The soul of a forgotten file
|
Believe me I am not making that mistake again, did you not see my story on that? If not it's in one of my blogs. Anyways so about this other girl that supposedly likes vocaloids. I only find out about that a few months ago, right after I discovered them, and it's interest to know that an old time friend liked vocaloids before I did. Don't get confused though, I don't have a chance at her, or any girl for that matter. Sure she's quiet and kind, just like me, but even so I can't gather the guts to any sort of 'casual' talk with her. And she's a childhood friend no less! Now that's just sad, can you imagine how it is for me, not being able to talk to friends from years past? It's no wonder I had that emotional breakdown! There are only two, maybe three, people at my school I'm even semi-comfortable around and they're not even around half the time! That's right, even my best friends ignore me. -sigh- They've all changed since high school started, even I've changed. What I wouldn't do to go back to the old days.... Okay I feel another outburst coming along, so I better stop. (boy, I do more ranting in here than anywhere else. Man, I feel awkward now.) |

I used to think that too. It's not true. You've got a shot with her unless she already has a boyfriend. And you definitely have a shot at someone else too. You just need to find the right one. On the other hand, you're in high school. No need to rush out and start dating someone. It's true: not everyone dates in high school. You're not hated or unlovable if you don't find the right person in high school. Or college. Just keep on keepin' on. |

I agree with JB and I too am in high school, in almost the same situation. I have probably a giant crush on a very smart girl in my grade. Even though, I've been wanting to say my feelings, I've never had enough convidence to actually try to see whether or not I could even handle the responce. Even though she's probably out-of-my-league, I still really want to tell her everything. I mean, I tried before, but... that was merely a letter. Sure she hugged me and told me that action was sweet, but..., I still really didn't want to make her nervous about me. I mean, she literally said to me that she was extremely nervous about having another boyfriend due to misfortune with her last one. However, still we're almost complete opposites. She's a vegetarian. I love meat. She's a liberal. I'm a conservative. And even though JB said that I shouldn't worry about it, personally, the feeling of nervousness is eating me alive and I just want to tell her. I just want to be there for her. I guess I can let out some steam here and at least tell you guys her name... Her name's Chrissy Long, the valedictorian of my grade. I feel like I do love her, but I don't to let all of that overwelm anyone, especially her. I want to let her be free instead of just close her in my box of emotions... ...I just I'll try to tell her next period, but I'm as nervous as all hell... Please wish me luck.

Bro, I would show her that post. ![]() Conservative vs Liberal? Don't worry about it. A couple of my friends have parents with completely opposite political views. Meat-loving vs vegetarian? My wifey was a pescatarian (vegetarian plus fish) for a bit. Was a bit trying, no doubt, but as long as she's not combative with her views, she should allow you to eat meat around her. You can live with someone like that easy enough. Minor worries, really. In all, what matters is how you guys feel about each other. Go for it. |

Probably the simplest, but best advice anyone could give. Don't worry, Candy. You're a good guy, and I'm sure you could have any girl you set your eyes on if you wanna be with her. For real. Not just for nookie. ![]() Edited by dead account, Feb 22 2012, 03:19 PM.

^ This. You'll get your feelings across much better, and she'll get to see how sincere you are in the first place. |

-Sigh- why do I feel like the youngest person on the forum? Oh wait. I prolly AM. Anyways, you really do seem to care for this girl, and if all you can do is be her friend, then do your best at that! Who said you can't love your friends? |
