Fairly sure I've given up.
So, Ubisoft's presentation reveal somethin' more about Revelations?

Hell if I know, I'll be rewatching the Sony and Ubisoft press conferences later today. Ubisoft and Sony just had the blandest press conferences. It couldn't have been made better, even if all of a sudden they jumped out and started giving free cars to people.

New Nintendo system. Forget Zelda HD. I want it. Now.

We talking about the Wii U? I dunno... that sounds like an extra peripheral that's more or less unnecessary and probably expensive >.>

Confirmed for doki-doki tier.
We were having a conversation about it in the Skype chat.

Personal views incoming:
I didn't like it.
Nintendo is just being Nintendo.
This thing was hyped up so much,
and I was prepared for something to bomb.
-and it wasn't as bad as I thought - Just not good either.

The Wii U just seems so boring, along with a boring name.
And it also proves that Nintendo has seemingly "crossed the line"
into complete catering to "The casuals"

Those are pretty much my petty gripes. If someone wants me to elaborate more, I can.
I also didn't like the fact that Reggie said, in an interview with Adam Sessler and Kevin Pareira,
That the price is set, but "can be saved for another day."
It's a number. Say it.

I agree with most of what Milk said. I was expecting Wii 2 or Wii HD, not Wii U. The letter U makes me think of University, like with iTunes U, a service I rarely use.

I wanted a console I could play Final Fantasy on (or something of similar graphics capability). Not an oversized Game Boy.

I think its not for casuals... Not any more than Kinect. (ugh) I like it. I've been a Nintendo gamer since forever. This seems more Gamecube than Wii. I'd change the color (I hate Apple white) and the name, but I understand the latter. All in all, I'm impressed.

And it's HD. I think Final Fantasy would work well on it; I don't know where you got that idea JB...

How is it more Gamecube at all?
It's just a piece of hardware with another gimmick controller.
Wii.
Yes, this time the hardware is MUCH stronger, but it's still completely gimmick based.
It's casual. It's got casual written all over it. It couldn't be more casual oriented even if it had a tattoo reading: Casual Play.
Even the NAME was inspired by casuals.
Reggie said so himself.

I don't think it's a bad system, not at all!
It's just...not interesting in the slightest.
As I said, this is just Nintendo being Nintendo.
Being boringly "innovative"
and being horrible at naming consoles now-a-days.
