They need it to be flying... I still want to play through a pokemon with only Eeveelutions... The lack of a flying type really hurts that...

This just in: Ninfia's English name has been announced as Sylveon. No more details were given, but Corocoro has stated that more will be revealed next month.
In the meantime, here's a video featuring Sylveon.

My guess, either Flying (It's appearance is very free flowing, it looks like it used Sky Attack in the promo.) or Dragon (Looks kind of Regal, it reminds me of Altaria to an extent.)

My third guess? Poison. Why?

Why

It's the only Eeveelution with fangs.

My sister bet me $10 it was a steel type.

I'd bet the fangs are just for Moe <<;. Dat Fang, and all <<;. If it is poisonous, it's only poisonously cute <<;.

Well, from what i could see those were all Normal type moves, unless i'm mistaken. So my guess is still with Normal.

What people fail to realize is just because it was shown using Normal moves, doesn't immediately make it Normal. Pokémon can learn moves of multiple types.
And in fact, I think all the moves shown can be learned by Eevee and every Eeveelution, so... yeah...

I can think of 3 types that could fit it...flying,fighting, or normal
flying because of the japanise name, fighting because why not, and normal because it seems to be a normal type and might be the chansey this gen for its pink. ;v

I AM looking rather beautiful today.
If it were flying, then how does it even fly?
Also a comment made on Yotube needs to posted here so I'll quote it.

I know this has been heavily debated, But I'm with the bandwagon of people on the fact that I think Sylveon's a flying type.
I mean, THE THING LITERALLY IS SKYLA IF SHE WERE A POKEMON.

Hello~
I'll stick with my Flying type theory, but I can somewhat see it being a Ghost type?

I'm going with the Flying type theory, since aside from its windswept appearance the first part of its name Syl- is in the word Sylph, an elemental of wind. Welp, there are my two bits on the matter, can't wait to see how the game will play out!
