“The universe is a vast and boundless realm, full of countless races, civilizations, and organizes of all shapes and sizes. Of the nearly infinite number of souls that exist within this universe, there are a few that have the potential for greatness: The Awakened.

Some are born into this power: a birthright passed from generation to generation. Some are preordained to this calling: chosen by powers outside of their control. Others have this power given to them: ordinary citizens until that day of reckoning when everything changes. Regardless of their origins or identify one thing is consistent: They all have the potential for power and the capacity to break through their limits.

As a new Awakened, your path begins here. Are you a royal heir destined for the adventure of a lifetime? Are you a Space Pirate searching only for fame and fortune? Are you an ordinary soul just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time? The choice is up to you. The Universe is a vast and boundless realm, full of countless races, civilizations, and organizations of all shapes and sizes. You are but one of a nearly infinite number of souls, but this is just the beginning; The universe is full of trials and adventure, waiting for you to go out and explore. This is your awakening: Your story has just begun.”

Daemon was lounging around in a plaza. It was a nice plaza, had some trees, a fountain, and a mid-level view of the nearby city-scape. It was pretty high up, being a platform spawning off the side of a large commercial district building. Honestly, when he thought about it, this Mars reminded him of Coruscant from the Star Wars movies. All high tech, an almost planet-wide metropolis. It was nice. There was only one problem.

"I have no fucking clue what to do."

From what Daemon had ascertained, there was an Earth in this universe. It also wasn't his Earth. It had had it's own apocalyptic thing happen, but it wasn't meteor day. Colesprite didn't know what to do either, cuz this was outside the parameters of the game he was designed for. He was curious if Paradox Space had anything to do with this. Probably; considering it'd be paradoxical for something to NOT involve Paradox Space.

But as it was, Daemon was currently aimless, having just finished an amusing conversation with a Gummi Ship salesman. Daemon was in apparent need of a Gummi Ship to navigate the worlds, but to do that, he needed "Munny" of which he had none. So now he needed to figure out if he needed to get a job, or if there was an easier way of getting Munny.

Adam couldn't help but feel perplexed as Kawika explained what was going on to answer Daemon's question. He was even more confused when he slowly stopped when it came to him and his sister. Finally they reached their destination which seemed to be a red light district. Well, maybe not red light, but it had that urban feel to it for sure. In bright neon red lights was the name of the place the dark skinned man was taking them into: Ikaika Uhane. "Oh! I know this one! It means strong spirit!" Again with a grin on his face Adam was happy that he actually understood some of the language that somehow seemed native to him. Before they entered however, the boy realized that his angel wings had been out the entire time and decided to put them away in a flash of light before entering the building. What happened next would literally make his jaw drop.

Their "Uncle" had just taken them into a massive night club. "So, I understand you have many questions. And I promise, little bruddahs, I will get to them. But first, go get some grub on me. I've gotta look into something real quick before we can discuss anything about.... your father." It was with that he went to talk to the DJ. As Kawika walked away Adam couldn't help but be awe struck. A place like this was a dream come true. It was only within the past couple years that he started to listen to EDM and the fact that he recognized the song that was playing that made him even happier than before.

"Oh. My. God. This...this place is AMAZING!" The angel yelled in a loud voice which could even be heard over the music. "Eve, Daemon lets have some fun!" The excited ball of joy would sprint and accidentally break his grip with his sister as he took off his back and set it down next to the turn table then jumped over the railing to land on the dance floor below. He took his hands and ran them through his hair as his eyes paced around the room looking for an open spot. And when he found one he was happy; it was time to let loose. He reached into his back pockets and took out a pair of white gloves. As soon as they were on he pressed buttons that were inside of the tips which caused the tips of the gloves to glow a bright spectrum of various colors. At the same time the music changed and Adam started to do his thing. It was time to put on a few light shows.

As the music would play a small group of people would slowly start to gather around the glover as he started his performance. He would look really serious, focusing on his fingers and ignoring the crowd around him. He would continue with his set until the song was over.

