I was searching around gamestop the other day and I saw a DS game called 999 that I have never even seen. Curious, I picked it up, went home, and played it. I have no idea how I didn't know about this, please tell me someone else here has played it! It's freaking incredible!

It's almost one-thousaaaaaaaand!!! *Shot* OW!! That hurt, you bastard!! Anyway.. Mind telling us what kind of game it is? All I know is that there is a game called 999, and that you happen to have it. I have no idea about gameplay, plot, no idea about nothing. If you could explain to us what it's all about that would be much appreciated. |

The use of the words 'persons' here pisses me off. (On the box, I mean) I know you can use both, but that word just annoys me. :B Just one of those things that annoys me for no reason. Anyway, onto the subject at hand. After a quick search, I see this seems like a game right up my alley. I didn't read too far into the story since I don't want to have anything accidentaly ruined for me, but it does sound nifty. I'll definitely look into it and see how it is. :3 Edited by SpacemanDan, May 19 2011, 10:49 PM.

Fairly sure I've given up.

I know about Baten Kaitos and it's prequel, but if you want to discuss about that, you'll want to make a new topic first. |

Deal with it

It's a mix between a visual novel and an escape puzzle. None of the puzzles are overly challenging and it's really more story based. Great read but I could only bring myself to get one ending because the though of going through the puzzles again kinda made it seem tedious. |

It's an awesome game. I got it a few weeks ago, and it was one of those games you can't put down until you beat it. A few words of advise, use a spoiler free guide after your first two or three play throughs AND DO NOT SPOIL THE ENDING. I'm not going to, but I will say that if you like a good story and don't mind reading, it's a truly awesome game. One of the best investments I made for my DS, behind The World Ends With You. The game has my highest recommendation. And guy that stopped because the puzzles were tedious the second time through, finish the game. Redoing the puzzle takes no time at all if you remember the solution. And the story is well worth it. Minor spoiler below Spoiler: click to toggle Edited by Ghoul, May 20 2011, 01:50 PM.

I'm about to play this. Friends directed me to another game (for PC) by the same director called Ever 17; a visual novel which I convinced myself to play first to try and understand what I might be getting myself into. ^^ hehhehe time for fun :D. |
