HELP CHOOSE THE CAST!
Voting Deadline: Tuesday, November 30th, 2010
In the near future, I plan to start casting for my third major project, Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria. However, I've come across an obstacle that provides me with a rare opportunity to let the VA community as a whole make choices reflected in the character cast. Allow me to explain what I mean.
Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria features a character recruitment system where a Valkyrie may use her divine energy to materialize the spirit of a dead hero she carries within her, known as an Einherjar, by investing her power into a sacred relic. There are twenty relics scattered throughout the game. However, there are forty possible Einherjar that can be materialized. Four of the relics are guaranteed to materialize a specific Einherjar every time, but the rest have several possible materializations available specific to that object. However, each Einherjar is attuned to just one sacred relic in the game, meaning that a lot of tough decisions must be made about whom to take and whom to leave behind. The energy of the Einherjar not chosen will dissipate once the choice is made, releasing them from their bonds of servitutde to the Valkyrie. You will never see them again.
So, the task in this brainstorming session is for each and every person that reads this to cast their vote on which Einherjar I should pick for each materialization. While I only plan to cast the necessary characters for each chapter as I go, it would be nice to have a full gameplan in case I want to play ahead and get some extra footage recorded, and knowing who to take with me would be required. Please read the information about each Einherjar before choosing them specifically on looks (although those certainly count too). They are all interrelated in various ways, and I have some personality quirks planned for each of them.
Below, are all of the materialization choices that can be made. You should find plenty of information to help make your decisions. I've included their full-body pictures, biographies, both ideal ally pairings and old grudges with other characters, personality traits, and materialization rarity. Remember, the ones chosen WILL be up for audition eventually, so make sure to pick characters that would be interesting to voice!
NOTE: You can only pick ONE person from each group. Characters are listed from left-to-right for clarity. When you are finished, you should have sixteen choices made. No more, no less. I really look forward to everyone's participation to really make this a community event! Thanks in advance! And yes, all of the compilation images below are my work.

 Jessica, Richelle, and Sylphide
Jessica
Spoiler: click to toggle Raised by a merchant family in the Nethov region. A girl of such prosperous upbringing should never have been exposed to the brutishness of the world, but one day her destiny took a sudden turn. Her father, the wealthiest man in town, was ensnared in a trap that cost him his entire fortune- and his life. Her fiancé broke off their engagement when her family went bankrupt. Faced with starvation, Jessica decided to become an adventurer to sustain herself and, later, her son, Gerald. In 468 C.C., she came across an enormous gemstone while adventuring through some ruins. Unaware that the stone sealed the spirit of an evil dragon, she removed it from its resting place and was killed by the beast. In reality, however, the dragon was released by Odin, as part of a plan to destroy Nethov.
Jessica is very grateful to Silmeria for granting her another chance at life and wants to live it proudly. She knows that everyone she knew from her former life is now gone, and yet, she finds it difficult to accept, even though she knows that the inhabitants of her new hometown will protect her. Upon meeting Alicia, she appears to ask whether it is possible for her to meet some of the people from her former life again.
IDEAL PAIRS: Gerald GRUDGES----: Odin PERSONALITY: Curious, Lady-like, Polite, Regal RARITY-----: 25% chance of materialization
Richelle
Spoiler: click to toggle A captain of the Knights of the White Lily, Count Leon's royal guard. The Count's domain was the western territory of what was once the Arkdain Kingdom, located in the northeast of the continent. Richelle was one of Camille's renowned Seventeen Commanders in the War of Camille Hill and was later dubbed "Richelle of the Simmering Samite". In 574 C.C., under orders from the Count, Richelle fought in the War of Camille Hill alongside Roland, the captain of Arkdain's Knights of the Bloodsword. Her superior swordsmanship saved a defensive line from the brink of collapse and drove the enemy back into the mountains, resulting in victory. She commanded the frontline patrols for two years following the war and was eventually ordered home in 577 C.C. However, on the way home, the entire guard went missing after visiting a town in the Gorhla region.
Richelle and Roland were, in fact, murdered by Khanon, the lord of Gorhla. They were succeeded in their respective positions by Fraudir and Aaron. Richelle deeply regrets not having been able to save her soldiers and mentions having visited the region to pay her respects to them after being released. She also finds it strange to be alive again, knowing that she has already died before.
IDEAL PAIRS: Aaron, Fraudir, Roland GRUDGES----: Khanon PERSONALITY: Flirtatious, Sarcastic, Somewhat Vain, Valiant RARITY-----: 25% chance of materialization
Sylphide
Spoiler: click to toggle An attendant of Dipan's Queen Phyress for as long as she can remember, Sylphide stood by the queen's side unquestioningly and ended up fighting in the Year-Long War that raged across the continent. Though she was not suited for war, the healing magic she wielded is said to have saved Queen Phyress from a myriad of dangers. Sylphide almost lost her life near the war's end in the Battle of Rosetta, but was rescued from the clutches of death by her lover, Guilm, one of Dipan's commanders. He used the ritual of Soul Transfer, thus exchanging his own life for hers and that of her unborn child. After the battle, she gave birth to Dyn, then spent the rest of her days quietly in Dipan's chapel. She was found murdered by the Undead during the Mist of Niflheim- the dark ages that began in 599 C.C.
After being released, Sylphide finds her new life peaceful, so much so that her time as an Einherjar feels like a dream. However, she cannot help wondering what Odin has planned for Midgard, after hearing about Dipan and the suffering of its citizens. She also states that Midgard seems to have found a new source of power, different from that of Valhalla or Niflheim. She does not know whether this power is good or evil, but she knows it will cause change, and that frightens her.
IDEAL PAIRS: Dyn, Guilm, Phyress GRUDGES----: Brahms PERSONALITY: Innocent, Loyal, Naive, Polite, Servile RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
 Celes and Tyrith
Celes
Spoiler: click to toggle A princess of Dipan, Celes commanded the country's troops in the War of Camille Hill from 573 C.C. to 576 C.C. Her myriad battle tactics earned her a position as one of the Seventeen Commanders of Camille and also earned her the moniker "Warrior Princess Celes". After the war, she married the lord of Lassen and lived a peaceful life. However, in 581 C.C., the Rosetta Dynasty, a power existing in the south continent, launched an invasion under the orders of the court mage, Xehnon. Two of Rosetta's generals, Adonis and Ehrde, were sent to capture Celes while her husband was away. Although she managed to kill Adonis, Ehrde was successful in kidnapping her. This battle, known as the Lassen Invasion, was the cause of the Year-Long War, which ended with the whole continent's involvement. Celes eventually joined Xehnon's cause and participated in this war as Eclipse General of the Knights of the Sun, formerly Adonis' title. They fought against Dipan's navy, which was said to be ten times the size of their army. Near the end of the Year-Long War, she was wounded at the Battle of Rosetta by her younger sister, Phyress, Queen of Dipan. She died two years later as a result of the wound.
