Noticed something when escaping from fights. The field music starts playing before the screen changes from the battle to the field. |

Not a glitch. Actually a feature of RPGMaker. Happens when the 'you win fight' jingle ends, too, before you leave the battle screen. I'm not sure if Jakezu can help that. |

Selen is lost and trying to find a way back home. Map = no dialog? Give Selen something to say while looking at things outside of people. I'm sure she has plenty to say about many things out there. Like the gold bars the thief left without. If I was her, I'd question that. Doesn't even have to be plot related on this stuff. That piano at the inn? Dialog possibilities that aren't related to plot, but give more depth to the characters you are running around with to save the world. Yeah, I agree with Risuki's suggestions here. More minor dialog would be great, and gives us a bit of an additional story to Selen, even if it's minor details. Like for example, taking the piano Risuki mentioned- if you go up to it, why not have some sound play that seems like her trying to play it? Or maybe a dialogue mentioning she never learned it, and when an ally joins later on, one of them goes and plays something flawlessly. Small details like that give life to your characters. |

Small update on progress of Alpha 3: All of the enemies for the upcoming Sylvan Forest area are done, and some animations required for these enemies have been added. Some improvement has been made to earlier content (like that the intro now actually works like it should). The only major thing missing from A3 are the events, and of course some of the other areas. Next update will either be the release of Alpha 3 or another one of these before the prior. NECRO AHOY! A very long overdue update, the game has been updated to Alpha 3 (Story Only)! This is a massive update on the core structure, and just about everything you knew about the game apart from the story does not apply anymore. What does Story Only mean? It means that this version does not have any optional content to speak of. Optional content (along with any balance updates and such) will be added in a version that is coming SoonTM. Check the OP for more info. The full release version of Alpha 3 is uploaded and available for download! This adds a high-level dungeon to the game (you have to grind a fair bit to get far in it, as it's recommended for Lv. 50+ -- the story content cuts off at around Lv. 30) as well as fixes a lot of bugs present in the earlier version. Updated to Alpha 3 Full, Hotfix 3. This update adds a version identifier to the System menu and fixes a progression issue for Ruchsale Bridge. Additionally, many of the concerns voiced by Speedy in his previous post have been addressed across hotfixes. (Note: the only scenario in which you'd need a new save file would be if you're locked out of Ruchsale Bridge after entering and leaving once. I can also fix the save file in Playtest mode if you send it over.) |