Eve didn't quite understand where they had ended up. Listening to Kawika's explanation for Daemon was interesting her, but what interested her more was the area they had come to. It was nothing like their hometown; the neon signs were like nothing she had ever seen before. She was amused by Adam's excitement, however, and that comforted her greatly. Intrigued by Kawika's words, Eve loosened her grip a tad on Adam and curiously followed him into what she could only describe as another world.

A world she didn't particularly like. It was loud; there were obnoxiously bright lights; she wasn't fond of the music that she recognised as the crap her brother listens to; there were too many people for her taste. She had to focus really hard to hear Kawika over the noise, but her eyes narrowed in suspicion as he paused before mentioning their father. She had a feeling there was more to their father than Kawika was letting on. She tried to stop him from leaving, wanting to ask a couple of questions before he left, but he was lost in the crowd before she could even make a sound.

"Oh. My. God. This...this place is AMAZING!" Eve rolled her eyes, knowing full well that this was Adam's heaven, and that he would start to act like a five year old on Christmas. But it didn't really bother her until he let go of her hand and ran off into the crowd. "Adam!" She ran over to the railings, panic stricken, and frantically scanned the crowd below. Once she saw the small crowd gathering around her twin, Eve let out a large sigh of relief as her whole body relaxed, leaning against the railing and watching him have fun. She never understood his excitement for this kind of music. But he was the one that kept up his interest in music, unlike her, so maybe it made sense.

>>This area looks interesting, what is this place used for Daemon?

Daemon raised an eyebrow when he saw they were headed to the clubbing areas of the city. Oh please tell me he runs a night club, that would be dope, if cliche. Daemon thought to himself with a smirk as they entered a place called Ikaika Uhane. Daemon was about ready to laugh at having called the club thing when they came to the truly massive dance floor. Daemon jaw would've dropped at the sight, if he was the type of person to do such silly things. Kawika tried to speak over the loud music, assuring the three of them that he would answer some questions later, after they got some food. Adam seemed to have other ideas, excitedly yelling and bouncing onto the dance floor. Eve, worried for her brother, chased after him, calling his name and only stopping when she saw him doing a glove/light show thing and drawing a nice crowd too. Daemon watched for a minute himself, suitably impressed that the bouncy ball of ADHD called Adam could have the focus and coordination necessary for the act. But that gave Daemon an idea of his own.

>>Daemon, where are you going, why are you leaving your friend?

With a grin, he decided to show up the teen, and slipped off to the DJ to make the arrangements. Once the music samples were picked, Daemon swiftly used his Fetch Modus to pull some old toys of his out of mothballs. He'd spent some time a few years in his past having done some special rave performances. He got out a bunch of special LED costumes he sometimes called Tron-Suits. He then used his Create Objects ability to create some mannequins by destroying the nonexistence of their ideas (I love getting abstract with my powers). He clothed the mannequins in the Tron suits, did some testing, and got them ready. He had all the suits tagged to one of Daemon's many computers, which already had the dance and light algorithms ready. Daemon wasn't making a show from scratch, simply doing a short, easy one he'd done before and had saved and ready.

As the song for Adam's finger show faded out, so would the light, until the dance floor was almost pitch dark. And then, off to one side, where the floor had been cleared, Daemon's show would begin.

Using his telekinesis to control the puppets, and the automated light program controlling the suits' lights, Daemon pulled off an amazing choreography of light and dance. Daemon himself did not participate in the show until near the end, doing the controlling from behind. When he did jump in though, he had to be the main character. He was the one that he had mentally named Flame-Head, the centerpiece of the finale. The show ended with Flame-Head laughing deeply as all the lights faded out.

>>Well, Daemon. I'm at a loss for words. That was amazing.

Normally, Kawika didn't like it when people go to his DJs and try to pay them off, however this kid had talent and he had to give him that. Patting his current musician on his back and heading down the stand, Kawika made his way silently to his office in the back. He knew it was risky to go here when there were so many people, but he needed to check up on his latest project.

Sitting at his over sized desk with his equally large computer, Kawika swiped the desk to show it was a touch screen keyboard for the entire system. Including the one-sided glass window to his left. Immediately, he darkened it so he could get more privacy as he punched in his password for the computer.