Celes' battle prowess was such that, about a century later, the rebel leader Tyrith claimed descendance from her. After being released, however, Celes states that she is still trapped in the past and cannot teach anything to the people of her time, even though she does enjoy reading about herself in history books. She tells Alicia that she is now the princess of Dipan and therefore has the right to choose her own path: it is both her duty and one of her only indisputable privileges. She also tells her that she sees traces of her older brother in her.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alicia, Ehlen, Ehrde, Guilm, Xehnon GRUDGES----: Adonis, Phyress PERSONALITY: Aggressive, Blunt, Courageous, Independent RARITY-----: 30% chance of materialization
Tyrith
Spoiler: click to toggle Raised in Lassen, a town in the southwest of the continent. Tyrith claimed to be the descendent of the Warrior Princess Celes, a heroine who lived about 100 years ago. She sided with Arkdain, which once existed in the northwest of the continent and contributed tremendously in the battle against Villnore. She became as famous and as strong, if not stronger, than Celes, giving her soldiers courage to fight even at their most exhausted. In 658 C.C., during a battle at Audoula Temple on the Lake, the Villnore army, led by Kraad, managed to sink the temple, killing Tyrith in the process.
Although she claimed she was related to General Celes, Tyrith was actually a mere merchant's daughter. Still, she feels proud of her accomplishments and even tries to convince people that she has been mentioned in history books after being released. However, she also tries to adapt to a peaceful life, despite the fact that battle is all she knows. As an alternative to earning a living, she also considers getting married while she is still young.
IDEAL PAIRS: Xehnon GRUDGES----: Adonis, Kraad PERSONALITY: Charismatic, Foolhardy, Inspirational, Spontaneous RARITY-----: 70% chance of materialization
 Circe, Rasheeka, and Fraudir
Circe
Spoiler: click to toggle Hailing from the mines in the northwestern region of the continent, Circe was both a warrior and a legendary swordsmith. She used the Secret Law of Principles in her craft, and it was said her swords could cut through the hardest of rock, and her armour could repel even the sharpest of arrows. She was one of the founders of Villnore alongside her husband Kraad, but died in battle at the age of 24 before she could pass on her knowledge of the Secret Law.
Circe crafted the Kraadicator and the Kraadmail for her husband. Upon meeting Alicia again after being released, she sees that she is facing difficult battles and gives her the Kraadmail as a gift. She states that, even in her new life, she remains the same, and that Kraad is the only person who can complete her, a testament to the strength of their bond. She believes that real happiness is finding someone who accepts you for what you are. She also enjoys the possibility of living in different time periods, seeing what has changed and evolved, and what has remained the same.
IDEAL PAIRS: Kraad GRUDGES----: Adonis, Ehlen PERSONALITY: Curious, Devoted, Infatuated, Talkative RARITY-----: 40% chance of materialization
Rasheeka
Spoiler: click to toggle Rasheeka was born in the desert town of Kalstad. She became one of the three heroes who protected the town from the spreading forces of the powerful kingdom of Crell Monferaigne, alongside her lover and best friend, Arcana. With her knowledge of the land, and by controlling the water supply, she managed to protect the town from the colossal Crell Monferaigne army. In 724 C.C., she witnessed Arcana's death during the Fourth Kalstad Invasion, only to receive a fatal wound herself and subsequently die in the arms of her lover. When the Crell Monferaigne army later heard of her demise, they immediately regretted missing the opportunity to take Kalstad.
Upon meeting Alicia again after being released, Rasheeka will welcome her to Kalstad, despite the town's impoverished state. She says that it has changed a lot since her time - some of the water holes have notably disappeared with the advance of the desert - but she can still see traces of its past and vows to stay there until the end, because of the fond memories she has. She also mentions that she went to visit her lover's grave in the desert. She explains that she had never felt the need to pay respects to the dead in the past, but she now realizes that it is pleasant to know someone cares about you even after your death and hopes that her lover feels the same. She also figures out that the water holes have dried out because the energies of Yggdrasil have changed their course and suggests rebuilding a town half a day's walk away from Kalstad's current location.
IDEAL PAIRS: Arcana GRUDGES----: <none> PERSONALITY: Independent, Motherly, Straightforward, Street-smart RARITY-----: 20% chance of materialization
Fraudir
Spoiler: click to toggle A Captain of the Knights of the White Lily, the personal guard of Count Leon, who was the younger sibling of the King of Arkdain, a kingdom that once existed in the continent's northwest. Fraudir succeeded Richelle at this post, when the latter was reported missing in the Gorhla region, while returning from the War of Camille Hill in 577 C.C. A year later, Fraudir accompanied the Count in revolting against the King and his corrupt ways. This civil strife was orchestrated by Khanon, the leader of the Gorhla cult, and presumed murderer of both Richelle and her comrade-in-arms Roland, captain of the King's Knights of the Bloodsword. In the civil war known as the Arkdain Uprising that raged until 581 C.C., Fraudir fought as Count Leon's right-hand guard. After invading central Arkdain, she faced Aaron, Roland's successor and her childhood friend, in a duel. Seeing that Count Leon was guaranteed victory, she sheathed her sword in the middle of the fight, refusing to inflict more pain on her friend. However, she died with a content look on her face, knowing the Count had succeeded in achieving his goal.
Fraudir is a dutiful and respectful soldier. She is deeply grateful to Silmeria for choosing her and expresses a wish to help Alicia, even after having been released.
