Shawn stared at the fire, stew in his lap. "I still do not know where to go at the moment, I was thinking of crossing the mountains west of here, but I do not know the lands." He took a mouthful of stew, cool at this point. He wiped his mouth. "I must ask, how is Kutaka doing?" He sat back as he said this, unsure if now was the right moment to ask. |

"West? That will only bring you death. Karlorg is full of war nowadays, orcs are not to be trifled with." Morgrom warned. "Morgrom, rosh ka tal? Ka noshmak gar nash, buuzul, Kutaka tal ka." uttered Orgok. At this, Morgrom had eyed his companion with weariness. "Ka tal? Gar'tok!" The two continued this way in their own language, until the shaman had seemed to agree to whatever the subject was about. Morgrom looked at Orgok, who urged him on with a 'winning' smile. "You two may come with us. Orgok believes it would benefit us to travel together. We are also on quest, and a helping hand or two would be... agreeable. And my pupil, Kutaka, would enjoy seeing your faces again. It may ease burden of watching over her if you two were to keep her company." Orgok nodded at this, staring at Shawn and Claira, he awaited their response. |

Shawn nearly jumped at the chance of adventuring in other lands, but stopped and thought about it. He was possably going to another place he did not know about, in which case he would have to worry about Claira's safety, and while she had demonstrated in the past she could hide well, that was about it. He turned twoards Claira, who was off to the side, with the doll in her hand. She seemed to pay little attention to them. Shawn though about it some more. This is what he wanted after all. Finnaly he said, getting up, "Where to?" |

"Ha, that settles it!" Orgok jumped up, walked over to Shawn and patted him on the back roughly. "We're leaving for Zumanah Island in the morning." Morgrom was now standing, his face expression caught between annoyance and relief. On one hand, they now had two humans that would be venturing with them on a formidable quest, and on the other, Kutaka would not need to watched as much. "Let us gather your belongings. I grow weary." announced Morgrom. Orgok helped with some of the bags, kicking dirt into the campfire. He bundled up his fur that had been Shawn's bed earlier and slung it onto his back, checking the strap around his chest to make sure it was secure. Morgrom summoned water from deep beneath the earth to wash the bowls clean. "We must go back to where we first met. There is still much meat left to harvest from our kills." Morgrom hummed in compliance with Orgok's suggestion. "Yes, I will carry what I can. We do not waste what nature gives us." |

Shawn walked over to Claira, whispered something then hugged her. She went into the makeshift tent, and came out with a small bag she wore around her waist. Shawn took the branches for the tent, then carefully burned them. He collected the ashes in a small bag that could be tied to his waist, among the many bags there. It would later be used for a very small trading purpose to farming settlements. He took his copper armor, which was slightly less rusty due to careful cleaning, and put it on. He took a rather large backpack, containing most of his supplies, and put it on, and followed the others. |

Orgok led the group first to the bodies of the bison and stag. He dropped the bags he was carrying, took hold of his butchering tools, and began the process of taking all the meat off the bison. Morgrom was working on the other end. Short loin, flank, chuck, brisket, hip, sirloin, and the short plate were removed with experienced hands from the bison. The skin of the bison they used as bags, wrapping the cuts with them and tying them off with ropes. These ropes were then linked to each other so that the orcs could tie it to their waist and drag what they had no room for to carry. The process repeated with the stag being next. "Little one, can you carry this?" Morgrom asked Claira. He held up a small bundle, about the size of a cantaloupe. It was the shanks of the stag. Orgok was tying off the rest of the stag in its own skin as well, holding up the rope that would go around a waist. "And if you would tie this around you, kiddo?" said Orgok to Shawn. |

Claira silently put her doll in her waist bag, and then took the bag. Shawn also took the bag from Orgok, and tied it around his waist. As they walked on, Claira became tired, so Shawn picked her up. She feel asleep, bag still in her arms. It was late afternoon, when Shawn walked over to Orgok, and said, "I don't believe we have introduced ourselves, my name is Shawn, this is Claira" He said, slightly shaking Claira to give an emphasis. He held out his hand to him, balancing Claira with the other. |

Orgok shifted the weight of the lesser bags on his shoulders, clasping Shawn's hand in his own. "I don't believe we have either! I am Orgok, I'd tell you my full name... but then I'd have to kill you." Orgok said with all seriousness. Then, he let out a harsh laugh. "I jest, of course." Morgrom walked behind the two as he tugged his burden along. They would arrive to the shore by dusk and would have to move their camp to a denser area. Pirates, bandits, and all sorts of thugs passed by the shore around night and running into them was not on the agenda. Two Hours Later... The newly formed band of adventurers finally arrived to a small clearing. Thick foliage made an impenetrable mass of darkness in which one's eyes could see nothing. Here, the orcs let loose their extra weight and stretched. “We’ll be back. We have to go to our camp and move everything over here.” explained Orgok. Both shaman and rouge disappeared into the foliage. |

