Shawn woke to knocking on the door. When he awnsered the door, he found Orgok and Morgrom there, telling him it was time to eat. He turned around and woke Claira, and told her to follow him so they could go eat. They reached the room to see diffrent types of meat, and a few vetables and fruits her and there. After picking out some food, and a while into eating, the rocking of the ship began to effect him, in a rather unfavorable way. Then he remebered. (Damn,) He thought (I remember, I get sea sick.) He got up and said, "Excuse me." He quickly left the room. Claira looked as Shawn left, and giggled. |

Orgok watched Shawn pardon himself from the meal and shrugged. Ten minutes had passed and a stack of bowls was forming due to Orgok's great efforts in devouring food. Some of the crew members watched and stared in disbelief. Morgrom helped himself to two bowls and ended his meal with some tea. While the two orcs ate their fills away from the rooms below, three of the crew members had slipped away unnoticed. Morgrom's Room The door creaked open and people filed in one by one. A tall but scrawny man went in first, followed be a short and chubby man who was followed by a man that looked physically better than both. They shut the door behind them and whispered to one another. |

Claira ate the rest of her bowl, then quitly looked around the room from her seat. Not much seemed to intrested her, so she got up and headed for the room. Meanwhile... Shawn headed back for his room, his mouth sour from becoming sick. He couldn't really stand up straight, and he didn't feel like doing anything eles for the day. He walked into his room, closing the door rather loudly behind him. Meanwhile... Claira was walking down the hallway, past Morgrom's room, and the- Wait, she heard something quite inside, like wispering. She took a step closer, floor creaking as she stepped. |

Morgrom's Room "Quick, search the room. The key has to be here somewhere." commanded the man who had followed after his chubby companion. He stepped pass the scrawny man, jostling him on the way to the drawer. The short one searched the bed. The tall one checked the desk. "There's no key, boss." spoke the chubby one. "Well, look harder Harold or I'll gut you. Pssst, Erin, have you found anything?" "Nope. Are you sure these guys have anything valuable at all?" questioned Erin. "Of course! The one that hired us at Zumanah paid us a chest's worth of gold! His friends here should be rich too." The three continued searching the room and speaking in hushed tones. |

Claira ran to her room, wide eyed. She opened the door quietly, and found Shawn sleeping in bed. She ran over and pull at him, trying to wake him up. "Erm ahg... Whaaat..." Shawn said, as she dragged him. She gestured twoards the outside. Shawn lazily got up, and walked out side. "What?" He said, looking around. Claira dragged him near Morgrom's room. Shawn was lazily walking untill he heard sounds inside. It sounded like voices, but it wasn't Morgrom's, or Orgrok's. Shawn ran to his room, and grabbed his sword and dagger, then came back. "Get Morgrom and Orgrok, quickly!" He pressed himself against the wall, listening. Claira tiptoed off, and started running a bit down the hallway. A minute later Claira ran over to Morgrom, and pulled at his hand, gesturing towards the hallway to the rooms. |

Morgrom opened his mouth, but closed it when Claira gestured towards their rooms. He nudged Orgok in the side, who almost choked on his food, and pointed under the table with a finger at the hallway. Orgok nodded and both of them left the table with Claira. Shawn was pressed up against the wall when they arrived. "What is going on?" spoke Morgrom as softly as he could. |

Shawn talked, but did not look away. "Somebody is in your room. From what I can tell, they might be after wealth..." He shifted, trying to listen, then said, "From what I can tell, there might be two or three of them, I don't think they know that we are aware." He gripped his sword, and said, "I would rather take, than kill, what do you say?" |

"Yes, shedding blood may cause the rest of the ship to be wary us. We can storm in and take them by surprise." agreed Morgrom. Orgok rolled his shoulders, opened and closed his hands, and huffed. This orc was ready to go. "The chance to knock some sense into these thieves would be nice. They should know never to steal from an orc when you're stuck on a ship. Now, let's-" The sound of something whistling broke his speech. "Does anyone else hear that? Sounds like a-" A cannonball careened right through the middle of Shawn and Morgrom. It made a large hole in the door; Orgok peered through to see that it had also killed one of the thieves. The other two were bleeding out from the bits of wood that had lodged themselves in their bodies. "Well, that solves it." said Orgok. Crew members began rushing pass them to the gun deck. Gunports were opened and the muzzles of cannons were readied for firing. Another whistle sounded but the cannonball did not broach the ship. Morgrom and Orgok looked hard at each other then made their way above deck to see chaos. Men and women ran this way and that, tending the sails and releasing ropes. "Man the cannons! Get your cutlasses! We're under attack by pirates!" shouted the captain from the poop deck. |