IDEAL PAIRS: Aaron, Richelle, Roland GRUDGES----: Khanon PERSONALITY: Fierce, Honorable, Just, Loyal RARITY-----: 40% chance of materialization
 Crescent and Lwyn
Crescent
Spoiler: click to toggle An aristocrat from Gerabellum. Crescent was only ten years old when the neighbouring city suddenly attacked in 572 C.C. She managed to escape with the help of a mercenary called Ehlen. This sudden attack triggered the War of Camille Hill, which lasted four years. After the war, Crescent returned home, only to find her stepmother holding reign over her father's land. Realizing that the attack on the city was orchestrated by her stepmother, who used her as a bargaining chip for political purposes, Crescent exacted revenge. Afterwards, she travelled the world with Ehlen, whom she came to see as a surrogate father figure. In 580 C.C., they both enlisted with the Rosetta Dynasty, alongside Ehrde, Adonis and, later, Celes, under the command of Xehnon. Crescent was appointed Meridian General of the Knights of the Sun, Rosetta's royal guard. In 581 C.C., she participated in the Year-Long War. Both her and Ehlen volunteered to come to Ehrde's aid at the Battle of Artolia Pass, an ambush orchestrated by Queen Phyress of Dipan and led by Farant. After the battle, Ehlen died while protecting Crescent from an unexpected attack by the Undead. But she disappeared, never to be heard from again. Her body was never found.
Crescent is very dependent on Ehlen. She followed him in everything he did, including joining Xehnon's cause; this, as well as her noble birth, were a source of mockery for her fellow general Adonis. She used to believe that she was the most unhappy person in the world, but, after being released, she realized that everything that happened to her happened for a reason, allowing her to meet people that mattered to her and made a difference in her life.
IDEAL PAIRS: Adonis, Celes, Ehlen, Ehrde, Xehnon GRUDGES----: Farant, Phyress PERSONALITY: Dependent, Eccentric, Superstitious, Wary RARITY-----: 60% chance of materialization
Lwyn
Spoiler: click to toggle A member of Truth, a band of treasure hunters spanning the entire continent. A treasure hunter through and through, Lwyn travelled with her father from a young age, slaying numerous monsters and discovering countless relics and ruins. She was last heard from in 346 C.C., in the desert region to the south of Artolia Pass. She disappeared soon after reporting to Truth Headquarters regarding her discovery of an ancient dynasty's royal tomb (possibly the Tombs of Amenti).
Lwyn has a cheerful and upbeat personality. She seems to believe that the rest of Silmeria's Einherjar are an odd assortment. Upon meeting Alicia again after being released she jokes with her and encourages her for the journey ahead. She remarks that Valhalla does not seem to be a very pleasant place and wonders who first said that it was. She also believes that Alicia is too kind for her own good, telling her that what happens in the heavens is none of her business, and that she should let those responsible sort things out themselves.
IDEAL PAIRS: Arngrim, Leone GRUDGES----: Dylan PERSONALITY: Confrontational, Curious, Intuitive, Rebellious, Selfish RARITY-----: 40% chance of materialization

 Roland and Kraad
Roland
Spoiler: click to toggle Captain of the Knights of the Bloodsword, crown defenders of the Arkdain Kingdom that once spanned the continent's northwest. Roland was one of Camille's renowned Seventeen Commanders in the War of Camille Hill and was later dubbed "Roland of the Thundercry". In 574 C.C., by order of the king of Arkdain, Roland fought in the War of Camille Hill alongside Richelle, Captain of the Knights of the White Lily, personal guard of the king's brother. Roland's unparalleled strategic command saved a defensive line from the brink of collapse and drove the enemy back into the mountains. He commanded the frontline patrols for two years following the war and was eventually ordered home in 577 C.C. However, he went missing and was last reported seen in the Gorhla region.
Roland and Richelle were, in fact, murdered by Khanon, lord of Gorhla. They were succeeded in their respective positions by Aaron and Fraudir. Roland strongly believes that Midgard needs a powerful leader to see it through the chaotic times it's undergoing and repeatedly tries to persuade Alicia to take up this role after being released.
IDEAL PAIRS: Aaron, Fraudir, Richelle GRUDGES----: Khanon PERSONALITY: Boyish, Chivalrous, Courageous, Effete RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Kraad
Spoiler: click to toggle Hailing from a remote village in the North of the continent, Kraad was one of the original founders of Villnore. Legend says his sword arm sliced enemies armour and all, while his steel-like body could repel speeding arrows. It is also said that Villnore's first king gave Kraad his own sword and armour after gazing upon his battered arms, as repeated battles during the founding of the city had taken their toll. Three years after the country was founded, Kraad was struck by a poisoned arrow while putting down a rebellion led by Tyrith, which ultimately led to his death.
Kraad was married to Circe, a legendary swordsmith, who created the Kraadicator and Kraadmail for him. After giving Alicia the Kraadicator as a present for releasing him, he is notably worried about Circe's reaction. He also believes that humans need to prove their worth to the gods in order to make them stop seeing them as inferior beings and exploiting them. On that note, he feels it is important for him to keep up his training.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alicia, Circe GRUDGES----: Freya, Tyrith PERSONALITY: Crude, Loyal, Stubborn, Workhorse RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
 Dyn, Aaron, and Zunde
Dyn
Spoiler: click to toggle Dyn was a warrior priest from Dipan, son of commander Guilm and Sylphide, Queen Phyress' attendant. His father saved his mother's life by using the ritual of Soul Transfer. When Sylphide was killed by the Undead during the Mist of Niflheim, which began in 599 C.C., Dyn vowed to avenge her. He set out to find and seal the gate to the Underworld, joining forces with Seluvia and Chrystie along the way. When they finally located the gate, Dyn got trapped on the other side and was tortured to death by Hel, Queen of Niflheim. Seluvia and Chrystie were unable to help him, but they proceeded to sing praises of their friend's courage everywhere they went.
Dyn is deeply grateful to Silmeria for having saved him from the torments of Hel. He believes that gods and humans are not all that different: there is good and evil, truth and deceit among both. He also sees Midgard as a harvesting-place for both Asgard and Niflheim: the former takes the best, the latter the rest. He would like to protect it from this fate without choosing sides. Nevertheless, he believes that both Asgard and Niflheim are necessary to the good functioning of the world: they give humans a purpose to strive for and an example to avoid. Without them, human souls would simply transmigrate indefinitely, and the world would stagnate.
IDEAL PAIRS: Guilm, Phyress, Seluvia, Sylphide GRUDGES----: Chrystie, Hel, Hrist PERSONALITY: Attractive, Honorable, Poetic, Quiet, Stoic RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Aaron
Spoiler: click to toggle A captain of the Knights of the Bloodsword, crown defenders of the Arkdain Kingdom that once spanned the continent's northwest. His predecessor to the post was Roland, who was murdered in 577 C.C. after the War of Camille Hill, along with Richelle, captain of the Knights of the White Lily, personal guard of the king of Arkdain's brother. Suspicions lay on Khanon, lord of Gorhla, but there was no evidence, and Khanon thus managed to gain a great influence over the king of Arkdain. Even though he began to realize the error of the king's ways, Aaron was loyal to his duty as a knight. He fought against the Knights of the White Lily, led by his childhood friend Fraudir in the Arkdain Uprising, a civil war orchestrated by Khanon in his bid for power. In 581 C.C., he faced Fraudir in a duel, but she sheathed her sword in the middle of the fight, reluctant to inflict any more pain on her friend. After her death, Aaron, remorseful, refused treatment for his wounds and passed away quietly.
