More than likely Chie. Her options, as well as playstyle are better imo. Lockdown with 5DD and 2DD are too damn-good. -And: Character loyalty~<3 Aigis is poop when she's in normal mode. Orgia Mode is amazing for mixups, but her lockdown isn't all that good. -I'm still gonna learn her as an alt, but her playstyle overall options just aren't there. Maybe if Orgia lasted for a another 5 seconds... |

Kay. I wanna know a general date. -From everyone who has the PS3 copy. I'm planning a Lobby. A General Training Lobby. -This lobby is to help everyone get more accustomed to the game as well as character matchups. I want to use this game for the purpose I bought it: -To help teach people how to actually play fighters. This means absolutely NO Auto-Combos! I want you all to learn that fighters are more than AAAAA, and actually about matchups and options. -This doesn't have to be soon, but I do want it to be a day that EVERYONE is fine with. --I know, many of us have work, or school, or both! Which is why I want to schedule this first. Let me at least know if you're interested before you go scouring for schedules. Edited by Milk, Sep 12 2012, 07:53 PM.

I'm working away from autocombos, although I don't see the big deal about using them... In theory, you should get destroyed by a decent player if you autocombo since you're being predictable, and even then, the autocombo intentionally leaves damage on the table. Like, I know for instance that Labrys's autocombo could do more damage if instead of finishing the combo with the autocombo, which uses the C version of the move, if you use the D version, you'll do an pretty significant increase in damage. Autocombo is, in the end, a crutch, and not all that useful of one. It's a way to level the playing field slightly by reducing the barrier to entry for most players, while allowing people that really want to learn a distinct advantage in the long run. If you lose to a player autocomboing, it's your fault in the end, and if you win by autocomboing, generally, a) your opponent wasn't all that good or b) you're really good at guarding and picking your spots, which is a huge skill. Weekends are your best bet for me, but even then... I'm one hell of a busy guy. Edited by Ghoul, Sep 12 2012, 08:26 PM.

I'm usually pretty open on the weekends as well, but if you want a specific day during the week, Sunday is best. |

This is why I don't want Renda-Combos. -They're absolutely useless. As you stated, they're a crutch. -As the only "useful" part is the 1-2-3 since it gives you a meter + Burst boost. --And even then, it's not work prorating your combo by over 75% for that tiny-ass bit of meter. I'm trying to teach people how to approach the game, as well as character matchups. Simply running AAAAA all the time is not only unsafe but lazy. Edited by Milk, Sep 12 2012, 08:33 PM.

Labrys doesn't seem to have a wide variety of moves, but she's fun to play. c: I like Chie and Yukiko, too. |

She pretty-much has the same number of moves everyone else does. -It's just her goal is different that many of the other characters. Labby wants to constantly be IN. She wants to level-up her axe to red as fast as possible, which means staying on the offensive. -The problem is her normals are terribly slow, so a Labby player has to work with frame-traps. You have to learn a lot of ways to make the opponent block (Or obviously: get hit) to work with her. -Find different ways to mix-up your approach and your opponent at the same time. |
