I want to go soo badly you have no idea, but I can't because I have no means of travel. It's so close by, though! Like, just a few hours' drive from where I live. I'd have to talk to my parents about taking me, and I doubt they would want to drive all that way just for me to go to some concert. I lack the money right now to buy the tickets anyways.

I've been getting back into Vocaloid hard lately after being out of the loop with it for a few years now, I think? Will be lurking this thread hard for things to listen to anyway, heheh. Also whaaaaaaa Miku Expo? I wish I could go to something like that, but alas, I'm FAR too far away for that. (Miku needs to cross the border.)

ALYS is no longer going to be considered a Vocaloid! D: Voxwave, the company team developing ALYS, has switched programs to work with, so instead of Vocaloid, they will be working with CeVIO Creative Studio. Alys will be able to sing and speak using this. Regardless, she won't be called Vocaloid Alys anymore. More info can be found on the Voxwave Facebook. Edited by Current, Jul 15 2014, 04:10 PM.

So, I've picked up an obsession on the Kagerou Project's songs. My favorites are The songs are all originally sung by IA, but I absolutely adore Yuikonnu's covers. I recommend watching Mekakucity, but that's for another topic~ But a handful of non-Kagerou songs that I've picked up are These songs manage to make my eyes foggy whenever I listen to them whenever I listen to them (when you read the lyrics of course). Track especially holds a special place in my heart because the video for it references three other Luka songs. Track's Luka references The way I choose to interpret it is that there is an overarching theme with these songs: Overcoming personal flaws. Double Lariat deals with an inferiority complex, Toeto deals with social anxiety, No Logic deals with focusing too hard on grades and school. Tracks is... Track. So yeh, sans the Kagerou songs, they all have a certain special meaning to me. Happy listening~ I highly suggest popping them open to YouTube if you wanna read the lyrics. UM. SO. SOMEHOW I FAILED TO NOTICE THIS TOPIC. I am a fan of Vocaloid to the point where I'm considering to host a weekly show about it on my uni's student radio. I'm not even kidding. I doubt I'd find a co-host though OTL My tastes fluctuate quite a bit, depending on the moment. Right now, I'm listening to The Fox's Wedding (Miku & Gumi) and Facebook Indulgent Girl (Gumi), and I may or may not have an RP blog about a character extracted from one of the songs. The multi-Vocaloid works that Hitoshizuku-P, Yama△ and Suzunosuke work on get me every time. Also I just realized the last part of the Bad ∞ End ∞ Night series was just released like two days ago?!?! God. Must listen. Right now. Edited by Ash, Sep 13 2014, 10:23 AM.

I've slowed down on my Vocaloid craze due to Youtube deleting most of my favorite reprinters. I still keep an eye on my favorite producers, however... cosMo, Pinocchio, and 40m... |

Oh. Oh. Oh. News. I totally forgot about putting this here. I'm actually gonna start a weekly Vocaloid radio show on my university's student radio. It's an online radio, so you can just tune in and listen to the show through its page. I'm planning things such as a news section, producer features, Weekly Vocaloid Ranking review, and a talk show segment to discuss weekly topics. If anyone is interested in listening to it, I'll put the link here. If you don't catch the live broadcast on Mondays, you can always listen to it later on their mixcloud account. Any further involvement would be very appreciated, haha. EDIT: The show is gonna be every Monday at 6 PM GMT. Starting today. Ask me for the link if you're interested.