After being released, the hesitation Aaron shows upon asking for news of Fraudir may suggest that he had more than friendly feelings for her. He also seems to be quite humble and devoted to his duties, but finds it difficult to lead a relatively idle new life after the tumultuous events of his previous existence.
IDEAL PAIRS: Fraudir, Richelle, Roland GRUDGES----: Khanon PERSONALITY: Dutiful, Loyal, Notorious, Paranoid RARITY-----: 30% chance of materialization
Zunde
Spoiler: click to toggle An adventurer from Quiryl, a small town near Loahm Hill. Zunde became famous for discovering the legendary sword Grand Sting in an old shrine he passed on his journeys. One day, as he and his friends travelled through Camille Hill, he received a request to slay some monsters in the area. He set out full of confidence, never to be heard from again.
Zunde is extremely optimistic and energetic. After being released, he finds himself the centre of attention in his new hometown. The villagers consider him as the de facto protector of the town and task him with slaying various monsters in the area, just like in his former life. Nevertheless, he is diligent about his duties and willing to help Silmeria again, if he can only find the time. He also urges Alicia to make the most of every day of her life.
IDEAL PAIRS: Arngrim, Dylan, Lenneth GRUDGES----: Aegis, Alm, Farant, Lezard, Masato, Mithra, Psoron, Woltar, Xehnon PERSONALITY: Bad Boy, Boastful, Egotistical, Energetic, Manly RARITY-----: 20% chance of materialization
 Falx and Adonis
Falx
Spoiler: click to toggle An adventurer from the outskirts of Gerabellum. Blaming the Undead for the death of his parents, Falx spent his entire life seeking vengeance by defeating Brahms, the Lord of the Undead. Falx not only excelled in wielding a sword, but also used his knowledge of contraptions and sorcery to his advantage in battles. However, after his extraordinary fighting skills finally caught Brahms' eye, he promptly lost his life.
Upon meeting Alicia again after being freed, Falx will urge her to use her free time to practice, since he is no longer there to help her. He also warns her to watch out for the traps he has set for the Undead; they are harmless to humans, but he does not want to have to reset them. He also realizes that he is no match for Brahms. However, he believes that humans and Undead are destined to fight each other until one or the other perishes, just like it is natural for all conflicting creatures to fight, and swears that he will stand by humanity.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alicia, Dylan, Freya, Hrist, Lenneth, Silmeria GRUDGES----: Brahms, Zunde PERSONALITY: Charismatic, Flirtatious, Lady's Man, Narcissitic, Scatterbrained, Vain RARITY-----: 40% chance of materialization
Adonis
Spoiler: click to toggle Formerly a stray mercenary, Adonis participated in the War of Camille Hill, where he became one of the Seventeen Commanders of Camille and earned the nickname "Black Blade Adonis". He often did not fight for a particular side, striking deals with the troops of whatever area he happened to be in. It is said that he once destroyed troops he sided with just two days prior. People regarded him as one of the strongest warriors of the time. After the War of Camille Hill, he sided with the Rosetta Dynasty, under the leadership of Xehnon. He led the Eclipse Troop of the Knights of the Sun, alongside the three other generals, Ehrde, Crescent and Ehlen. He accompanied Ehrde during the Lassen Invasion, aimed at kidnapping Warrior Princess Celes, another one of the Seventeen Commanders. After a fierce duel, he was beheaded by her.
Adonis is a firm believer in the "kill or be killed" credo. Cold-blooded, he does not think twice before claiming a life if it means keeping his own, or if he believes that his opponent is the source of a problem, regardless of pleading and begging. He tells Alicia not to feel guilty, because none of what is happening is her fault. He believes that she fights for revenge and thinks it is a valid motivator, urging her to be more ruthless.
IDEAL PAIRS: Crescent, Ehlen, Ehrde, Xehnon GRUDGES----: Celes, Circe, Tyrith PERSONALITY: Cold-Blooded, Cruel, Mercenary, Ruthless, Vengeful RARITY-----: 60% chance of materialization
 Gerald, Guilm, and Ehlen
Gerald
Spoiler: click to toggle A warrior from Nethov, a town vital to the Principality of Paltierre, a power that once ruled in the northeast of the continent. Gerald's mother, Jessica, was rejected by her fiancé before her marriage, because her father lost all her family's money. Becoming an adventurer to survive, Jessica unwittingly released a fearsome dragon from a gem that she found in some ruins in 468 C.C and was killed by it. Gerald was one of the many who later volunteered to slay the dragon. He and 99 other volunteers charged into the dragon's den, ready for a fight. As his sword plunged into the dragon's chest, a fountain of poisonous blood spurted from the wound, killing not only the soldiers in the area, but all living creatures in the Nethov region. This was how Nethov Swamp came to be, and the Dragon Zombie that Lenneth encounters there in Valkyrie Profile is probably the very same dragon that Gerald faced.
Gerald believes that he is destined to be a fighter, as he has no other skills, and practices to keep his abilities sharp, even in his new life. He explains that he became a warrior to restore Jessica's honour. He also reveals that Jessica did not actually release the dragon that killed her: it was unbound by Odin as part of a plan to destroy Nethov. Gerald knows that Odin is the source of most of the disasters which occur on Midgard and sympathizes with Silmeria's efforts to oppose him. He also senses something different about the monsters in his region and wonders whether it is an omen of change.
IDEAL PAIRS: Jessica, Silmeria GRUDGES----: Odin PERSONALITY: Avenging, Chivalrous, Fearless, Honorable, Sometimes Silly RARITY-----: 20% chance of materialization
Guilm
Spoiler: click to toggle Guilm was a general of Dipan and participated in the War of Camille Hill to aid Princess Celes. He was considered as one of the Seventeen Commanders of Camille and was given the nickname "Baron Blade Guilm". After the war, he resigned from his position as general and served his country as a mere soldier, travelling alongside Queen Phyress and her attendant Sylphide, whom he fell in love with. They participated in many battles together. In 581 C.C., during the Battle of Rosetta near the end of the Year-Long War, Sylphide, then pregnant with Guilm's son, Dyn, was killed. Using the ritual of Soul Transfer, he laid down his life to recover hers.
