Energy doors are optional, though. I took calculations on the floors only. You're right on the gate though, slipped my mind. Also, I just corrected my point calculations- the wiki clearly states 100 each 22 hours, so yeah. Anyway, calculating with the the gates, getting to depth 26 will be 190 energy. Same issue arrives, just at a later depth. Though you may actually HAVE enough to go one more depth by then, taking time into consideraiton. |

Yes, the game is very flawed in how it works out that I will admit. Let me list out my own little rant. First of all, elevators. Why, may I ask, are you forced to pay energy to move the elevator? If it was one unit, I wouldn't have a problem, but we're talking about 10 energy to go on. This will rapidly sap away your Energy, and for a full run through all the tiers you would have spent 230 energy. So much for just playing the darn game. What's more, the price isn't reduced when you have a party. You would think that going together would be beneficial on your energy reserves, but it still charges 10 energy for EACH INDIVIDUAL. How can it still demand 40 energy for a full party while it works just fine with 10 for one knight? They share the same elevator for Pete's sake! Next up, energy gates. You heard me. Seen those gates, hiding treasure behind it and no switch opens it? Those gates. They have a blue aura coming off them, and they charge 3 energy to open. Usually not much of a deal, but considering the amount of treasure behind it is miniscule, especially when going in a party as all income goes to the first person to grab it, is it really worth it? I will admit, I never think about it and just open them up for the sake of fully completing the area and leaving nothing behind. I guess that is the drive of a completionist. So, why do you have to pay energy? Can't there just be a locked door with a puzzle involved to grab the key like this one stage where you had to shoot the rocks away on the floating islands around? Yet another method to rip off your energy I suppose. Third on my list, and maybe the most important of all, the Crystal Energy market. I know it is a player driven market, but please, create a ceiling for how high the prices can go. Crystal Energy should be around the amount of crowns where it is profitable for a beginner to run through the eight depths of tier one, buy CE, and still have crowns left for recipes so that they can move on with the game. If this doesn't happen, the price for 100 CE will rise to 10,000 crowns...again. This is how high it was before it was released from the beta period. I just hope that this was all because of the character reset and not actual market development, but we can not say for sure. Regardless, as long as the market has openings to manipulate it to such ridiculous prices, new players will have a very hard time playing this game, which is supposedly a "free" MMO. Fourth, revival. It just drags it out too much. Die five times, and the cost to revive yourself already exceeds well over 200 energy. I know it should have a penalty, but on the higher tiers the revival price even increases BY DEFAULT, making it even MORE of a pain to revive yourself, even after burning all that energy to get there in the first place. Unless you actually purchase energy, dying is unacceptable and unforgiving. So yeah, that is my own little rant. And the funny thing is, it all revolves around Energy. It is basically your in-game battery, no pun intended. Once you're out, you're out of the game unless someone is willing to pay double just to let you tag along, which is very unlikely unless you're going with friends or your team-mates are very generous. It is very easy to suddenly feel cornered to pay, which is NOT how a supposedly free MMO should work. Needing money is one thing, but it shouldn't be a necessity to play the game. This is the only free MMO I've played that restricts play time when you play for free. That needs to be fixed. Otherwise, it's a fairly good game which is easy to get absorbed into. It's just a shame that it's so limited. Edited by Shane the Corrupted, Apr 16 2011, 09:59 PM.

WRONG. They cost 3 energy x2~! Why do I state it like that? It IS 6 energy, but you have to actually click twice, and you can in fact 'share the load' with someone else. Say I click once and someone else clicks once, we both have paid 3, instead of 6 for one of us. |

No, it is only three energy. You click once, and then it asks you to click again to confirm that you wish to spend those three energies. So it is just three energy, you just have to click twice to confirm it, in case you have second thoughts after clicking once. |

Behold, my planned set-up for the rest of the game: Weapons Armor Possible Trinket combinations The weapons grant me the ability to deal all the damage types available in the game, so I cannot be resisted so easily. This also has a nice de-buff set: graviton, shiver and callahan to keep enemies where I want them, dread venom to stop healing and deal significant damage in short periods of time. The armor is well rounded as well, covering the weakness of the Mad Bomber suit while still giving me it's benefits. Callahan covers it's own weaknesses of slowness and self-stun with it's power, range, and good stun rate on enemies, so there's no reason to focus on it. Besides, the bombs need more loving, and the sword needs to be the best damage source of the weapons. The trinkets will be swapped depending on the party and the dungeons I run. Overall, it's made to deal with anything that comes my way. Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated. Edited by Don Jentleman, Apr 17 2011, 06:12 PM.
