Bringing THIS baby back

Of course. I AM the resident Pokémon here on VE, gotta keep up on my species' information. Sunday on Pokémon Smash in Japan, Junichi Masuda will be on to showcase a new Mon. Also, be wary of anything Pokémon you see on the Internet, due to both the recent passing of April Fools, and the upcoming announcement. Here's a tip. If there's not Japanese fanart of it on Pixiv within hours of a reveal, it's not real. |

Let's become someone else. Perhaps with more depth of character.

Seriously, GameFreak? Why? I just not sure how to feel about this exactly.Edit: Scratch that partially, considering its supposedly a new pokemon, but that familiar appearance is a bit frustrating. Edited by S. E. Lehcar, Apr 6 2013, 11:59 PM.

The Embodiment of Earth

That... That's not... THAT'S NOT. MewThree. No. It didn't need to be done. I'm hoping this is an April fools joke. |

Really now, not only was there no NEED for it to be done, there was no WAY for it to be done. In game story wise, i mean. The place where they experimented on Mew was Burned down in a fire, and later destroyed entirely by a Volcano. So, either they re-caught mew or it just poped out of the freaking ether. Neither one sounds like a good explanation, and butthurt butthurt gnap rargh. |

Embodiment of Corruption

Obviously, Mewtwo is not up to snuff and thus they continued their quest to create the ultimate fighting Pokémon.

Bringing THIS baby back

Since it was officially announced on April 7th JST, and it's got Japanese fan-art, it's true. Just because Cinnabar Island was destroyed, doesn't mean that there are not 5 other regions that could have house the experiments. |

That, and the form might not be the product of an experiment. Please stop jumping to stupid conclusions. What we do know, is that it's being announced as a "new Pokémon." However, alternate forms have been revealed as new Pokémon in the past, like with Kyurem. It's uncanny resemblance, the fact it's going to be in a movie about Mewtwo and that it has a similar move-pool from the trailer points in the direction of a new form rather than a new Pokémon. And I'd like to see where this goes. I don't like how it seems everyone is bashing on the thing because it ruins their childhood or whatever. I grew up with Gen 1 and I welcome the new form with open arms. I like how the new forms body proportions make it resemble it's mother Mew (In the trailer, it's body seems to have shrunk). Also, IT'S A POKéMON ABOUT DNA IN A GENERATION NAMED AFTER CHROMOSOMES, WHY DO PEOPLE NOT THINK THAT IS AWESOME? |
