Continued from Relaxing is Nice Normally, it would be Zekes intentions to start things off logically. But logic was thrown out the window when Adam Celxniy decided to play Houdini and vanish from sight entirely. And not just from sight either, but everything! His entire being just popped out to another dimension like he never even was supposed to be here to begin with. Now the main question that Daemon, Eve, and Zeke himself were asking was "Adam, where the heck are you?!" Zeke was trying to catch up to Daemon and Eve by now. He knew that it was fine to panic and all, since their friend- well, Eves twin brother, turned into a plane hopper right then and there. Normally, he would freak out himself, but the second that Adam went missing and Daemon and Eve started crying out for Adam like.... well, how normal people would when someone did something like this, Zeke knew, he would have to be the calm one. He needed to be the rational one. "Dammit you two! Slow down! I'm not used to this much muscle mass." Zeke called to Daemon and Eve. |

Eve had never lost her brother like this. She had never even imagined losing her brother like this. This must be what Hell feels like. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her until one big boot collided into the other and she began to fall face first into the floor. A flash of light blasted off around her as her reflexes kicked in, and as her malting wings formed she pushed them off the ground in order to shoot her upwards again. Landing back on her feet, Eve heard Zeke commanding them to slow down. Every cell in her body was running at 100mph; she didn't know she could sweat this much until now. Her head was a mess, with the thing in her brain squeezing its claws around her brain. Trying to fight that off and keep calm enough to find Adam was proving impossible for the red head. With a sharp spin to face Zeke, Eve stared at him with wide eyes full of terror and screamed "we can't slow down! We can't! We need to find him!" As far as she knew, only Adam could make her lose her tough exterior like this. Her eyes stung as tears flooded them, and her angry panic turned into a despaired panic. With her eyes locked on Zeke's, her voice cracked and softened as she added "we have to find him..." There was a pause where Eve didn't say or do anything. She just stood there, mouth ajar, staring at Zeke. Her mind was racing with a million thoughts and it was like her body just needed a moment to catch up. But as soon as she snapped out of her daze, she pushed her wings into the ground and shot up into the air. |

As Daemon ran outside, he reached into himself to tap into his Void Powers. In his time learning about the mechanics of SBURB, he'd learned a lot about how the different classes and aspects had multiple meanings, and how if you used them right, you could do almost anything. Daemon was the "Prince of Void" with "Prince" meaning, "he who destroys his aspect, or uses his aspect to destroy", while "Void" could mean, emptiness, nothingness(there was a difference), apathy, indifference, and in more abstract senses, it could mean "the obfuscation of knowledge" or "it's outright destruction". It was with some irony that Daemon had realized that his destiny to become the Prince of Void was probably why he'd been so good with martial arts, as fighting with fists meant he "used nothing to destroy". He'd already figured out some abstract ways of abusing these rules, such as destroying the "nothingness" of an idea to make it real, hence his ability to create items. But now Daemon was about to try something he'd had little luck getting to work right. He wasn't sure if he was just trying to push the rules too far, or if he wasn't thinking about it right, but he was trying to use his powers to essentially "destroy the obfuscation of knowledge" with the "obfuscated knowledge" being "Adam's location". His eyes billowed out dark purple miasma as he tried to do it, his vision turning into blackness with white outlines. Sensing that he was doing "something" he swept his gaze everywhere, but saw nothing in that darkness that told him where Adam was. "Dammit." He muttered, not even knowing if he was doing it right, or if there was a particular reason why it wasn't working. Was Adam out of range? Was Adam's location not technically obfuscated? Damn these vague, abstract powers! ==>>Daemon, your eyes are doing that voidy thing, why are you doing that? Daemon let the Void energies go, turning to look at Eve and Zeke, who were yelling at each other. Zeke was having trouble moving with his new body, and couldn't keep up with them, while Eve was in a full blown panic. As much as they grated on each other, Daemon felt sympathy for Eve's plight. As upset as Daemon was feeling in his worry for his friend, how much worse was it right now for her, who's own twin had disappeared like that? All of a sudden Eve took flight, probably partially out of panic and partly to get a bird's eye view of the surroundings. Daemon groaned at this, worried about them all splitting up and getting lost. Dammit, it looks like Daemon would need to be the calm one here, the rational one. Focusing on his Void powers again (which he noticed was coming easier since his Grimdark episode) Daemon used Create Object to create a basic set of high-end walkie-talkies. He zipped over to Zeke and handed one to him saying, "If we get split up, meet back at the Data Center in an hour, use this if you find Adam, channel 2." Turning to look up, Daemon equipped his jetpack and launched himself up to follow Eve, moving to catch up to her and hand her a walkie-talkie as well. "Channel 2, if you spot Adam, let us know, if we get split up, meet back at the Data Center in an hour." And then, before she could fly off, Daemon would gently grab Eve's wrist, and gently say, "Eve, we'll find Adam, and give him a good slap for worrying us, so calm down and focus. Don't lose control." With that said, he would let go and turn to look around, trying to find any clue as to where Adam could be. |