Guilm is genuinely devoted to his country. Having served both Celes and Phyress, he considers his encounter with Alicia as a sign that his fate is inextricably bound to the royal line of Dipan. After being released, he decides to dedicate his new life to protecting people. Nevertheless, he believes that choosing a path in life does not mean being inexorably tied to it, as long as one does not stray too far away.
IDEAL PAIRS: Celes, Dyn, Phyress, Sylphide GRUDGES----: <none> PERSONALITY: Aloof, Archaic Speech, Devoted, Sacrificial RARITY-----: 60% chance of materialization
Ehlen
Spoiler: click to toggle Originally a mercenary, Ehlen came to the rescue of Crescent, a young girl who was used as a bargaining chip in the invasion of Gerabellum, which initiated the War of Camille Hill in 572 C.C. Ehlen's name was often found at the top of the list of the Seventeen Commanders of Camille, which included only the mightiest warriors. He was a fighter who never gave up and had been through much in his lifetime. People looked at him with awe and fear. Thus he was given the nickname "Demigod Ehlen". He wandered the land after the war alongside Crescent, forming a fatherly bond with her. In 580 C.C., both of them joined the cause of the Rosetta Dynasty, under the leadership of Xehnon and alongside Adonis, Ehrde and, later, Warrior Princess Celes. Ehlen was appointed as Horizon General of the Knights of the Sun, the royal guard of Rosetta, and participated in the Year-Long War, which began in 581 C.C. He demonstrated his amazing fighting skills during the war as he held his own against the two major powers- Paltierre and Dipan. However, after the battle of Artolia Pass, an ambush on Ehrde's forces orchestrated by Queen Phyress and led by Farant, he died protecting Crescent from an unexpected attack by the Undead.
Ehlen seems preoccupied by the dichotomy between attempting to make a difference and possibly leading a solitary life as a consequence, and blending into the masses to avoid danger. Upon meeting Alicia again after being released, he explains that, although he never had children of his own, he sees Crescent as his own daughter, and the only family he has. He also appears anxious to have served Silmeria well.
IDEAL PAIRS: Adonis, Celes, Crescent, Ehlen, Ehrde, Xehnon GRUDGES----: Farant, Phyress PERSONALITY: Asexual, Humble, Tactical, Thoughtful, Understated RARITY-----: 30% chance of materialization

 Chrystie and Sha-Kon
Chrystie
Spoiler: click to toggle The only daughter of King Cyphel and Queen Phyress of Paltierre, a country which once existed in the northeast of the continent. She grew up alongside Seluvia, a war orphan whom Phyress had adopted. However, in 598 C.C., Seluvia left the kingdom, concerned that his existence might cause complications over the rights of succession. Chrystie eventually left to follow him, which angered Phyress' brother-in-law, Alm. It is hinted that Seluvia and Chrystie were lovers. During the three-year Mist of Niflheim, they travelled together, alongside Dyn, to seal and destroy the Undead. Closing the doors of Niflheim resulted in Dyn's death, as he got trapped on the other side. To honour their friend, Chrystie and Seluvia sang his praises the world over. However, they later both disappeared, never to be seen again.
Chrystie is a very impulsive girl with little consideration for the consequences of her actions, as demonstrated by her flight from home, and who makes no secret of her infatuation with Seluvia. When Alicia meets her again after releasing her, she is travelling the land. She is surprised at the amount of monsters around, given that she sealed so many alongside Seluvia. She believes that someone might even be setting them free: all the seals are broken, and, because Seluvia is the one who created them, she does not believe they could have simply worn off. She even goes so far to say that breaking the seals is like breaking their love. She will also demand that Alicia release him as well.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alm, Phyress, Seluvia GRUDGES----: Dyn, Farant, Phyress PERSONALITY: Blunt, Bossy, Impulsive, Loudmouth, Stubborn RARITY-----: 10% chance of materialization
Sha-Kon
Spoiler: click to toggle Sha-kon hails from a nameless island (presumably Hai-Lan) far to the southwest of the continent. Clever with her hands, she was the creator of mechanical dolls with various complex components. She travelled alone to the continent in hope of obtaining necromancy that enabled one to control a dead soul. Her desire was to fill her dolls with these souls, bringing them to life. After a long and painful journey, she succeeded in learning the spell. As a result of much experimentation, she managed to create a doll with a soul...Or so she thought. Her final creation merely used the soul as energy for mobility. It is possible that this doll is what claimed Sha-kon's life.
Sha-kon does not believe in a single truth or trying to find a meaning to one's life through past experiences. After being released, she expresses admiration for the technological advances that Midgard has witnessed since her death. She resumes her occupation of creating monsters and even offers Alicia to practice on them, even though she is otherwise reluctant of sharing them with other people, as she knows they are not perfect and considers having to explain how they work as a waste of her time.
IDEAL PAIRS: Lezard, Masato, Woltar GRUDGES----: Dyn PERSONALITY: Impatient, Infantile, Intelligent, Obsessive, Realistic RARITY-----: 90% chance of materialization
 Millidia and Lylia
Millidia
Spoiler: click to toggle Millidia lived a simple life in Gerabellum with her elder sister, Sophalla. However, when her sister caught the eye of a local lord and married, she was taken from rags to riches overnight. Unaccustomed to such luxury, she requested to remain in their old house, situated in a poor area of town. Shortly thereafter, she began to notice changes in her sister. Perhaps because Sophalla was not used to living in luxury, or maybe because she wanted to erase her past, she began showing disdain towards the poor. With the passing of her husband, Sophalla's attitude only became worse. She disowned Millidia and even went as far as to burn the area of town they once inhabited. The Thieves' Guild asked for Millidia's patronage and prompted her to switch places with her sister, in order to prevent further destruction. Once Millidia began governing the country, there was nothing but peace in Gerabellum. In 802 C.C., for some unknown reason, she set fire to the thieves' hideout and burned to death with half the Guild. The real cause of her death was covered up. The general public was told she died in a fire at the theatre.
