Life? Stable? Ha! Since when?

Life's never stable, it can change at any moment and always when you least expect. It's just something we all have to cope with.
Personally, I quite enjoy the unexpected turns. It adds thrill to what would otherwise be boring, ya know?

Say that to someone who has a rather stable life. :P

Once you get out of college, things settle down a bit. Especially once you find a job. By then, it's almost too late to be looking for someone to share your future with (at least around here where there aren't many single ladies who aren't absolute tramps....)

Yeah, life can be stable, it's just that I'm surrounded by people that seem to want everything to play out like it does on the overblown "Reality" shows. :-/

Besides, I think it's slightly more enjoyable to talk to her now that we aren't dating though, I don't feel pressured to incorporate some sort of "I love you too" into everything I do, and I'm glad about that.

The main reason I broke up with her though is just because of that, this was basically my first relationship, and the conditions and stress from it drove me insane. I couldn't take everyone acting like I was obligated to do all this stuff, when I myself have a life. And that basically all boils down to the fact that I'm too careless to sustain a relationship right now.

Oh so you think life is stable, you're just lucky. Me, on the other hand, not so lucky.

Trust me, don't get comfortable. No matter how stable life may seem, it CAN change at ANY moment.
I know from experience, and being unprepared is the worst thing you can do. My grandmother's death for instance, it came so suddenly one day and it was the most unexpecting thing to ever happen to me. While I've learned coped with it, it nearly had me for the longest time. Don't let it happen to you. I'd hate to see it.

Well that's a little harsh... I dunno. I don't think you necessarily have to find a girl in college, or at any time really. Although you most certainly can.

You're right Ghoul, but around here, the only single girls are either old, lesbian, single on purpose, or tramps. Everyone else moves away. For good reason.

Then you should move. Or go on a dating site [NOT FACEBOOK]. That's my two cents. Me? I'll just take what i get. Everything else I've had was ripped away from me. Hopefully my next relationship will last.

Lucky for me, I already found a girl (and married her), so no need to move. Yet.
