Fairly sure I've given up.

I found it a better game than MP3, but it's absolutely annoying how you cant move when you're aiming at the screen. There's just no way to avoid something coming at you when you were trying to shoot it in the face with missiles only a second before. |

Well, what I meant by that was that you still have purchased the motion technology, even if you aren't using it, per say. The point was, sony doesn't require it. If a big-name game came out exclusively for the PS3 that required Move, I would put a lot of money on the fact that Move sales would rise dramatically. |

You actually can dodge in first person in Other M. I also postulate that the Kinect was a sucky idea, but having not tried it myself (I have a Wii, why am I gonna buy a Kinect?) I cannot truly say. |

And as much as I love furry animals and Harmonix, I really don't think that's worth the extra money to buy the thing. |

Kinect is actually a much different idea than the Wii remote, unlike the PS3 Move. Kinect actually has TONS of uses. I've seen people use it for developing special effects on their computers and stuff. It actually seems more like people use it more for their computers than they do for their Xboxes, but hey... it's making s*** tons more money than Move. |

I've seen an article describing how, if a few things were different, Kinect could be the future of computers. It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it's precise enough to be as useful as a mouse quite yet. Eventually, we'll be playing .hack on a Kinect though. |

Shrug. I meant it's a precise camera like thing that identifies movements and stuff, which makes for some awesome, natural camera angles, but that's beside the point. The point is, Microsoft made the RIGHT move with their tech unlike Sony. |

The Kinect is basically a calibrated stereoscopic camera, very nice for doing stuff with. The Move however is monoscopic, and it misses out on a good chunk of the market that way. I guess sony went with the move because they felt like using cameras alone wasn't precise enough and they needed a external light source. |
