I've heard that Fatal Frame was voted the most scariest game of all time.

A Fatal Frame LET'S PLAY by a very funny man still managed to be scary. In fact, at one point in a bonus video, a ghost caught him off guard and he fell out of his chair.

Back on the subject of Creepers, has anyone ever run into a Super Creeper? Those bastards are Creepers charged by lightning in thunder storms, and they glow blue. That's not all, they make BIGGER EXPLOSIONS. And guess what? No matter what the difficulty, they're INSTANT KILL! THAT is scary!

Never heard of them. OH CRAP THEY EXIST!

Anyways, it's awesome that Wool agrees with me.

The one that comes to mind is Resident Evil 4 out of what I've played. I know it's not the scariest game, but it certainly kept me on edge the entire time. I still flinch whenever I hear a chainsaw...

Another that I think should be scary, and I own but barely played is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Psychological horror.

Lets see, i would say Nightmare House 2 mod for Half-life 2, Which can scare the shit out of you the whole way (until you run into the cops, then its just plain sully and filled with meme's)

Accurate representation of my internet self. Don't like it? I don't aim to please you.
...Definitely Fatal Frame 1 or 2.

Us guys back in the day held an overnight gaming session and one of our friends went through Fatal Frame 1... with the lights turned off and all 3 of us eating chips and drinking soda. One spook later, we all got spooked.

Good times. Gooooood times.

Yeah, I played Resident Evil 4. Still not as bad as Fatal Frame 1 and 2 though. Dang I need a good avatar, I can draw well if I have a good timeframe but...

At page one Minecraft is mentioned. While it can be scary when you're a beginner and starting for the first time, the more you learn about it, the less afraid you become and eventually you'll find yourself in a situation like this: "Ho hum, walking around a corner. I hear footsteps? Then wait... ...No mob sounds, so it's creepers." 'Then you charge out from the corner shooting arrows at them so they don't get a chance to explode, the end.' So in the end, it has that factor of 'fear of the unknown', which is nice, but in the end it's not much of a horror game. Except maybe for the Nether, that place is both dangerous and frightening, even to Minecraft veterans.

A few games come to mind that have startled me even though I was just watching them on youtube, for example Clock Tower. (The first part is the best, the second game is well, not that well done, and the third is pretty much retarded.) Just goes to show that a game doesn't need high quality sound or graphics if it uses well what it can do.

Edit: So I see that I used 'in the end' a lot. My apologies, English is not my main language.

Fairly sure I've given up.
...>_>...

Find me silly.. but.. the one game that gave me most creeps in the past?

Doom.

Nowadays? Not so much. I laugh at Dead Space' moments. They're hilarious when your guy dies. :D