"We can't slow down! We can't! We need to find him!" Eve shouted back to Zeke. She was hurt, he knew it, but she needed to calm down. "Eve-" Zeke started as he approached her. "We have to find him..." Eve said softly. It was painful to watch her like this. Zeke approached her cautiously. "I understand, Eve. But we need to be ca-" She never let him finish his sentence. Her wings flashed in and she took flight on the spot, leaving him with Daemon to stand there and feel like a lovestruck idiot. 'Like I said.... She doesn't care for you.' The thought returned as he stood there and watched Eve soar away. Then Daemon approached and handed him a walkie. "If we get split up, meet back at the Data Center in an hour, use this if you find Adam, channel 2." He said before turning about and taking flight via jet-pack. Zeke wanted to say something in response, but the two were already gone. Zeke placed the walkie into his pocket and sighed. Then he started to walk down the street, keeping his eyes among the people to see if he could find Adam in the crowd. |

Eve wasn't shocked when Daemon appeared next to her, but the walkie-talkie was a nice surprise. She took it hastily as Daemon explained what to do with it. She was about to soar off to try and find her brother when suddenly the her wrist was trapped by Daemon's wrist. "Eve, we'll find Adam, and give him a good slap for worrying us, so calm down and focus. Don't lose control." For once, the joker of the pack was making some sense. Eve's breathing slowed down a little as she relaxed, nodding and calmly pulling her wrist away from him. "You're right." She let out a deep sigh and lifted the walkie-talkie to her lips, pushing the button to connect to channel two and saying clearly "we need to spread out enough to cover more ground, but Zeke, make sure you can see me in the air at all times. I'll make sure I can see Daemon at all times, and that way we won't get split up." With that, Eve nodded to Daemon and flew off to the right, thinking about how Adam could have disappeared and where he possibly could have gone. Suddenly, in the middle of her thoughts, Zeke popped into her head. She had just left him there in her panic. With most people, Eve wouldn't give a s*** about being rude, but with Zeke, she felt a stab of guilt. As she scoured the city below her, she brought the walkie-talkie back up and said "Zeke. Sorry for flying off like that. I'm calm now." Eve wasn't exactly good at sincerity or affection. This was about as good as she was comfortable. But in the cold, mission-like statement, there were tones of genuine care. |

Daemon found himself feeling glad that Eve didn't hit him for touching her, and the fact that she did in fact calm down was great. Nodding at her, he lifted off to fly higher, planning to look at the rooftops in particular to see if Adam was sitting on any of them. He heard her orders over the radio, and smirked at her orders that Zeke keeps her within sight. "I'm sure Zeke's enjoying the view." Daemon muttered to himself, smirking. If things weren't so serious, he might have said that over the radio to tease them. Oh well, assuming everything works out, he'd rib Zeke about it later. As he scanned the rooftops, a thought occurred to him. ==>>Hey Daemon, do you think Colesprite could help? Dammit woman, I was already doing that! Daemon thought at the vague abstract voice he didn't quite acknowledge in the back of his head as he pulled out the amulet. In a flash of light, Colesprite was summoned into the air, holding a piña colada in a coconut, saying, "-So I punched the Dragon right in the- wait, dammit Drake, I was about to get laid!" "With what penis and/or vagina?" Daemon snarked at his sprite while glancing at colesprite's ghost tail, snatching the cocktail and downing the rest. "Ah~ I fucking needed that. Anywhore, Adam pulled a Houdini and vanished, we're spreading out to look for him, you help us out, okay?" Colesprite deadpan stared at Daemon for a beat before asking, "Which one was Adam again?" "The autistic kitten." "On it." With a heavy sigh the dragonoid ghost creature floated off to start looking for the kid. |

