I prefer the sort of group work that gives you the freedom to work on your own but with the ability to consult others when you're stuck on something and with intermediary audits to check each other's work. But in the end it boils down to who you're working with. @discord As far as I'm aware we don't encourage 'free' downloading around here. But to answer your question, they're probably rar files but I can't really say for sure due to lack of information. |

Popcorn reading. Group quizzes. Bad group work things. What Rescla said. Some business shtuff. Good group work. Honestly, I HATE popcorn reading. Most people in my english classes are usually illiterate Neanderthals who find it necessary to read at the speed of a kindergartner. I swear, I took the same amount of time to read the damn book that it took a class to read one chapter. |

But with a job, I'd get to know these people in groups much easier. I have issues with not being able to talk to someone well unless I've known them for a long time or if it's over the internet. And plus it makes me feel like I have to force myself to work in something that makes me slightly uncomfortable, and I do that enough by going to school and literally forcing myself to talk and socialize. I feel like I should be able to add more to this sentence, but I just can't think of anything.
I like this for some subjects, but most of the time I like figuring out what I did wrong myself, sometimes it seems I can do this faster without a group than with one. Then again, I do a ton of problem solving daily and like to attempt to do difficult problems in my head, whether it be school related or not. I agree with the last part, there are just some people I just can't work with no matter how much I try. |

This actually isn't true. A) You'll almost definitely get to know your classmates better than your work colleagues, even if you only have a few classes with your classmates. Even so, you say you need to spend a lot of time with people in order to talk to them? What about your first week at work? You can't just say I'm not going to work with everyone because I don't know them well. B) You're probably going to have to deal with people you rarely talk to ever. A lot of the people I work with are not actually INSIDE the company. Some of them are people we work for, and some of those clients are extremely rude at times. It's pretty difficult to "get to know" people like that. Sure, perhaps the line of work you choose will be different, but nearly every line of work has people that you work for. Whether it be retail, legal, accounting, engineering, you will HAVE to interact with people you don't want to work with. And that is why they have group work. |

I hate working in groups. I always get distracted! Especially if the group is of people I HATE. That's what happens all the time though; people I don't know, people I hate, people who hate me. But when I'm with my friends, I seem to just start talking about random crap somehow! I prefer to work alone and in QUIET. Not when everybody around me is BLATHERING to one another about useless shit like, "Oh god, did you see the football game?" "We had much fun at volleyball!" "Ugh, that girl's a bitch." "Shut up!" "Isn't Mr. Nesvold mean?" and so on, and so forth. Dear everyone in my grade, PLEASE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ONCE INSTEAD OF GOSSIPING. ~Someone who hates you

*Sigh* My classmates in Japanese are terrible. I've honestly had it up to this point. They make fun of the teacher, the material, and they always ALWAYS talk. It's extremely irritating when I'm, like, serious about learning Japanese. They never pay attention in class and then complain the material is too hard. I'M PAYING ATTENTION IN CLASS IN THIS CRUD IS EASY. I'm barely putting effort into the class and it's like a breeze. People sometimes. |

The soul of a forgotten file

I am so irritated right now I just wanna scream. As if today could not get any worse, I gotta deal with the crap from other people's lives. It's their problem, why do I have to be effected by it? Bah! I'm at the end of my thread here, they practically expect me to solve their issues for them! They are like a little freaking kid that knows jack all about how the world works. I have never been in such a conflicting situation before! They have these.... feelings for me, I just want them to be my friend, but how can I do that knowing that all this time that they're.... not straight- and consequently feel this way towards me. I am not a homophobe by any means, but if my best friend is gonna open up and say they have feelings for me, you can BET that I am gonna freak the crap out. I can never look at them the same way again. Guh. Buh. -headdesk- jijdwoiajdoiwajlddwakd NOW WHAT AM SUPPOSED TO DO?! |
