Fairly sure I've given up.
I've always liked all the Nintendo stuff.

The 360 controller is good to use, too, but I prefer the GC controller.

Which reminds me, anyone got a place where I can find a GC => USB converter?

Nintendo 64: Interesting. Takes time to get used to, but okay.
Dualshock series: Perfect, I love this.
Gamecube: You, my friend, are amazing. You did everything you needed to do, amazingly.
Wiimote: Okay. You're pretty decent, you do what you have to do.
SNES/Wii-Classic: Simple. Comfortable. Love eet!
Xbox series: Just uncomfortable. Button layout + controls for games just don't work well for me.
I agree with pretty much all of this. I don't have freakishly large hands so the Playstation controllers are good size. Xbox controllers are silly in my opinion.

I like PS controllers since I've grown with them. Untill recently I only owned Playstations, so I'm by far more used to their controllers.

Wait, wait, sudden realization as I didnt bother to properly read everything earlier..

You hate Xbox controllers, but like the Nintendo controllers and DUALSHOCKS?

The Xbox controllers are pretty much a mix of the Gamecube controller and the Dualshock controller; the buttons are placed in a mirror of the Nintendo layout, and the left side is pretty much identical to the GC controller. Only real difference are the top buttons, of which there are TWO on both sides; like the dualshock.

So what makes me confused here? We know the original Xbox controllers were FUCKING HUGE UNPLAYABLE BRICKS, but the 360 ones are pretty good.

Don't play with fire, kids.
I used to love the PS2 controller (minus the clickable joysticks), but when I got an Xbox 360 controller, suddenly the PS2 seems tiny to me. And I have relatively small hands. But the same issues with everything...

SNES was perfect at first, but now it feels too thin.

N64 was really confusing at first (when did I get that third hand?), but eventually it became almost second nature, except the c-buttons.

GCN was a random spattering of buttons all over the place. I never got used to it. It was like they wanted all the N64 buttons, but ran out of space.

Wiimote is odd, to say the least, but it works. The best setup in 90% of the multiple controller games on Wii for me is the Nunchuk option. I pwn on Nunchuk MKWii, and I prefer Nunchuk SSBB to GCN. The left hand is just perfect for it, with the simple joystick and two buttons, and when you don't have to point, the Wiimote can shine. Holding a Wiimote sideways, however, rarely works out too well for me. There just isn't enough options. It only really works on very simply controlled games like NSMBW, but even then I'd prefer a button or two to shaking the controller.

The worst thing about the 360 controller is the RB and RT buttons. I still have a heck of a time figuring out which is which. R1 and R2, people. Easy. As for the D-Pad? Never really use it, so no complaints. And for some reason, the non-symmetrical joysticks works out great, even though I thought it looked stupid when I first picked it up. Symmettrical thumbs ftw?

I generally prefer Xbox 360 to keyboard/mouse, with rare exceptions. Just too many options with a keyboard, and you have to remember all those weird shortcuts.

GAMECUBE~

*ahem* Anyhow, the Gamecube controller is my favorite. IMMENSELY comfortable.

I've never had an issue with Dualshocks, or Playstation controllers in general. I played around with the Playstation Move, and it just irks me more and more every time I use it.

I don't have a 360, so I can't say much for its controller. Although, and this may just be me being picky, I don't like how the buttons JUT OUT AT YOU, and feel more like bumps than buttons. The few times I've played a game on 360, I've had little trouble with the D-Pad.

N64's controller was awkward at first. But once you figured out where everything was, it got comfortable. I remember when I first got it, I put the controller down on the table/floor, and pushed the buttons with my right hand, and moved the stick with my left index finger and thumb. Made me feel Awesome.

I actually didn't mind the original Xbox controller. Clunky? Yes. Awkward? Yes. BIG? Yes. However, it did what it needed to do, with little complaints.

Xbox 360 has been one of the few controller that not just fit my big hand , feels comfortable , its responsive enough but also can last a long time example mine which were bought with the first gen xbox 360 still have them today and they finally started to malfunction but been working fine for many years ; the beating they took from playing competetive on fps , fighting games and racing games

Actually, if it's durability, I do have some complains about the 360 controllers... My first one died after only half a year use.

And that was for JUST Street Fighter 4 on the PC.