Empress of Clockwork

Roughly 75 feet behind the three individuals searching for the one called Adam, gusts of wind blew recklessly, almost violently through the streets of Dawnbreak. The Citizens of Dawnbreak, found themselves repeating themselves multiple times as they spoke to one another trying to be heard over the strange winds that blew between the conversation holders. Despite the activity of wind, the energy that flowed across the streets and across the alleyway felt natural, there was no magic nor power influencing the wind to act this way. All-in-all nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except the unusual magical blank spot that moved along the alleyway. Hidden from view from the three searchers, hidden from the senses, was a black...."absence" of energy that swiftly shifted from location to location, moving from corner to corner as the abnormal winds continued to graze and move, sweeping and swirling across the area. His orders were clear, his intentions for the three kids very straightforward. The mysterious figure, cloaked in an essence devoid of substance, phased from hiding spot to hiding spot, verily watching the three offworlders. Far enough to deceive the human eye with distance, the figure watched them intently, using his natural lack of physical eyes to view them with intent detail. No sound was made as he moved, no essence or signature could be felt or seen. Truly all that could be observed, was nothing. |

"We need to spread out enough to cover more ground, but Zeke, make sure you can see me in the air at all times. I'll make sure I can see Daemon at all times, and that way we won't get split up." Eve's voice came over the walkie, and thankfully Zeke made enough to understand to the point that he huffed at her logic. The comment made him angrier the more that he stayed on it. He placed his walkie on his belt so he didn't press the button, because he knew he was about to rant. "What kinda sense does that make, woman?! The point of splitting up is to cover more ground, that's why Daemon made these damn things! So we can still communicate with one another! What the hell is the point to split up if we-" Zeke stopped himself, then sighed. He removed the walkie from his belt and clicked the comms button and said calmly, "Roger that, Cap'n." Slowly, Zeke made his way back down the street, keeping Eve in his sights above him while also looking around. The street was filled with more people that he originally saw before hand. In fact it was almost like there were more because of the incident that happened earlier. And considering it was a dragon and all..... Zeke understood. But it was the fact that all of these people were continuously bumping into him as he tried to keep tabs on his two allies in the air, but also looking for their missing friend..... And this wind was getting seriously annoying! "Nope. I can do this much faster with one move." Zeke grabbed his walkie and clicked the button. "Guys, I have an idea..... but I'll need a cell phone first. And Daemon, not one made by your powers, please. I need one from this world, so that it is connected to their network for this plan to work....." Zeke hoped that this would work, because he was about to show them why B.R.A.W.L. agreed to take him in as a hacker. |

Eve was a little frustrated that they weren't fully splitting up, but she also had good reason for it - not that she would let them know. Eve knew that the boys were right - she had to keep calm - but she also knew that she was less likely to do that without supervision. She hated admitting it but she was terrible at controlling her temper by herself, and for once, she needed someone. She needed them. She just hoped that they didn't realise that was what this was about. Eve wasn't seeing any sign of her brother. It was getting so infuriating. As she scanned the city, frustrated that there were too many people around for her to use her snake eyes, she heard Zeke chime in over the walkie talkie that he had a plan and that he needed to go get a phone. She glanced up to make sure she could still see Daemon, before pushing down on the walkie talkie button and saying "do what you need to do." Eve thought for a moment and then added "do you think maybe he's gone back to the ship?" It was a long shot, but she was struggling to think of anywhere else. And she sure as hell wasn't going to see him walking through the streets at this height. |

A vivid image of Watch Dogs flashed through Daemon's mind as he heard Zeke say that he needed a phone. Right, he was a hacker, it went with his electricity theme, didn't it? Daemon placed a finger on the side of his shades as he tapped into the local google maps again, looking for cell phone stores, finding one, and comparing it to Zeke's current location. Turning on the radio Daemon said, "There's a cell phone store just around the corner from you, on Rising Sun Boulevard. I don't know what currency you'll need to use though, or if you have any, or care about 'buying' a phone. Whatever." Daemon was pretty sure the local authorities already disliked them, stealing a phone probably wouldn't matter in the long run when they needed to find Adam. It was at that point however that Daemon started noticing the unusual wind. And his Void senses were tingling. He turned in the air to turn his focus behind them to where the wind seemed strongest. There was nothing that was clearly visible, but he felt that there was something there, and since his void senses were tingling, perhaps he could see it. Again Daemon tapped into the Void, pulling on his powers and filling his eyes with energy again, creating an effect that "destroyed the Void" with the intent to reveal hidden things. After a moment, he would see wisps of a knight like figure, causing Daemon to frown. "Hey guys, I think Amaria sent one of her steel stooges to keep an eye on us." He growled into the radio. |
