Shawn sat up, at least he thought so. What really happened was that Claira helped him up. "Morgrom! Come, have a drink with us, and may we share many story's of whatever type!" He took a swig from his horn, then passed out. Claira settled down next to him, and laid down. |

"Looks like both of them are out." Orgok retrieved the clean bear skin and laid them over Shawn and Claira. "Yes, and we should join them. We must be ready to wake up for tomorrow." advised Morgrom. "Bah! I was getting tired anyway!" Orgok haphazardly clambered up into a tree, found a nice nook made by the thick branches, settled in, and fell asleep. Loud snores drifted down from above. Morgrom took the time to set up a tent and disappeared behind the flaps. Morning... A loud whistle broke the silence of the morning. Steam erupted from a small kettle hung over the campfire. Orgok fell out of the tree, hitting the earth with a nice thud. He groaned, putting his head in one of his hands. Morgrom was always the one to rise the earliest, and the kettle was his way of waking everyone up. |

Claira instantly sat yp straight in alarm, only to find Morgrom, and a small campfire. Claira nudged Shawn, who slowly got up. He held his head, and said, "This is why I don't like drinking." He slowly walked over to the campfire, and sat down, Claira behind him. Shawn was going to say something about the whistle, but decided against it. Everybody had their own ways. |

The shaman removed the kettle from the fire. After it had cooled down, Morgrom poured everyone a cup. He gave the first two to Shawn and Claira. Orgok was just getting on his feet from his fall and groggily made his way over to receive a cup. He made a small sign of thanks before taking sips. The shaman then served himself. "This should help with the aches. I brew it often when the others drink too much." |

Shawn said "Thanks." Before taking a sip. It was true it helped, for his headach soothed itself. He decided to ask a question that has been bugging him. "How are we going to get to the island?" He said, before taking another sip. Claira pulled out her doll, and studied it. |

The songbirds were now active. Tweets and chirps formed melodies around the group. "A boat will arrive soon to escort us to the island. It may be a goblin mercenary boat or one chartered from the more... how would you humans put it... legal courses." explained Morgrom. "What he means is, one will leave you to die if the coin isn't good enough. The other will have to stay." chimed Orgok. It was early morning, and their escort would not arrive for another hour. Orgok set to cooking the short loin of the bison. The meat was very tender, making for nice steaks when Orgok had finished. Everyone was given a nice size, even Claira received a steak that was probably as big as her head. "I wish Kutaka was here! The wonders that girl can do with meat like this!" drooled Orgok. |

Shawn nodded in agreement. She was a rather good cook. Claira looked at the peaice of meet, and then nodded at the orc, and procceded to eat. Shawn was rather alarmed at this, but ate without a word. He was a guest of these orcs, and he supposed they knew better than him in these parts. |

Orgok was consuming his food much slower than last time. He was taking caution to avoid having it come back up. Morgrom ate his steak, quiet as ever, and took sips of his tea. It was a silent breakfast for the most part. The only noise was from the songbirds' calls. An hour passed, and a loud honk sounded near the shore. The rouge ran out to check and came back. "It's not a boat. It's a whole ship! Let's get going!" The two orcs made swift work of cleaning everything up. After the fire was put out, they trotted down to the shore. The ship was anchored off in the distance and two boats had been detached to pick up their passengers. A troll worked one boat, and the other was directed by a goblin. "All aboard for The Ocean's Pearl! Step on in! We'll get you onto the ship in no time!" squawked the goblin. Morgrom signaled everyone to unload their equipment into the troll's boat and to board the goblin's for transport. |

Alternative View: Claira Claira walked onto the boat with Shawn, who kept her close. She held her doll close to he chest, looking about. There was a small green man, who had a strange nose and ears. Claira pressed close to Shawn at the sight of him. Shawn stood up straight, and said "So, this is our transport?" |

"Yup. And it looks like a mercenary ship! I suggest keeping your belongings close when we board." stated Orgok. The boats pushed off towards the ship. The goblin paddled but soon realized that he could not handle the weight of his passengers. His hands moved to work a machine that was on the end of the boat. He pulled a string, and the machine sputtered before roaring to life. The little green man turned a handle that directed the machine to speed their boat forward. |

Claira kept her doll close to herself, and shawn tried to keep his bags along with him. Claira looked around, and found a small corner to sit down. She stayed there, wide awake. Alternitive View: Shawn Amberson Shawn didn't like the feeling that at any moment, something could be taken from him. Claira was off in a corner, watchful of anything that came near her. He walked over and sat by her, and looked about. There where a few goblins here and there, preforming various tasks. |

It took some minutes for the boats to arrive to the port side of the ship. A rope ladder was lowered and crewmen helped bring the equipment up first. Then, Morgrom and Orgok climbed up the ladder. The rouge stood guard over the bags while Morgrom leaned down at the top of the rope ladder. The shamans hand was extended out to help Shawn up. |