In reality, Sophalla was a former assassin for the Thieves' Guild, and, when she married, both her and her husband began battling them, burning down the area of town they operated in. When the Guild killed her husband, Sophalla decided to disown Millidia to protect her identity. Unfortunately, the Guild found out about her and manipulated her into taking her sister's place. Sophalla was captured and sold into slavery. Millidia eventually discovered the truth: the fire at the Thieves' Guild was both her revenge and her atonement.
Millidia deeply regrets what happened to Sophalla and her husband, saying that she would give up her life to allow them another chance. She seems wistful of the time she spent with Silmeria and does not quite know what to do with her new life: she wants to make the world a better place, but she does not know how. The one thing she does know is that, if she wants to be able to look her sister in the face without shame, she must choose a path for herself, rather than let herself be manipulated.
IDEAL PAIRS: Sophalla GRUDGES----: Lwyn PERSONALITY: Charitable, Kindhearted, Principled, Sweet RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Lylia
Spoiler: click to toggle The daughter of a lord in Crell Monferaigne, Lylia was a holy child who received the blessings of Frei at birth. In 746 C.C., she was about to marry into the royal family, but ran out in the middle of the ceremony. Despite a thorough search for the new queen, she was nowhere to be found. Time passed, and people began to forget she ever existed. However, six years later in 752 C.C., mayhem broke out when she was spotted in the Salerno region. She returned to Crell Monferaigne, but in a fragile mental state. A while after her return, she threw herself from atop the castle walls in front of the king.
Lylia was thought to have been kidnapped by the alchemist Woltar. In reality, the two were lovers, and Lydia was born of their union. Lylia is an affectionate person, and her biggest regret is that she was not strong enough to live for her daughter's sake after Woltar's death. However, after being released, she decides to rebuild her new life in Crell Monferaigne: despite the painful memories, she now considers it as a home, rather than a den of monsters. She also reveals that her marriage to the king had been arranged by her parents.
IDEAL PAIRS: Freya, Lydia, Woltar GRUDGES----: Gerald PERSONALITY: Fascinated with fairy tales, Romantic, Sad, Suicidal, Tragic RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
 Phyress and Ehrde
Phyress
Spoiler: click to toggle A former queen of Dipan. Phyress participated in the Year-Long War which began in 581 C.C., with only two comrades, her attendant Sylphide and commander Guilm. Phyress was a heroine in the Battle of Paltierre, the Arkdain uprising, the Battle of Artolia Pass and the Battle of Rosetta. Were it not for her, the surrounding four powers would have been unable to completely contain Rosetta. During the Battle of Rosetta near the end of the Year-Long War, she fought her sister Celes, losing an arm in the process. As the war ended, she gave up the warrior life and adopted Seluvia, the sole survivor of a little village that got destroyed during the conflict. She married her childhood friend King Cyphel of Paltierre and bore him a daughter, Chrystie. Despite being disliked by Cyphel's brother, Alm, she supported her husband in governing the country, but in 622 C.C. she caught an endemic disease and passed away. Mourning his wife, Cyphel died five years later.
Phyress possessed the skill and knowledge of a great bowyer. She also compiled the writings of alchemy scattered throughout the continent to create the Tome of Truths. She also specifically asked Silmeria to be materialized as a girl of 17. After being released, she is surprised at the state Solde is in, saying that it is a lot worse than what she remembers. She asks Alicia what she intends to do, and reassures her that she will be fine, no matter what she chooses to do, since she is one of her relatives: if she does not achieve her goals in this life, she can always try again in the next one, but it is important that she chooses for herself. Phyress compares Odin's tenaciousness to her own in demanding a peace treaty. However, she also blames him for the peace eventually ending. She says that if humans had the gods' immortality, they could fight on equal terms, and that this is why some choose to become Undead.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alm, Chrystie, Guilm, Seluvia, Sylphide GRUDGES----: Celes, Khanon, Odin PERSONALITY: Noble, Pacifist, Pious, Reasonable, Wise RARITY-----: 90% chance of materialization
Ehrde
Spoiler: click to toggle Ehrde was appointed the Twilight General of the Knights of the Sun of the Rosetta Dynasty during the Year-Long War that began in 581 C.C. He served under the orders of Xehnon alongside Adonis, Ehlen and Crescent. It was he who captured the feared Warrior Princess Celes during the Lassen Invasion, after she claimed Adonis' life. He stayed in Lassen and fought against the Arkdain troops from the northeast of the continent. However, after Artolia Pass to the east was overtaken by Paltierre forces, acting in conjunction with a Lassen-based rebel group led by Farant, his troops became isolated. He called for backup from Crescent and Ehlen. All three fought valiantly, and Crescent defeated Farant. Unfortunately, this battle was a decoy planned by Queen Phyress. Paltierre and Arkdain's joint troops invaded Lassen and decimated the remainder of Ehrde's forces.
Ehrde not only achieved fame as a general, but also carried out many espionage missions for Rosetta. It is rumored that he was directly involved in the assassination of both the king of Arkdain and Khanon. He is also extremely critical of Silmeria: he believes that she has merely used his powers for her own ends, thus making her no different from any other god in his eyes. After being released, he notably reminds her that being a goddess does not mean that people will happily serve her.
IDEAL PAIRS: Adonis, Crescent, Ehlen, Xehnon GRUDGES----: Celes, Farant, Khanon, Phyress, Silmeria PERSONALITY: Clever, Critical, Girlish Boy, Insolent, Sarcastic RARITY-----: 10% chance of materialization
 Arcana and Sophalla
Arcana
Spoiler: click to toggle Raised in the desert town of Kalstad, Arcana was one of the three legendary heroes who saved the town from an invasion by Crell Monferaigne. Her superior knowledge of weather patterns allowed her to avert certain bloodshed during the disadvantageous rainy season by keeping the Crell Monferaigne troops at bay. In 724 C.C. during the Fourth Kalstad Invasion, she suffered a deep wound and died in the arms of her lover and best friend, Rasheeka. Her death came at a young age, and it is said that even the Crell Monferaigne battalion mourned her due to her prowess in archery.
Arcana is an optimist. She knows that her homeland is doomed to destruction by the desert and accepts it as the natural course of things, but she also has hope that its traditions will thrive while its people still live. She also believes that the land may, in time, recover, and vegetation return to the desert, as Alicia has managed to restore stability to Midgard. She also wonders why her friends were not chosen as Einherjar, stating that, no matter how hard you try, you sometimes do not get what you deserve.
