Let's become someone else. Perhaps with more depth of character.
|
It seems so...unportable. At least the shell is made of Nintendium (maybe) so that it may withstand the activeness/frustration of children. I wonder if this means anything related to the successor of the 3DS. (even though its only been 3, nearly 4 years since its release...) S. E. Lehcar is reminded of the Gamboy Micro commercials. *shivers* |

The soul of a forgotten file

Oh wow, it's still kinda terrible. I think I'll just stick with the regular 3DS that I have now. Edited by Hatsune Candy, Aug 28 2013, 09:48 PM.

The bored mutt

I might instead go for an XL myself should I need a new one now. Then again, I don't need a new one. I don't play my current 3DS that often anyway. |

Am I the only one that thinks of a slice of bread when I see this thing? I have been thinking of getting a 3DS so I could play the Shin Megami Tensei games. I was considering buying this since it was cheaper than the regular 3DS, and I really didn't care for the 3D feature. The only thing that I can't stand though is its awkward shape! I would've definitely placed my money down if it didn't look like that, so I think I'll look into a real 3DS. |

Deliciously delicious.

I found this freaking hilarious when I saw this one. I'm glad to know that it's pretty much an XL alternative that will cost less (kinda wished I saw this coming before my birthday >_<). A few things like the screen size, height, and no power saving mode bug me (not to mention the name, but it's not like I have any better ideas), but that's nitpicking at best. Although this sounds silly, it's pretty smart and consumer-friendly. I would honestly say that I wish my little cousins hadn't gotten their 3DSes already. This would practically be perfect for them. Nintendo deserves a bit of respect for this thing. |

Fairly sure I've given up.

Just cause you can't fold it, doesn't mean it ain't there. The 2DS got a Sleep button. |

Don't play with fire, kids.

The Link I posted said the 2DS has no power-saving mode. There's a sleep button, but no power-saving mode. I guess you have to actually turn it off after a day or two. |

I think power-saving mode refers to the system using less power WHILE it's being used. As in, from the options, you can dim the brightness and there is a "power-saving mode" that makes the screen a little more dull. At least I think that's what he means, I kinda doubled back myself at first and thought "how is sleep not a power saving mode <_<", but I think that's what he means. I won't be replacing my 3DS soon, but I think this system sounds like a nice, cheaper alternative to the regular system, one I would consider buying if my 3DS suddenly exploded. |