Shawn picked out Claira, and handed her to Morgrom, then climbed up himself. He looked about, and said, "I must say, I am oddly impressed with these goblins, this appears to be a fine ship." Claira found another corner, and sat down. Shawn just looked about. |

"The goblins are good at understanding the workings of machinery. We orcs aren't much tinkerers, but I can appreciate their efforts." agreed Morgrom. "Now, that should be the captain approaching us." A goblin wearing knee high black boots, a blue tricorn hat, a white linen shirt, and black satin sash approached the group. His yellow, sharp teeth were revealed when he smiled and spoke. "Welcome aboard! Your rooms will be below deck. My crew will move your equipment down for you if you wish." Morgrom declined with a shake of his head. "Very well. Your friend has paid us a nice sum to escort you to Zumanah Island safe and sound. I assure you, my crew and I, can withstand anything thrown our way! Now, if you need anything, just ask one of my men." informed the captain. The goblin left to tend to his duties. Morgrom and Orgok began hauling their belongings to the deck below. |

Shawn walked over to Claira, and picked her up, an proceed down the decks with Morgrom, and Orgok. The boat seemed to be rather masterfully created, with machinery here and there, been operated by some other mechanism, or a goblin. "Orgok," He said as they passed into the lower decks "What do you know of Zumanah Island?" |

"Plenty. There are great spots to drink and relax. You can eat all the delicious fruits you want, but some of them are poisonous. And it's the homeland of the trolls and goblins, which means food. Food fit for kings as you humans say. There's also a lot of jungle with things that can kill you. All sorts of stuff." Orgok tried gesturing with his hands to add to his description. "Oh, and huge birds with scales. Maybe we'll get time to ride a few." Orgok stopped at the first room, but was interrupted by Morgrom. "I will take this one. You take the second." The rouge shrugged and moved to the second room. "You and Claira will be sharing the third room, I assume." said Orgok. |

"I suppouse" Shawn replied. He walked over to the third room. He opened the door and inspected the inside. There where two medium sized beds, at oppisite sides of the room. There was a small bookcase, containing books in forgein langagues. There was a chest between the two beds, with a lock. There was a key in the lock. Shawn first put Claira down in one of the beds, where she sat up and began looking around the room herself. Taking the advice Orgrok gave him, Shawn put his bags and such in the chest, but instead took a lock and key out of his own bag, and used them instead. The other lock and key he put on the book shelf |

First Room... Morgrom studied his room. A single bed facing west was pushed up again the east wall. The wooden desk was pushed against the west wall. A small nightstand stood on the right of the bed with a single candle holder. The shaman entrusted all his belongings into a chest at the foot of his bed. He took the key and hid it underneath the bed. Second Room... Orgok made for the hammock suspended between two small wooden pillars in the center of the room. He tested out the comfortability first, twisting this way and that. Satisfied for the moment, the orc hopped out of the hammock to store his items in a chest settled in the right hand corner of the room. After Some Time... The orcs left their rooms at different intervals to get some fresh air. Never once running into each other when they returned to their rooms. Edited by T.O.R.P., Jul 1 2012, 09:52 PM.

Shawn paced around the room, wehn it occured to him the onlything he could do now, was to wait. It would be a rather boring trip he assumed, so he opened the chest, and took out one of his books, named "A simple life" It went along the lines of a man who is conscripted as a soldier. He locked the chest, and put the key in the book, as he began reading it. Claira came over, and looked at the book as he was reading it. Shawn looked at her, and patted her on the head. She gave one of thouse carefree smiles, that only a child could give, and then she went to bed. As the day wore on, He put the book under his bed, the small key inside it. He then went to sleep.

Main Deck... Morgrom stood near the side of the ship, observing the blue of the ocean. His mind was filled with wonder and reverence for the vast bodies of water that they now sailed upon. One of these days, he would attempt to explore the depths one way or another. A hand grasped one of his shoulders, and he turned to face Orgok. The rouge smiled before taking his place next to Morgrom. The two looked out together as they often did. "Morgrom, one day we will be free of our past, and you may see the world as you wish when the time comes." assured Orgok. "Hmmm... I do not know if we will ever return to Karlorg. Our people continue to shed each other's blood with no hope of returning to peace. Grum has sealed our fates." Orgok frowned. "There will be peace. Rahklar was born under the Blood Moon. A great destiny awaits him and I believe it will lead us to peace." "Strong words... what has become of Orgok Bloodrage?" "Hey, I can be wise here and there." The sound of feet behind them ended their conversation. They turned to see one of the crew members just as she had approached. "The crew is preparing to sit down for a meal. I've been given the job of informing you all." explained the girl. "Very well. I have some meat if your cook wishes to have some nice cuts of bison. Don't touch the sirloin or brisket. Everything else your crew may use." informed Orgok. The next few minutes consisted of hauling the meat to the cook. Morgrom and Orgok went below deck again to wake Shawn and Claira for the evening meal. |