Shawn looked around as the goblins rushed to whatever their job was. "What are the odds of being stolen from and attacked by pirates at the same time?" He yelled as he rushed to his room, to get to his chest. A cannon ball bashed through the wall, nearly hitting him in the head. He fell to the ground momentarly, only to get up and rush back to his room. "I belive staying at gun level is a bit dangrouse eh?" He yelled as he grabbed his armor and bags. |

"Captain! They're coming up starboard side! The pirates are attempting to board us!" warned a crew member. "Let them board! We'll fight with our swords and flintlocks!" cried the captain. Orgok removed his leather tunic, revealing all the tattoos that decorated his arms. The snake on his left arm distorted, oozing off before manifesting into an actual live snake on the ground. "Watch the little girl! Now!" Orgok commanded. The serpent slithered towards Claira and wrapped its tail around her leg to get her attention. It was attempting to direct her to the safest location possible. |

Claira's mind shut out fear for an odd reason, she didn't know why, she just wanted to get out of here. Shawn looked out of the hole the last cannonball made. "We should probably get them at a choke point, thin out their man power, then strike back." He said, pulling out his sword. "Is there any rooms we could do so?" |

"We're on the sea, kiddo. There's not much you can do when the real fighting starts, but hope that your skills keep you alive." stated Orgok. The swords tattooed onto his skin repeated the same process the snake had, materializing in his hands. With weapons in hand, he bellowed a war cry. Morgrom, equipped with his fist weapons, added his voice to the cry. Both of them looked tense like vipers ready to strike. The pirate ship was just connecting itself to The Ocean's Pearl. Soon, battle would commence and lives would be in peril. |

Shawn put on his rather rusted armor, and unsheathed his sword. Battle would commence any moment now. The pirate ship suddenly crashed against the ship. Shawn crashed into the side of the ship, and slowly made his way to the top deck. Men, women, goblins, and even an orc where fighting. At of the corner of his eye, he say a man charging him, cutlass in hand. Shawn sidestepped as he ran forward, and attempted to stab, but it was blocked by his cutlass, in a rather showy way. The pirate grinned as he step forward, arms tense as he was about to strike. He raised his cutlass, and slashed it down, but Shawn blocked it, and gave the man a bloody nose with his fist for his troubles. Two men charged at him. Shawn slashed the knee of the first as he stepped forward, and pushed him into the other. He suddenly lost hold of his sword, as somebody grasped his wrist, and twisted it. Shawn yelled for a moment, the jumped into the enemy, putting all his weight on him. As he crashed down on the man, a troll came in to finish him with a spear. Shawn rolled over, making the troll impale his own comrade. Shawn the punched the troll with a swift upper cut, knocking the troll out. A man was standing at the obisite end, dagger in hand. Shawn unsheathed his own and charged. |

Pirates flooded in from their ship by way of wooden planks or swinging from ropes. The mercenaries did the same. Gun powder pervaded the air along with terrible wails from the wounded. Clinging of metal sounded from every side as everyone desperately fought, pirates for loot and mercenaries for their lives. Orgok struck out at the first pirate to challenge him. The cutlass managed to nick him on his upper right arm as he whirled around to deliver a blow with the hilt of one sword. It made contact with the pirate's cheek; spittle, blood, and a tooth came flying out of his mouth. Orgok seized the moment to run his blade through the man's stomach then brought it up, cutting the pirate from belly to throat. He kicked the corpse off his blade and turned to find his next opponent. Morgrom had his own hands full with a nahtuur. Horns had nearly gored him three times during the struggle, and the bovine humanoid was ready to make a fourth charge. The shaman sidestepped the charge, inches away from the nahtuur's horns, and brought one of his fists up. The clawed fist weapon caught the nahtuur's side, slicing his flesh open. A cry wrangled itself loose from the nahtuur's throat as he turned around to face Morgrom. Nahtuur and orc circled each other before clashing again. This time, Morgrom grabbed the nahtuur's horns and two were locked in a standoff. Both attempted to make the other give way, but Morgrom thought of another plan. He began bringing the head of the bovine pirate, who realized what Morgrom was attempting to do, downwards. The orc's right knew flew up and connected with the nahtuur's skull and sent him reeling backwards. The shaman followed up with an uppercut that drove his clawed fist weapon straight through the nahtuur's lower jaw. Blood spewed out from all directions. With a cry of fury, Morgrom pulled his weapon towards himself and ripped off the entire lower jaw. Storeroom The snake had brought Claira to the stores, barrels of fresh water took up most of the room. It rounded one of the barrels where a little girl would be able to hide behind. The serpent slithered into the darkness and coiled itself up. In the event that someone were to find Claira, it would strike out. |