A series of screens popped up, then a live video feed flashed onto the monitor. It showed another room, but not back outside. Somewhere else.

"Donovan?"

A young, typical nerd looking male came into view on the monitor. He wore large framed glasses, a doctors coat, and underneath was a dress shirt. Kawika raised an eyebrow, "How is he?"

The moment that Adam's performance was over his spotlight would be stolen by Daemon which he would have to admit, was very impressive. The crowd went wild over his new friend but he wasn't just about to loose to him. His mid absent of both Kawika who had snuck off to his office and his sister Eve who was watching on the side, Adam took out another object from his other pocket. It seemed to be a dick with LED lights on it with string attached to it. "Looks like I'm gonna have to go old school with this one." He needed to gain attention back. But how? That was when an idea sparked in his head. He took out his pistols and charged them up with his light aura, but not too much. He then shot a couple flares into the sky to illuminate the darkened dance floor instantly drawing attention to the young boy. Catching on quickly, the DJ would begin to play the next song to which Adam began to perform a lost art in the world of gloving: the art of Orbit.

Throughout the course of the song his disk would flare to life in a brilliant display of lights, these colors being of a different spectrum than the lights on his gloves. He would start off with a few simple tricks before pulling off his big ones. The people at the club were definitely impressed, some of them not knowing what Orbiting even was as it was a much older art than Gloving. Yet the attention he was getting would be ignored, his entire focus on his Orbit. Orbiting was by far much flashier than his gloves but not as articulate as it had to be controlled from a piece of string. Still, he would be able pull of techniques that he couldn't with his gloves as well. Once his song was over he would glance over at Daemon with a cocky smile on his face. He would sling his orbit over his shoulder then do a quick finger roll at his friend, gesturing to him to add more. Adam hadn't felt this exhilarated in a while. He couldn't remember the last time he had so much fun.

Eve rolled her eyes as the boys began to one-up each other. She didn't care about any of this, she just wanted to talk to Kawika. Her eyes wandered around to search for him, and she spotted him trying to sneak off into the back. Raising an eyebrow, she figured this would be far more interesting than two boys playing with light-up toys. She hurried off after Kawika, sneaking around the entertained crowd so that she was unnoticed.

She watched Kawika slip into a room she didn't recognise. Maybe it was a storage cupboard or an office of some kind? She waited until the door had closed before hurrying over and pressing her left ear against the door, covering her right ear to block out the noise from the dance floor. Focusing her attention on Kawika's voice, she could just make out what he was saying.

As if it wasn't intriguing enough that there was another person there, the moment she heard him refer to someone as just he, the cogs in her brain began turning. Who was Kawika talking about? Could it be her father?

>> Daemon, as amazing as these lights and songs and dance things are, isn't this a little silly?

Daemon in his Fire-head suit looked over as Adam fired off some flares to get attention back on him. With a raised eyebrow, he watched as the teen stepped up his game, pulling out a disc and starting a flashier show. Daemon himself was fairly impressed with the thing, as the variable images danced between wide circles and tighter star-like patterns. Knowing that Adam was wanting to escalate things, Daemon went ahead and gave the DJ the next set of music samples for his show and pulled out more suits and creating more mannequins. If Adam wanted more, he'd get more. After he had all his stuff set up, he waited and watched the rest of Adam's show. Once Adam was done and gestured for Daemon to continue, he simply raised a hand and snapped his fingers, at which point the entire dance floor plunged back into darkness for his show to begin. After a brief moment, the next show would begin.

After the show would fade out, Daemon would approach Adam with a smirk on his hidden face, wondering what the next step in the show would be. However, he'd notice that Eve wasn't watching them at that point. After looking around he'd ask Adam, "Hey, where's your sister?"

"Stable finally. And he isn't screaminy anymore, so there's also a plus. His heart rate has lowered to a normal pulse and his brainwaves have calmed to a dream-like state. My question is how in the world did you know of his origins?"

Kawika sighed deeply, one that showed he could finally relax. "Because he's just like myself. Only.... the exact opposite of my people."

