I have no idea why you're having so much trouble with this, Speedy. It really isn't anywhere as bad for me as it is for you. Hm. This is troublesome. |

Fairly sure I've given up.

Yeah, it's really inane. If anything, I'm gonna cut internet connection to all the PCs aside from my own next week Friday, so I can be ensured that all that has connection is me. I'll just blame it on the router being crazy again. |

Big Update Incoming! Spiral HQ reports yet another update, this is the current situation. Achievements have been added to the game. In your equipment screen there will be a new tab next to progress which shows all your current achievements. Unfortunately, not all of the achievements you have cleared are ticked off but this should be fixed shortly. Achievements do not serve a real purpose in the game but tracking progress. A new consumable has been added: the Heat Amplifier. This item grants the user a +20% heat boost for 48 hours when used. This allows for faster levelling of equipment. This item can be bought from Boost, the Upgrade Merchant, for 800 energy. An exceedingly expensive item, not particularly worth the cost. Like other consumables, once used the timer will start, and it can not be disabled. A few monsters have undergone a slight change.
A new energy package has become available called 'The Starter Pack'. This package can only be purchased one time per account. The starter Pack is available for $19.95 and contain the following:
Gate creation has also had a change to it are now fully adjustable until launch-time. Mineral limits and boosting have been removed and the stratums won't lock after a certain point with this update. Crown payout has been slightly adjusted as well. A few more changes were made, but none that I feel are too important to include in this post. You can read the full article here. The Great Clockworks Run has been postponed! Due to an unfortunate event Speedy became ill and yesterday's event was postponed. Date has not been announced, but we are to assume it will launch next Friday the 3rd. Operation: Royal Jelly Gate Not too long ago, I witnessed something incredible; an entire gate, completely filled up with slime-themed stratums. It just so happened that in this very same gate we also had the Royal Jelly Kingdom in Stratum 4, so I was thinking... Let us work toward keeping the Jade Titan Gate entirely slime-themed! To contribute to the operation, you must collect minerals in the Clockwork and pay attention to the stratum themes in the Jade Titan Gate. Our goal is to keep every stratum slime-themed until launch time - if we can accomplish this, the operation will be a success. We are not the only ones to participate, so everyone, please lend the Spiral Order your helping hands! When you have finished an expedition in the Clockworks, head to the eastern part of the Arcade and look for the Jade Titan Gate. Pay attention to the monitors, depending on the current theme adding a certain mineral can either strengthen or disrupt the gate's possibility to produce a slime-themed stratum. The top-most monitor represents Stratum 1, the monitor below that one represents Stratum 2 and so on, bottom monitor representing Stratum 6. If any of these change from slime to something else, you need to repel the current theme by adding anti-minerals and slime-positive minerals. The icons represents races and elements, and this is the overview. ![]() Those with blue rings are race-themes, meaning that these are the main enemies you will face with. The icons with purple rings are elemental-themes, meaning that enemies will be of this element, but the races within are random. We are obviously aiming to turn every stratum into slime-themes. Now that you are familiar with the icons, it's time to get down to business. These are the recipes for making themes. ![]() Each colour represents the mineral of the same colour. Blue for Moonstone. Green for Valestone. Yellow for Luminite. Red for Crimsonite. Purple for Dark Matter. To counter another theme, simply add the anti-material to that stratum. If it changes, check what the next theme becomes. If it's not a slimes theme, apply the new anti-material. If no change was made, simply add Valestone and Luminite. Now, as you can see, both Freeze and Slime share the same anti-material, Crimsonite, so how do we counter it? Simple. Add Crimsonite and Luminite. Do not apply Valestone, as Valestone is Freeze-positive. By adding Crimsonite and Luminite together, you weaken the Freeze theme, and preserving some of the Slime theme. It is recommended that you hold on to any leftover materials to prepare for a possible theme-change in the future. |

Great Post, Man!

I still play this as well. Almost got Tier 2, just need one more Sharp Fang to make 2* armor, and I need a 2* shield, and I'm good. |

Well, what can I say. Operation: Royal Jelly Gate was a complete fiasco. In the end, nothing turned out slime-themed aside from the inevitable Royal Jelly Palace... Oh well. I would like to thank Speedy and Rescla for their efforts as well as the non-forum member Zeakstarwind. But alas, it was all in vain. Woe is me. Anyway, I'll be running around minding my own business as usual, though, so I guess nothing's changed after all. Hope to see y'all in-game. |

Hello update! We just got a new boss, and for tier one no less! Comes with its own special tokens and equipment! (Taken from the forums) New Boss Stratum: The Clockworks have just revealed a new, perilous boss stratum for Tier 1 Knights to challenge, The Gloaming Wildwoods. However new recruits should take heed - this dense forest is home to a fearsome creature known as the Snarbolax. Said to be a massive beast draped in living shadows, this dark predator enjoys toying with its prey before delivering the final blow. It is advised that only Knights who have mastered Tier 1 take on this formidable beast as those who have entered unprepared have never returned! Should you return from the Wildwoods victorious, with Frumious Fangs in hand, you'll find that Brinks has a new selection of 2* items available for trade. These include: - The Snarble Barb, a piercing sword that fires razor sharp barbs - The Spine Cone, a piercing bomb - The Bristling Buckler, a spiny shield that raises sword attack power All three of these items can be further upgraded through 5* provided you acquire their recipes from Basil. Personally, I'm beginning to eye that new shield. More sword damage for my future dread venom striker would be Awesome, but I would have to change the Mad Bomber suit to account for the loss of elemental protection. Looks like all 3 items have a relationship with piercing damage, which is interesting. Anyways, happy spelunking! Edited by Don Jentleman, Jun 3 2011, 12:47 PM.

Tested out the new boss. I don't fully understand the bell mechanic atm, but... For those that want to know boss strat, He's really not too hard, but I had four people and a stabbity at my side. I am fully interested in the shield. The sword bonus and 5* possibility is sexy. Also, update. Dodgy Armour: Weapons: Recipes: Learned Looking Spare