IDEAL PAIRS: Rasheeka GRUDGES----: Celes, Farant, Khanon, Phyress, Silmeria PERSONALITY: Cute, Optimistic, Playful, Pleasant, Seductive RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Sophalla
Spoiler: click to toggle Sophalla grew up in a poor neighbourhood of Gerabellum with her sister Millidia. She was originally trained as an assassin within the Thieves' Guild, but caught the eye of a local lord and married into the nobility, changing her life overnight. Her sister wasn't able to get used to luxury and remained living in the poor area of town they originally came from. Later on, Sophalla started receiving threatening letters from the Guild. After coming clean about her past to her husband, she asked for his help to devise a plan to destroy the Guild by setting fire to the sector of town it operated from. None of this was explained to Millidia in order to protect her, and she believed Sophalla's actions were all due to a hatred of her modest origins. In 790 C.C., Sophalla's husband was assassinated by a member of the Guild, leading Sophalla to disown Millidia in an attempt to further protect her sister. The Guild subsequently proceeded to recruit Millidia, persuading her to take her sister's place and allow the common people to lead more peaceful lives. Sophalla was kidnapped in 792 C.C. by the Guild, which crushed her throat and sold her into slavery. She died shortly thereafter. When Millidia eventually discovered this, she exacted her revenge by setting fire to the Thieves' Guild, burning along with them as a self-inflicted penitence.
Sophalla says that she was raised and trained by the Guild from a young age, and that she did not fear death because of the harshness of the training. She reveals that her husband was actually one of her targets, but she fell in love with him and left the Guild. They shared a strong bond, and she thought she had successfully escaped the Guild, because no one knew her real identity, and thus nobody could betray her. However, that does not seem to have been enough. She also states that she does not know how or where she died. Since she mentions waking up in a windowless cell, it must have happened while she was still in the hands of the slavers, having no notion of time or place because she had no means to see outside her cell.
IDEAL PAIRS: Millidia GRUDGES----: Lwyn PERSONALITY: Clever, Folksy, Sneaky, Superstitious, Theif-like RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
 Lydia and Atrasia
Lydia
Spoiler: click to toggle The daughter of Queen Lylia of Crell Monferaigne. Lydia suffered shame and disdain, as she was not the legitimate daughter of the king. To find her purpose in life, she trained hard and demonstrated great skill on the battlefield from a young age. However, her younger brother-in-law, Prince Cain, was jealous of her skills as a warrior and hired a group of thieves to kill her. Although she died at a young age, her prowess as an archer was legendary. It is said that during one battle, she was able to save an ally by disarming an enemy one hundred meters away.
Lydia's father was Woltar, an alchemist from the Salerno region. Her mother eloped with him on the day of her intended wedding to the king of Crell Monferaigne. When the pair was discovered six years later, Woltar was killed, and both Lydia and Lylia were brought back to Crell Monferaigne. Unable to deal with her grief, Lylia flung herself from the castle walls a month after her return. Lydia considered this as selfishness on her mother's part and was never able to forgive her. She also came to realize that, despite her best efforts to prove her worth and make her kinsmen forget her origins, she only exacerbated their dislike for her. As a result, she has grown used to loneliness: the companionship of Silmeria and the other Einherjar was an important experience for her.
IDEAL PAIRS: Rufus, Silmeria, Woltar GRUDGES----: Lylia PERSONALITY: Formal, Melancholic, Submissive, Tragic RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Atrasia
Spoiler: click to toggle A member of the Tehm, a small tribe from the north of the continent which excelled in the ability to handle horses. They rode as fast as the wind and flew over mountains like birds. Tehm tribal custom called for a Protector, one who was sacrificed for the blessings of the gods. However, Atrasia, the Protector of the time, broke the laws of purity by bearing a child. Without a Protector, the tribe was attacked by a group of Undead and wiped out. Atrasia managed to escape to a nearby town with her child, but died of exhaustion and physical injuries.
Atrasia explains that the destruction of her tribe was not actually the work of the Undead. The Tehm were protected by the gods in exchange for becoming Einherjar when they died. However, Atrasia was thoroughly opposed to the idea of gods using humans for their own ends, and attempted to trade her unborn child's life to enter Niflheim, possibly as a sign of protest. This angered the gods. They destroyed the Tehm, but allowed Atrasia's child to live, for which she is thankful. Nevertheless, she deems the gods more cruel than the Undead, comparing their need to use humans for their own ends to a monster's need for violence and saying that they slaughter everyone who opposes them indiscriminately, while the Undead only target individual souls. She thinks that relying on the gods is a sign of weakness and says that they will only coexist with humans as long as it has benefits for them. To her, the attack on Dipan is a warning: the gods demonstrating their power to those who disobey them.
IDEAL PAIRS: Sha-Kon GRUDGES----: Brahms, Freya, Odin PERSONALITY: Comedic, Cheerful, Girlish, Perky, Rebellious RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization

 Alm and Woltar
Alm
Spoiler: click to toggle The second prince of the Principality of Paltierre, which once ruled in the northeastern region of the continent, and brother of future King Cyphel. Alm was the son of Dragon Scale Sigmund, one of the Seventeen Commanders of Camille. His eyes were like his father's - similar to those of a dragon. He was renowned for his vast knowledge of magic. When his brother and father left for the mainland in 581 C.C. for the Year-Long War, he stayed to keep the country in order. During the Mist of Niflheim that began in 599 C.C., he commanded a regiment and fought off the Undead invading the country. In one of the ensuing battles, he was attacked and killed by the Dragon King of the Underworld, thus signing the end of Paltierre, as he was its last remaining heir.
Alm always felt second best. He did not think very highly of his brother Cyphel or of his wife, Phyress. When Chrystie was born, his dislike for her parents also transferred to her, especially after she abandoned her family to follow Seluvia. He knew that his father and brother were more popular than him and felt very disappointed that they got the honours of battle instead of him during the Year-Long War, because he felt that he was more capable than them. He thus saw the Mist of Niflheim as his best chance to prove his valour. He banished as many Undead as he could, sometimes even going so far as to summon them himself in order to improve his score. He thus earned himself a place as an Einherjar and feels very proud of this. However, he regrets that he could not prevent the downfall of his country. He is notably very bitter that this allowed Dipan to gain power and wonders what his efforts were for.
