yeah but i dont mind being corrected but the fact that he could at least try and read it remember i dont think in english i first think what I am going to say in spanish then translated to english and sentence structure get destroy there.
Not because if the translation is the way sentences are contructed in spanish and english , it evades my thought on how to make a perfect sentence , one of which no one in here is a perfect writer so yeah ; Go ahead correct me but still at least try to understand what I do type since speedy didnt remotely try.

Well, a wall of text without proper punctuation and capitalization is incredibly intimidating. I had to look at it for a moment myself. I went ahead and re-posted said text with (more or less) proper punctuation and capitalization as I saw it fit, for convenience sake.

Being a foreign speaker of English, I do see the struggle you face when typing out your message in English while thinking Spanish. As for myself, I have pretty much adapted to English to the point where it's almost my main language. I do suffer some lacking of advanced vocabulary, but that is due to the restriction in the education I have. If English was indeed the main language used in school, I would also, most likely, know some more advanced words but this is not the case.
Oops, went too much into myself there. Point being, I see where you're coming from, but when writing large messages like that, finding out where to start and where to stop is very hard. If that message was a wall of text even I would possibly shy away from reading it all together as the words just pile up and become a big blob of nonsense. I guess this is why Speedy didn't feel like trying. It may also be that he simply couldn't read it at all.

If he couldn't read it i would understand better more than him not trying even if intimidating trying to make a sense of those small keywords make it more better. But also it has to do with the was how mexican communicate for example like this case : when We're speaking to anyone that is not our parents , teachers , or job supervisors we tend to be very lax to say the least with our vocab (which is what i considere in this forum) , thus the lack in more of not putting at least on my part also some effort on the punctuation part. But on the other hand as you said it is hard to try and communicate is like saying all english is the same which that is also not entirely true. If you thought people confuse both dutch with german man wait till you see how many official dialects for spanish they are , All of them , Well most of them dont have a single resemblence with each other but still at is root is spanish since it was it veiwed as but if asked to a person locally they would prob take that as an insult like when we tell speedy he speaks german (even though he is dutch) most people tend to confuse that , so i wonder if speedy actually realizes that his language isnt the only one that is confuse globally.

Fairly sure I've given up.
Except. Your blob of text. Was plain unreadable.

I could indeed grasp some keywords here and there, but they made no sense considering the words that gave those keywords any meaning was hidden among that wall of text blob.

In fact, my eyes are going 'what the heck did he just post' in that last post of your too. I could read the first sentence just fine, but the rest is one big blur of text.

Do people happen to miss the Enter button? I mean, it's right there, above the rightern Shift and beneath the Backspace.

And ghosty.. oh, ghosty ghosty ghosty. You realize I'm dutch yet seem to not realize that english is not my native language.

Also, for the grand finale on your postings, if I was REALLY a grammar nazi, would I not grind your posting to a halt on EVERY. CONSECUTIVE. POST. DOTDOTDOTQUESTIONMARK.

You NEVER use punctuation, your grammar and spelling sometimes OFTEN horribly fails to the point where nobody will ever believe they were typos..

And yet, I say NOTHING about it. I just leave it be.

You know why? Cause they're readable. Even if they break the laws of the english language, they are understandable.

Your blocks of text? They.. are NOT.

You should find yourself LUCKY there is no real Grammar Nazi on this forum, lest you run along crying for the beatdown you may receive. I know someone who's like the nicest guy ever (once even gave me a game over Steam) but if he runs into typos? He goes into a tirade, the likes of which could make A WALL. SHIT. BRICKS.

I know this is derailing but Speedy,I.....agree with you on this one,and dodge a big wall of text,I shall say:

Ghosty : Think about what Speedy said on his post and try to add them into your own.
Speedy : You make too many walls ._. , yeah I know it's minor, but it just bugs me a little bit. But they are informative! That's what matters in the end of the day.

Just want to point out Ghosty, that your last post IS readable, thanks to proper punctuation and capitalization. While small, single sentence posts are readable without, walls of text aren't. If you're going through the trouble of writing a moderately lengthy post, please take a moment to punctuate everything. It makes it much more readable.

And @TSBG, walls of text aren't necessarily the problem imo. It's just that they're hard to read sometimes.

And for the love of god, use the enter.

Rather a wall than a mass of text.

I'm German :D. Alhough I couldn't speak it to save my life -_-'.

Apparently English is the hardest language to learn? Probably because it ignores it's own rules half the time :(. Oh well, at least it doesn't have three alphabets like some languages. (Japanese for example).

I gotta agree with Speedy on this one, I don't really consider something a wall of text unless it's a large (two or three times what StC and ghosty wrote) amount with no paragraphs at all.

This thread has been completely derailed, guess this site has no mods except Naka >_<.

We 'had', in the loosest term of the word since Naka wasn't actually happy with them, some mini-mods.

'They' were also me.