Claira hid in the small spot, the sound of cannon fire, and cutlass above. Meanwhile Shawn stood over three dead bodies. The fight was taking it's toll on him, he was bleeding from his legs and arms. His armor procteced him from a couple nixes, but only on his chest. He spotted Morgrom finishing off a Nahtuur. He called out to him, saying, "This fight is already taking it's affect on me... I belive I rushing into it to quickly." A spearman pirate charged with a twisted grin on his face. He was able to dodge it, and strike down the pirate with a dagger to his back. The man fell with a groan. "What are their numbers? Surely this fight can't last forever!" |

Orgok now had his fair share of wounds. Numerous cuts covered his chest and back but none were fatal. The rouge crossed the planks onto the pirate ship and was lost in the sea of bodies. "If enough of them die, they'll run! Do you need rest?" shouted Morgrom. The pirate's face he held in his hand bursted into flames. The troll ran screaming from the deck and jumped into the ocean. |

"If I rest now, it would be an eternal one!" He jested, as he kneed a charging Human in the stomach, then took his dagger, and stabbed him. "Pirates are known to be a bit stubborn, I do not believe that they will run anytime soon." He gestured to a pirate, a troll by the looks of it, who had rather better equipment than the rest. He had already slain several crew members, and was moving onto his 8th. He had rather large muscles, and seemed to have killed one of the crew members with lightning. "Smash the snakes head, and the body is useless, no matter how powerful."

"Ha! You joke in the midst of battle! You're starting to sound like an orc!" laughed Morgrom. The shaman brought both of his claws down upon a pirate's face, shredding his flesh apart. He followed with a heavy kick to the chest to topple the man into the waters. Now, he moved his way to the troll that looked the part for a captain. "Come! Let us end this together!" shouted Morgrom to Shawn. There were some more pirates that needed dealing with before Morgrom was allowed even within a few feet of the pirate captain. Blood spilled out all over the deck; a cause for a slippery battleground. Meanwhile... Orgok had turned the tides on the pirate's ship. For every crew member slain by the captain, Orgok had slain a pirate. His namesake had kicked in and there was not much the sea thugs were able to do about it. The orc could feel his blood boil inside his veins with each fatal strike. Death gripped both the vessels and would not let go until a victor was declared. Edited by T.O.R.P., Jul 6 2012, 05:42 AM.

"I'm not so sure that is a good thing." Replied Shawn. He sheathed his sword, and took up a spear with a strap, and put that over his shoulder for later use. He then picked up a bow, along with some arrows. He proceeded to sight and shoot his way to the captain. A man charged him from the front foolishly. Shawn sighted him and shot an arrow, hitting him in the heart, and killing him. He moved forward, shooting a troll in the back as he was about to hack a human crew member. He continued on, Steping over the now dead troll.

Morgrom stepped behind the pirate captain and bellowed. The captain answered the shaman's challenge by turning around to acknowledge the orc with a smug smile. A mundane trident was held in the right hand of the troll; a net in the other. "Ya wish ta challenge me, mon?" sneered the troll pirate captain. "Me? You mean us. And we aren't here just to challenge you, we're here to send you into the afterlife." retorted Morgrom. It seemed as if everyone else around Shawn, Morgrom, and the captain had noticed the important fight about to happen. For no one else now bothered them, but chose to fight someone else. |
