Feng

(( Note: This is an in character training session, but is not connected to the RP in any way, shape or form. ))

The young man with long, dark hair approached the old door, which looked like it would give him a splinter. He was dressed in long black pants and a crisp, white shirt. A dark blue tie hung around his neck, underneath his collar. In his hand was a leather bag, much like those that one would see people who were professional businessmen or women walking around with as they struggled to get to work. A pair of wire-rimmed glasses adorning his face only gave him an extra boost of professionalism about him. Even the air as he walked was professional.

As Feng opened the door to the small, dingy room, he looked around at his new classroom. The walls were white cement, just reflecting how cold the room truly was. Opposite the door was the window. It was small, with only a three by three square to let in light. The light from the window shone down on a small, metal table. The only light in the room hung above the table, swinging back and forth. Two chairs were parallel to the window, one on either side of the table. Behind one of the chairs, to Feng's left, was a chalkboard, a few pieces of chalk just beneath it. The rest of the space was bare. No posters hung on the walls, nothing brightened up the colorless room.

Sighing, Feng shook his head slightly. He marched into the room, ready to make the most of his few resources. All he needed was what he already knew. He sat in the chair before the chalkboard, awaiting his student, one who went by the name of Barz. The chair squeaked a bit in protest, which only made Feng glare down at the floor. Not only was the room really cold, but the chairs were rickety. He shivered a little, suddenly wishing he'd brought a coat. He grumbled a little to himself, placing his bag on the floor so it leaned against the legs of his chair. He pulled out a few papers, ones that he'd received from his director (and, to an extent, boss) Jee.

The short girl had told him that he was to be a teacher as a side job to his acting. Feng had agreed. This was mainly due to the fact that she could make his life absolutely miserable, more so than she already had, if she wanted to. So, Feng had no other choice but to agree. He flipped through the papers, which gave him a detailed briefing of his assignment. In truth, Jee had only handed him those papers to make him look even more professional than he already did. His assignment was pretty simple; teach Barz more about grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and other things that Jee was a bit of a stickler about.

He grumbled a little, dropping the papers onto the table, which creaked in protest. The dark-haired teen grumbled and crossed his arms as he looked around at his classroom once more. He just hoped he was in the right room. Feng let out a small sigh before reaching into his pocket and flipping his phone open to check the time. It was 8:56. Class would start at 9:00 sharp, and Feng would not tolerate lateness.

Jee... I'd better get a damn good raise for this.

(( Broke the fourth wall 'cause I've always wanted to do that. Got permission from Nik, the King of Fourth Wall Breaking. I suppose you could say this post (and topic in general) is AU, but still must be IN CHARACTER. ))

[How did you address the audience I didn't see it.. Well on with the show..]

Precisely at 8:59 there was a knock at the door. A few seconds later the door would open revealing Barz the student whom was being taught a lesson. He really felt it mostly unneeded but would comply anyway. It is not in good manners to be late so by the time the clock showed 9 he was in his seat, fingers laced, eyes watching the board. His electronics were of course off as it's disrespectful to have otherwise.

He thought back when he received the notice to come to a tutoring session the next day at 9 sharp. He felt bitter resentment and refused to acknowledge he needed any further instructing in English. Then he remembered it's been a while since last he was in school and maybe his skills had gone south for the summer. It was also quite possible that in his last few works he was just being lazy as he so fond of being.

"Excuse me sir, is this the right room? I don't see anyone else. The note didn't say this was a private lesson. Sir, to be honest i don't think i really need this instructing, sure I've been a bit lazy in my work lately but a warning might have sufficed."

He sat there waiting for a response. He went into his bag for a bottle of water, took a sip, and put it back in his bag. The clock showed 9:02 and he was afraid he might have pissed off his teacher... Not a good start to the day....
