Things were going so much better, but then it all just came back in one swift blow like nothing had even changed. I still see him, but it hasn't gotten better since.
Tell him. Everything. That is all.

That'll take... A really long time.

For two reasons: one, I'm yet to obtain the courage for such a thing, and two, it's a LOT to talk about.
But I'll do my best!

It'll be alright. It might take a while, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Also, I don't have anything to rant about.

Except for, ya know, maybe some annoying people at school, but eh, that's normal. Going back into my corner now .___.

Casual joking conversation with my friend, that start out with "I-It's not like I WANT you to feel important, or anything..." and "I-It's not like I WANT to date you, or anything..." turned to an emotional drama about my childhood and the biggest mistakes of my life.

I don't know if I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something, but dang I was so pissed off my first 2 classes. In first hour, we were supposed to read a short story that was only 6 pages long, but instead of us reading it by ourselves logically while annotating and answering the questions she gave us, we instead had to do this stupid 'popcorn reading' crap and only got through 1 page! I was so angry at how that happened, the people read really slow and eventually I just said 'screw it, no one in this class will call me out anyways' and started reading ahead, and I'm almost 3 pages AHEAD of the class. I guess it was because she thought it was a 'difficult read', but really, I found it easier than some of the stuff I had to read in early Middle School. Heck the only word I was confused on was 'veldt'.

In Geometry, I was just angry cause I was having stomach pains and people wouldn't just be quiet for awhile. I'm just so glad that my group doesn't do the whole 'lol let's be a group and solve really easy problems in a difficult way' unless we have to. And I think this is the only class I've ever seen the stupid invention of a 'group quiz'. Really? You're going to share your answers out loud so then your group and obviously others can hear so then they can just copy your answers and vice versa? That isn't even a quiz, they should just call it 'a discussion on the topic without a teacher and not getting off track or you'll get an F on your paper'.

As you can tell, I have a hatred for 'group learning'. I'm sorry, but that kind of stuff just doesn't help me learn, in fact I learn less when I'm with groups. I'm much more of a solo learner, and I WISH our teachers would realize that hey, although group work is needed in a curricular, you need to have more solo lessons, heck even partner work would be fine. Maybe it's just that I'm Introverted in an Extrovert world and people just can't fathom the idea of working alone :/

Yes it will. But you need to talk to your psychiatrist about literally EVERYTHING that bothers you, even if it's something you don't want to tell him. Otherwise, he simply cannot help you as much. I can go talk to anyone about my day. That doesn't help.

I agree with you 110%. I hate group work so much! I love working by myself. I would always be a grump with group work, until this recent year. I was in a Computer Science (And this teacher is amazing) and he said something that truly changed my perspective. "I know most of you aren't a fan of working together, but in the business enviorment, you have to work with others sometimes to fix your mistakes. That's why there'll be some group projects." I found this made me hate group work a lot less. If you think of it as preparing you for the real world, would you hate it as much Michiyo?

This is LONG overdue, I haven't ranted in quite while and now the dam has broken.

Okay, for the past month or so, my internet has been a huge bitch to me. Anytime someone makes or answers a phone call my internet decides to be a fucking bastard and drop on me. Now, if they were short phone calls I wouldn't mind, but most phone calls here last from 30 minutes to 40. The fun thing is that this always happens when I'm working on something important and I need internet to work on it. We've already had two repairmen over, and it seemed like it was fixed too, but the next day it's as if NOTHING WAS FUCKING FIXED. It's not the computers or the router or the connection, IT'S THE GOD DAMN PHONE LINE. And now I have to wait even longer for another opening, case andpoint, I am so close to switching from fucking AT&T to Comcast for internet, and I don't exactly have the commodity of funds to do so. There's a very simple solution, but I have to wait and I do not have the patience for something so simple. If it can't be fixed, then he'll just have to suck it up and freaking change the internet type. I'm done ranting now, I have to get ready for something, so arrivederci.

Depends, Nova. Although it is true that a lot of occupations WILL require one to work in groups (like most CompSci professions), there are plenty that do not. My job is sorta a bit of both. I actually like group work with the right people. A group project with 20 people or so can get REALLY frustrating though.
