Star of the Show

@JB: Seeing as the drawing is called "Enderlass", and is based off of the Enderman/Slenderman, it makes sense for the character to have arms and legs longer than normal. |

Damn, I love both your styles. That last one is a nice mixed media piece, Kai. @Aero: Unless you intended to make the arms very short, they should be able to reach at least to the knees, length wise, mostly by the fingers. The arm lenght from shoulder from to elbow is just perfect though. Neck is really thick for her body type, needs to be slimmed down a bit especially to give her a more effeminate look. Hands are fine but may still need a bit more work on them, but honestly, hands are the hardest part to get right for any artist. So no need to worry to much if you can't get them just right. Considering you went for a cute yet creepy bug eyes and simple face style, the head is just fine as is. And now to drop my small load; C-Team Rock On! Speedy! Wario World Shift

I tried to get that block-ish feel for the feet, just to reference to Minecraft. And the legs are also a reference to Minecraft Endermen, like I said in my previous post. And yeah... Circle heads XD That's my style! I've been trying to draw people so they actually have a jaw, recently... ![]() Damn... Ninja'd by another critique >>; *quietly looks at Enderlass in sketchook* Ah yeah, the arms seem short because of the leg length. I've noticed that arms go down to the knees, and I've been trying to do that recently. It didn't really work for this drawing though... Wait, does that mean I shoulda made her arms longer, even though the legs were what I was trying to accentuate? And about that left hand... I think the pinkie was lost in the shading of the Ender Pearl. The right hand... Yeah, it's pretty bad. *waits for when no one is looking and slims down the neck* >__> <__< >__> Didn't mean to make it that thick... Edited by AeroA113, Aug 16 2012, 05:38 PM.

The Embodiment of Earth

The jaw is actually what ends up messing me up the most whenever I draw. Usually I can get everything else done relatively well... Then I get to the jaw, and I'm all, "Do I narrow it? Should it round at the center? What about point?" I get this most whenever I draw anything female. Gaia can have a rather large jaw, and I take that for granted. I draw my two female OC's... Sometimes they end up looking manly, and I have to abandon the drawing entirely. I'll end up redrawing the face like... 5 times until I get that jaw PERFECT. It's especially difficult for me to try and do so in profile shots, though I'm okay with angled. Edited by Gaia, Aug 17 2012, 09:55 AM.

I know them feels, Gaia. I know them feels... Sometimes I draw the head too small, but it's PERFECT. I don't wanna redraw the body, so I have to erase the head. Then it ends up being really bad ;~;

Random~

I always redraw the head to match the body... Always. Sometimes I have trouble getting the size of the eyes right. |
