After Command and Conquer 4's release of immeasurable FAIL, EA has gone off and said Command and Conquer would get some time off. And then later, promised us a grand reboot of Command and Conquer. I was personally sceptic, as C&C has.. degraded ever since EA picked it up. Even later, a sequal to Generals was announced in the form of, well, Generals 2. What could EA possibly ruin about their OWN title in the series? A sequal to their OWN game.. surely nothing could go wrong?

Now, everyone who's reading this probably thought 'hey, weren't this multiple topics before?' yes, yes they were. To be precise, they were the 'Command and Conquer - Generals 2' and 'Command and Conquer- now truly down the drain.' topics. Cause, let's face it: both topics were about the same subject.. and so will this next piece of information be. Source: CommandandConquer.com Am I saddened by this news?.. not really. My only issue is that due to processor issues, I myself have been unable to actually play the aforementioned alpha, if only to see how bad it is. All I can wonder is if this is the point where EA realizes that what they've been doing has essentially been shit, and what WE want from a reboot.. is not a reboot at all. Alas, I can only speak for myself, I suppose.. Either way, it seems like this is the end for Command and Conquer for now. A bitter ending after CnC4 and the horrid news that was the 'Free to Play' Command and Conquer reboot.. But we'll see. Maybe it'll rise from it's ashes. |

BUNNY ON DA ROOOOF

If they actually decide to come back to this, like, ever, I want a proper sequel to Generals, or a disk/download with Generals and ~:Zero Hour. I'd pay more for the latter, since I never had my own copy; I have to use my gramps's. :U Give me the game I played when I was a kid, or don't bring me another C&C at-all. That's all there is to it, really. You've done Sims justice, despite me not being a ginormous fan of 3, so I wanna see that happen once again with one of my favorite childhood franchises. If this new not-Rare team can do the new Killer Instinct justice, why can't you do the same to your own name, EA? oh right because you're post-2005 EA |

To remove the disgusting taste still lingering in some of our mouths, why not a little flashback. Today I decided to play Command and Conquer. The original game ...patched to work incredibly good on modern systems. ![]() The best way to win GDI mission 2. Capture. EVERYTHING. Anyway, if you're interested in a short nostalgia trip, I suggest you check out dis lil' post here cause it contains a few steps you will want to take.