"He's a demon?!" Donovan turned to look at something off the monitor. "He doesn't look like one."

"He's only half demon. A Nephilim, if you would. The rest is pure human. His powers are exactly like a demons would be, but because of his han half, he can't use them at the fullest yet. Now, I need to you look at the three kids I brought in with me."

"What is it with you and picking up stray keiki?" Donovan shifted in his seat to fave something else again, then started typing on what sounded like a keyboard. "What about them?"

"I need you to scan them..... I need to know if they truly are the children of our prince. It's been far too long since we saw Shoujax.... and it would be refreshing to know he's out there."

Donovan nodded then proceeded to type in coding and instructions in his computer.

Outside on the dance floor, a series of laser lights would turn on and begin to play about the area. They would randomly go about the area and give the air a much more dramatic look rather than just the normal lights the place used.

Then, the DJ turned off his stage lights and hit the neon. In a moment, nothing would happen, then slowly the UV lights turned on and various people started to glow from it. They would have various patterns and paintings, and the hostess and bartenders would have matching ones: angel wings on their backs and white lines across their foreheads to signify halos. Then the DJ reappeared and he was decked out with a various pattern of techno lines and a series of spirals across his forearms. And as soon as he reappeared though, the music shifted again.

Adam couldn't help but feel defeated after watching Daemon's second performance. He didn't have the type of magic that his new friend had so it was really hard to keep up with him. It was more of a jealous envy rather than actual anger. Adam wasn't really that quick to anger anyway. The man approached Adam, which he could tell felt confidence by his posture. "Hey, where's your sister?"

"E? She should be right here." Adam turned around only to find that his sister was no where to be found. HE panicked for a bit but quickly took a breath. It wasn't like Eve to just leave Adam alone. She was always, and I mean always watching over him. Something must have happened. "Hhmm. Hold up Daemon let me try something out I think I can find her." Adam took another deep breath as he wrapped up his Orbit and put it away in one of his pockets. As he was doing so the atmosphere of the night club started to change. The normal stage lights went off and everything went neon which was sure to put a smile on Daemon's face. Adam would ignore it though as his Light Aura would suddenly boost giving a slight white hue around his body.

He closed his eyes for a moment and when he reopened them the world would crawl to a stop as Adam activated his Critical Eye. Everything would be moving in extreme slow motion for Adam which to him would seem like a full minute but in reality only three seconds would pass. With his enhanced vision he would quickly scan the night club for any signs of Eve which at first he found none. A thing that he did pick up was that multiple people had new neon glowing paintings on them. Usually stuff like this didn't bother the boy but it was what the paintings were of that stuck out; angel wings and halos. A suspicion popped in his head but he put it aside to find his sister. Moments later Adam would finally find the bright red head near a door in the back of the club. "Found her!" Time would once again resume in his field of vision as Critical Eye came to an end.

Assuming that Daemon would follow after him Adam would move through the crowd as a new song began to play. It would take a moment but the two would come up and wake their way to Eve. "Not a fan of this place?" he would jest. Adam knew that this type of music was not of interest to his sister and didn't help the fact that she kinda hated people in general. "So uh. Whatcha doing?"

Eve couldn't help but feel disappointment as she realised the person they were talking about was half demon, so he couldn't be her father. She was about to leave the door and look for her brother when she heard Kawika mention her and her brother.

"I need to know if they truly are the children of our prince. It's been far too long since we saw Shoujax.... and it would be refreshing to know he's out there."

Eve's heart raised, but then sunk even further. This guy knew their father, but would be useless when it came to locating Shoujax. It did peak her interest that he called Shoujax their prince, but this would be of no use to her or Adam in the immediate future. If he didn't know where Shoujax was then she doubted Kawika would be much use to them at all.

She startled a little when she heard Adam's voice suddenly beside her. For a moment she was annoyed that he was drawing attention to her, but she figured that at this point, it didn't matter much. "Kawika doesn't know where Shoujax is." She felt surprisingly upset, but told herself that that was only because she didn't want anyone disappointing her brother. She began to walk past the two boys, snapping "let's go" in a pissed off manner.
