herself in the mirror, she sighed and splashed water on her face. She looked a lot like her mother, but more worn down and miserable. She believed she would be the spitting image of Mey-Rin had her father not left them. Although she was aware that the resting bitch face probably didn't help either. Leaving the bathroom, Eve hurried into the control room. Unaware of any 'heart warming' daddy-talk that was going down, she called out Reginald's name and had a skip in her step as she entered the room, completely ignoring the two people in it. "Reg, I need a map to get me round this ship. I got some I need to unpack and no idea which little hole on the ship I should put it in. Unless..." She turned to face Zeke, completely disregarding the fact that he was clearly in the middle of something and asking "you want to save Reg and I the time and just show me which room I can take?" Usually she tried to avoid people at all costs, but she couldn't be bothered having to read a map and find a spot by herself. It would be faster if someone could just show her. Besides, it's not like they even had to talk, and out of everyone on the ship she had spoken to Zeke the least, making him one of her favourites. |