Shawn carfully set down the bags, then Claira, who was still asleep. He let her rest in his lap while he procceded to think. As he was thinking, he grew more and more tired, it was dusk, from what he could tell. Eventually, he leaned his head against a tree, and fell asleep. |

Tents, utensils, bags, everything was packed up and ready to be hauled off. The two orcs sat around their equipment, taking a moment to rest. “When does our boat arrive?” asked Orgok as he picked his teeth. “In the morning, when the birds begin to sing their songs.” “And we are to trust the owner?” Morgrom sighed, a rumbling noise sounded from within. “Yes, Rahklar believed him a trustworthy goblin. I advised our friend that goblins are loyal to trolls and themselves only. Even then, the promise of coin can lure them astray. We can only hope the nature of our quest is not in his knowledge.” Orgok grunted. “Well, we should be getting back now. The whelps are probably waiting for us to return.” “Go, I wish to meditate for some time.” Morgrom stated. The rouge took his share of the bags and left. Minutes Later... There was rustling in the foliage, slight, but it was there. Niether Morgrom or Orgok appeared from it. The rustling came again. Up from the trees and then below seconds later. |

Shawn woke up to a rustling noise, a very slight one. It was about a few yards from him. Nobody was coming from it, yet, it was there. Shawn picked up Claira, who was still sleeping on his lap, nearby bush. He rolled and knelled up, right hand on sword sheath, and the left for his dagger. He stayed there, silently, ready for whatever was there. |

There it was again. This time, it was a lot closer. It grew more frantic. The rustling was feverish and then... it all stopped. It was quiet. "GRRAAAHHHHHH!" A bear burst out the foliage, clawed paws raised as if it were to attack. It swiped at the nearby items and spilled out the contents some of the bags. |

Shawn thought of what just happened. There was a bear attacking the bags he put do- Of course! The bear was attracted to the meat he had. He was tempted to fight it, but memorys of back home came back. A bear took 6 men to kill, and he was only one. He had some meat in one of the bags that are tied to his waist, so he took it out. It wasn't much, but it should grab the bears attention. He threw it back into the brush, tense he was, ready to fight, for if he took off, the bear would definetly catch up. He couldn't leave Claira behind either. |

The bear ignored the meat that was thrown at it. Inching closer and closer to Claira and Shawn. It let out a low growl all the while. It was now a feet away. "Boo!" Orgok jumped out from under the bear skin. A mischevious gleam was visible in his eyes as he laughed. "Ha ha ha! You should have seen your face!" |

Shawn was startled out of his mind. He was still trying to figure out what happened when he made his remark. Shawn then laughed, and Claira woke up, not knowing what has just happened. She looked at Orgok, then Shawn. Shawn looked at Claira and said, "Something for another time." and laughed some more. He looked at Orgok, and said "You seem to have your own sense of humor!" He sat down, with a smile. |

"There's nothing like a good scare or surprise for everyone to laugh at." Orgok sat down next to Shawn, offering one of the many drinking horns from within one of the bags. "Ale and mead, take your pick. Well, there's also orc brew if you feel brave enough. He pointed the opening of the bag towards Shawn. An assortment of all sorts of drinking horns filled the particular bag. Small ones, large ones, thick, and all of them were capped or corked. |

Shawn laid down. "I'm not a drinker." He calmly stated. Claira came over Shawn's other side, then leaned on him. Shawn patted her shoulder. Claira jumped onto his stomach. "Oafff" Shawn went, as Claira giggled. |

"Ah, come now boy! Surely you can share a few turns with a new friend?" Orgok removed two small horns from the bag and clinked them together. His face was pleading, well, what was pleading for an orc. He drank often, whether he was alone or not. Orgok preferred having someone to be merry with the majority of the time. |

Shawn moved Claira from his stomach. He sighed, then said, "Fine." He took horn, and took a swig. As time worn on, he became drunk, eventally remarking a part from his past. "You know, there was this one guy from out in my village, who drunk lots and lots of beer. Later, there was a fire in his home. When asked what happened, he said he lit a cigar, and the cigar lit his beard on fire because it was soaked in beer!" He threw himself back, laughing hard. |

Orgok laughed hard along with Shawn. "I've had a time like that. Beards tend to be good sponges. Ha ha! I'll tell you something, ever seen a waste wolf? Bah, what am I saying? Of course not! Karlorg is home to these wolves, and they ain't nothing like the wolves you see roaming Duran. Twice as big, maybe three! I stuck a piece of meat into another orc's pants once when I was younger. The poor bastard ended up running on to the top of a boulder while a pack of those snapped at his ass." Orgok laughed hard again. "I see the spirits have risen." Morgrom had arrived. |
