The Impossible Scientist!
E. Sighing, fuzzy door

You stand and listen to the noise coming from behind each door, mystified by what could be behind them. Each is giving off a strange noise, but the one that grabs your attention the most is the door to your immediate left. Approaching the door, you press your ear to the door, and listen carefully.

"What's wrong?" Leanne asks, as she approaches the door. You signal for her to listen, as you step back to give her room.

"...What? But... but that sounds like someone's tuning a TV! That's...what?" Leanne spluttered, as she stepped back from the door, looking confused.

You both stand there, staring at the door for a moment, before nodding to each other. Striding towards the door, you fling it open, and step inside. The door slams shut behind you...

At first, the room was pitch black. You stumble around, trying to find a light source. Suddenly, you bump straight into someone, falling backwards. As you pull yourself to your feet, you apologise to Leanne, and turn to continue searching.

"Leanne? Do I look like a leanne to you?"

You stop instantly, frozen with fear. That certainly wasn't a voice you knew...

Suddenly, the room was flooded with a blinding white light. You shield your eyes for a moment, as they try to adjust to the new light source.

The room you stumbled into seemed to be a chamber of some sort, with pure white walls on every side, and was completely empty, except for a strange grey substance on the wall at the far end, and a single chair. You stared at the scene for a moment, almost hypnotised by it, before realising that the stuff on the wall was the source of the noise.

Tearing your eyes away from the scene, your look over to the person you had walked into. They were wearing what appeared to be draped in elegant, pure black robes, that reached down to her feet. Her hair, which was the purest white, reached roughly half way down her back, and swayed freely when she moved. Though the part that was grabbing your attention the most was that not only did she have burning red eyes, but that she was also standing behind a large pile of knives...

"I'm only here for a while, so let's get this over with, shall we?" sighed the mysterious woman, before stepping back, and... tap dancing? You look across at Leanne, hoping for an explanation, but she looks just as confused as you.

Suddenly, the woman stamped forward, sending one of the knives flying straight at you! You manage to duck, as the knife flies past you, lodging itself firmly in the wall. You look back at the woman, to see a maniacal grin on her face, as she dances faster and faster. You watch in horror, as the knives start to move and quiver, before raising up into the air.

You turn to run to the door, hoping to escape, only to be greeted by a blank wall. You stare at it for a moment, before realising that the door had vanished, sealing your fate. You turn to look at Leanne, who was physically shaking, as she looked back at the woman.

Suddenly, a loud whooshing sound filled the air, shortly follow by a noise you knew all too well. Looking down, you release that one of the knives had wedged itself into your stomach, and was still pushing. You try to pull the knife out, but it won't budge.

A second whooshing is heard, followed by thud, as the knife pins your shoulder to the wall behind you. You scream, as the knife seems push harder and harder against your shoulder, as if it was trying to break it. You look up at the mysterious woman, as she continues to dance, and laugh at your misfortune.

The last thing you remember is looking over at Leanne, as she screamed for the woman to stop, followed by a final whooshing sound. You turn to look at towards the noise, just in time for a third and final knife to shoot forward, hitting you directly between the eyes, pinning your head firmly to the wall...

Once all the knives had been used, the mysterious woman stamped forward one last time, ending her dance. Looking round the once white room, she smiled to herself.

"There, that's better. I think red suits this room more much more than that dull white did..."

She turned towards the grey substance behind her, as it opened wider. She stepped into it, before glancing back into the room, and laughing.

"That was TOTALLY worth it!"

BAD ENDING

A. Cracking, popping door
B. Whirling, whistling door
C. Crackling, buzzing door
D. Clanking, grinding door
E. Sighing, fuzzy door

I'd like to apologise to G.o.D for the LOOOONG delay on this, and I hope he's happy with this. (Yes, I know he's left, it's just incase he see's this in the future/someone links it to him)

Yeah, G.o.D had a cameo roll. If you want to know why, go back and read the CYOA again. It's in there :P

The Impossible Scientist!
C. Crackling, buzzing door

You stand and listen to the noise coming from behind each door, mystified by what could be behind them. Each is giving off a strange noise, but the one that grabs your attention the most is the door to your immediate right.

You approach the door, listening carefully to the noise. It was strange, you were sure you'd heard it somewhere before...

"...What do you think is behind it?" Leanne asks you, as she walks up beside you, and stares at the door.

You stand there for a minute, just staring at the door, before suddenly rushing forward, and barging through it. On the other side, you are greeted by something you were not expecting...

You seemed to have barged your way into one of the labs, but there is something odd about this lab. Where as the labs are generally white washed, with a basic, grey floor, the walls of this lab seemed to be clean, reflective silver, and the floor was a deep, shining black.

To your right, you notice a variety of scanners, and screens, and strange machines, all flickering, crackling, and bleeping. In the middle of the wall was a large, thick looking spherical door, which was covered in seemingly hundreds of beams and bolts.

You stare at the door, wondering how to get through, when you hear a sudden crackling noise. Spinning round, you notice a new door, which appears to be hanging off it's hinges. You stand and stare for a moment, in disbelief. You KNOW that door! Holding your breath, you dart over to the door, and shoot through it...

...You are immediately greeted by a shattered window, which stretches all the way down the hall. From the window, you can see an all too familiar view. A sky line, filled with various buildings, of all different heights and styles. Behind them, you can see the sun rising over an expanse of green fields and trees, and a large lake...

You spin round, and immediately notice a shattered monitor, leaking it's wires out onto the floor, and a partially blown up scanner, electricity buzzing around the exposed circuitry...

"...But, this is the top floor! How did we get here?" Leanne exclaimed, as she stepped out of the door, and looked around.

Before you could answer, you heard a voice echoing through the hall.

"I must say, I never thought you'd survive long enough to get here!" the voice sneered, as the two of you look around, trying to find the source.

"Oh, what's wrong? Can't you see me? Well, there's a simple answer to that..."

As the voice echoes, you realise that the noise from before had stopped, replaced by a strange grinding sound, followed by a loud thud.

"Come along then, come and meet me... or run away, and never look back" the voice told you, as a familiar whirring was heard. The lift?

You stood, and stared out the window for a moment, the wind rustling your hair. Could you really leave? Looking across at Leanne, you see her staring at the lift, before looking back at you.

"...What should we do?" she asked, obviously worried about the situation...

A. Go and meet the voice
B. Take the lift, and leave
C. Send Leanne out, and head in alone

SHIT! The most deadliest choice.. WAS THE CORRECT ONE?! :<

Okay, then I vote A. Surely meeting the voice will get them killed... right? D:
