To me, when they constantly make sequels like that, it feels like they're only doing it for the money.
Pardon me, but.. DUH?

I will have to agree with Speedy, because, y'know, that's kinda how a business works. Besides, if they don't make money, they can't make more movies.

You guys clearly did not get what I meant by that. I'll give you a hint: ONLY, as in only for the money part of it, not the pleasing fans part.

Basically what I'm saying is they're letting the money get to their heads and going overboard with it.

Actually, I knew precisely what you meant and my comment doesn't change at all.

Both Dreamworks and Disney have long passed the stage of 'doing it for the fans', and are only paying attention to the fans when they need to have ideas to gain more money.

Don't play with fire, kids.
The world works on money. No one cares about the fans, just the money. When they say they care about the fans, what they mean is they care about the fans' money.

... You do realize that's also implying that Naka doesn't care about us and only cares about the money he earns from his YouTube partnership, right?

And everyone knows that not true.

Gah. Y'know, we do this thing in Trollwood called "fire-up buddies". Basically, it's like secret Santa, and you get your person a gift at every show. I really hate it sometimes because I have to either constantly spend money, or ask my mom to buy things. It gets really annoying after a while, and I feel really bad sometimes. Some people get really amazing gifts, and it just makes me feel terrible because I don't often make everything too fancy. Look, it's really nice to get gifts for shows, but I just hate that I have to bother my mom to buy things when I'm flat broke. I do like getting to drive around town to get everything with my mom, but she can get pretty annoyed when she knows that I haven't gotten my fub (that's what we call our fire-up buddy) anything. It makes her feel like she's not doing enough for me, and that just makes me feel even worse. Fire-up buddies is a good idea, really, but I must say that it gets on my nerves a lot knowing that I have a deadline to get him something.

I tried my darndest to avoid drawing him something as to not give myself away, but I didn't have anything for him for the past three days last week, so I had to draw him some stuff. It seemed pathetic to the things other people had gotten. I know we don't have to do anything extravegant, but still. I would like to do something nice for them, and I know getting a drawing of yourself can be pretty neat, but I want to do more than JUST that. We went shopping today and got a whole bunch of stuff for the last week of the production, so I'm covered now, but... gah, it'll be much nicer next year when I hopefully have a job and can drive >_>

Dear former journal roleplaying "friends",

If you have an issue with me, PLEASE tell me straight out. Don't wait a month when I supposedly "blow up" to tell me you have an issue with me. I asked you to tell me and you said "no," and to me that's a warning flag saying 'Hey! This is gonna end soon because I'm gonna lie to you outright.' And giving me that whole "I used to be just like you" speech? Nice touch... If I hadn't heard it before.

Also don't even start telling me the excuses of "I use mobile, I missed it" or "200+ tag emails a day." No! I do mobile myself and I've NEVER missed anything. And when you've said at least twice that you don't read/delete most if not ALL of the tag emails, that makes me highly suspicious of you. Yes, you have lives outside of the internet. I do, too. But at least I make sure to ANSWER MY TAGS or reply to posts that I can.

Don't even start on that crap of "we didn't even see your fiance wanting to play" when she blatantly put up links for you guys IN YOUR OWN POSTS so that you could see them. She's insecure about roleplaying as it is and she needed a boost in her character's voice. You blatantly ignored her and when ONE of you replied to her, it was ONCE - not to mention that it wasn't even setting the scene when with the characters between the three of you, you do a full set up and a MINIMUM of 30 or 40 tags. And the three of you were being very cliquish with your RPing, your pairings being between the three of you and RARELY doing ANYTHING with me or her, only throwing the odd one out our way to play.

Don't put all the blame on me when you're equally to blame. Not only that, but don't do a 3 against 1 on me. No. Not kosher at all. It ticks me off and I hate it when people corner me, don't give me a chance to defend myself and when I call them out they call bull when EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I say to you is TRUE. Especially when I've stepped out to try and play with you like you say I didn't and you. Did. Nothing.

Because of you three journal RPers, all the fun I had journal RPing is gone. Congratulations. I hope you're happy.

Have fun and have a nice life.

Jerks.

P.S. Act. Your. Fooging. Age. Especially when one of you is almost 30.

[[Small side note: I do still forum RP. It's just I no longer do journal RP. They are actually quite different.]]

Couple of things about a swap meet.

1) If you hold something like this, don't tell some random worker. ALWAYS tell the manager/owner/general manager/etc. that you are going to have an event like this. This way it's not so crazy for them.

2) Clean up after yourself. Don't leave a mess behind. It makes the business more inclined to want to do more events such as this.

3) Do not stray far from your item area or go to the swap meet with a friend. You'd be less likely to lose something that you just might wanna keep

4) Don't sell items as "pre-owned/worn" when they still have tags on them. While it gives a little bit cheaper price, it's still bad form.

and in the same lines as the last one

5) Do NOT sell items for a business while at a SWAP MEET. It's in bad taste and it makes everyone feel bad. You/Your business gets all their money when they were trying to earn cash themselves for whatever they might be doing.

This should be common knowledge people... If it's not, you're complete idiots and you need to go through a few more years of schooling and etiquette.
