Video Spoiler: click to toggle I seriously love the phantasy star series, and I'm glad PSO is getting a sequel. So, anyone else getting this when it comes out?

Depends if I have money for a subscription. I loved the original... |

I hope they'll make it like PSU JP, where you can play with a free(but limited) account. If they make it completely F2P, sega would be my new favorite. |

http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187376 Lots of info here... I got into this big time, now that I've seen some of the character concept art. It sucks. I want it to be good and for them to take their time, but I want it in my hand now... >_> And that Alpha gameplay looks really fun... >_> Edited by Ghoul, Aug 19 2011, 05:48 PM.

I really REALLY wish I was in alpha...Oh well. I saw some gameplay yesterday and was very impressed, and this is just alpha! Hmm, I hope SEGA keeps this up. |

It seems like specs are being kept reasonable, and I'm digging the new style for Rangers. Guns weren't my favorite in PSO (I was usually a Hu or Fo), but this seems like a welcome addition. I'm curious how they're going to balance the classes. I'm seeing lots of enemies, which I assume is to try to take some room away from Rangers, but Forces seem a bit more melee oriented/less nuke oriented, which could be good or bad. Still it's looking good. I wonder why they never rereleased the original PSO on PSN for 10 bucks plus a small fee per month subscription. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard... |

SEGA of Japan can do that easily, if it were not for the fact that they're busy with PSO2 and what not. SEGA of America on the other hand isn't as faithful to the PS series. Although it would be a good idea, you've got to think about how many people would be willing to re-buy it and pay for a subscription when there are servers like SCTHack around. It's a risk SoA isn't willing to take, and I don't blame them. I'd just be satisfied with an official announcement for PSO2's release in America. I highly doubt they would pass this up. |

I guess. I wonder what's taking them so long to make it officially coming here... How hard would it be, seriously... >_> But I digress. Are classes changeable like PSU or fixed like PSO? I haven't been able to tell... |

From what I can tell, they are fixed like PSO. I'm going by what I've seen in the character creation. |