IDEAL PAIRS: Brahms GRUDGES----: Chrystie, Phyress, Seluvia, Zunde PERSONALITY: Bitter, Hotheaded, Pompous, Sharp, Vain RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
Woltar
Spoiler: click to toggle An alchemist who is believed to have kidnapped Lylia, the Queen of Crell Monferaigne in 746 C.C. Hiding out in the hinterland of Salerno, Woltar was rumoured to have spent his days and nights engrossed in horrifying experiments, an exaggeration born from fear of his secrecy. However, in 752 C.C. he was found and executed by officers from Crell Monferaigne. A month after the queen was rescued from her prison, she took her own life by throwing herself from atop the castle wall.
Unbeknownst to all, Woltar and Lylia were actually lovers. She eloped with him and killed herself in grief over his death, leaving behind their daughter, Lydia. In contrast to his formidable reputation, Woltar appears as a calm, caring and reasonable man, displaying affection towards both his daughter and his paramour. After being released, he declares himself unfit for combat, perceiving himself more as a researcher than a fighter. He also expresses a wish to live his new life away from public attention, possibly because that is what caused so much grief in his previous life.
IDEAL PAIRS: Lydia, Lylia, Sha-Kon GRUDGES----: Adonis, Ehlen, Zunde PERSONALITY: Calm, Caring, Masculine (will be pestered about his pink clothes), Reasonable, Scholarly RARITY-----: 50% chance of materialization
 Farant and Psoron
Farant
Spoiler: click to toggle Farant hailed from Lassen, a town in the southwest of the continent. He created an organization which consisted of the remaining soldiers from the troops that participated in the Year-Long War of 581 C.C. The organization was formed to resist any powers that might try to assume control over Lassen. His troops used guerilla tactics and were victorious with only 100 soldiers against an army of 5,000. Even the generals of the Rosetta Dynasty, which ruled over Lassen, feared Farant's power and asked for reinforcements to help with this matter. During the Battle of Artolia Pass, near the end of the Year-Long War, he commanded a feint operation against the troops of Ehrde, Rosetta's Twilight General, at the request of Queen Phyress of Dipan. Although the plan was a success, he was killed by Crescent, the Meridian General. He died without ever seeing Lassen liberated.
Farant is fascinated by the complex relationship between body, soul and spirit, as well as the cycle of rebirth. He willingly waxes philosophical about these topics when he meets Alicia again after being released.
IDEAL PAIRS: Hrist, Lenneth, Phyress, Silmeria GRUDGES----: Crescent, Ehrde, Zunde PERSONALITY: Intelligent, Philosophical, Tactical, Spiritual RARITY-----: 60% chance of materialization
Psoron
Spoiler: click to toggle A genius sorcerer from the Principality of Paltierre, which once existed in the northeast of the continent. Psoron created Fire Storm, the most widely used offensive magic spell, and Guard Reinforce, one of the most basic defensive magic spells. He was the court sorcerer for the king of Paltierre. After creating these two magic spells to fight the Undead, he disappeared. More than half the magic spells in existence would not have been, were it not for the creation of Psoron's two basic spells.
Psoron is wholly focussed on his research and appalled by the fact that no significant progress seems to have been made since his time. He is therefore eager to resume his research, since no one else seems fit to do it. However, he also realizes that the theories underlying his spells were correct and is happy to have been reborn to witness this. He also states that, as one lifetime is too short to attain any significant amount of knowledge, he can understand why some would wish to become Undead. Since humans have discovered the way to become Undead, he also believes there must be a way to become a god. He also feels that a human would not be able to bear the burden of eternal life: the gods and the Undead have means to stop time and thus, both bodily and psychological decay, while humans would not be able to prevent it.
IDEAL PAIRS: Brahms, Lezard, Woltar GRUDGES----: Ehrde, Roland, Zunde PERSONALITY: Boyish, Easily-Amused, Genius, Philosophical, Scientific RARITY-----: 40% chance of materialization
 Masato and Xehnon
Masato
Spoiler: click to toggle Masato hailed from a nameless island far to the southwest of the continent (presumably Hai-Lan). Not only did he excel at magic, but he was also able to perform the secret art of inscribing runes to create barriers. He devised a plan to assassinate the tyrant who ruled his country at the time, but was betrayed by a woman, his best friend Sha-Kon. He crossed the ocean to flee from his pursuers. After reaching the continent, he lived a peaceful life, while chasing away the Undead who attacked villages. However, his body began to wither as a repercussion of a failed spell. He eventually died, his body reduced to a mere skeleton.
Masato is acutely aware of his exile. After being released, all he wants is to find a place to call home, since he cannot return to his real homeland. He also finds that there is nothing for him to do and wonders whether it would not have been better for him to stay an Einherjar. Moreover, his friend's betrayal is still a painful memory for him, and he warns Alicia against trusting people too readily.
IDEAL PAIRS: Alicia GRUDGES----: Sha-Kon, Zunde PERSONALITY: Distrustful, Isolationist, Schizophrenic (thinks he hears his own Einherjar) RARITY-----: 10% chance of materialization
Xehnon
Spoiler: click to toggle Xehnon was a servant of the Rosetta Dynasty, which once existed in the south of the continent in 578 C.C. He accidentally got a hold of a divine book, the Manuscript of Manifestation, and became possessed by its strong, godly powers. Under its spell, he managed to become the court sorcerer to get close to the king of Rosetta. Eventually, he was able to persuade the king to invade the rest of the continent. Ehrde, Adonis, Crescent and Ehlen all served as generals under him. He is responsible for ordering the execution of Khanon and the kidnapping of Warrior Princess Celes, even if she willingly joined his cause later. Xehnon was possessed for three and a half years, until the book was burned by Queen Phyress of Dipan. Once freed, he began searching the lands for a means to rectify the state the world was in, but in 586 C.C., he was attacked and killed by a group of rioters.
Xehnon is deeply grateful to Silmeria for having chosen him, as well as to all his former allies for believing in his cause, but also deeply repentant of his actions, despite the fact that he had little actual control over them. He says that the only way for him to repay for his sins is to rid Midgard of monsters. Moreover, he sees a parallel between his possession by the Manuscript of Manifestation and Alicia's fate: however involuntary their involvement in the turmoil of their times may have been, their actions have had dramatic consequences. However, he also believes that Odin will never destroy Midgard, despite the chaos that he is causing. He compares the situation to a farmer being unwilling to burn his crops before harvesting them. According to him, Hrist's attack on Dipan was only a warning, not a foreshadowing.
IDEAL PAIRS: Adonis, Crescent, Ehlen, Ehrde, Phyress GRUDGES----: Celes, Khanon, Zunde PERSONALITY: Charismatic, Emotional, Intelligent, Repentant, Trustful RARITY-----: 90% chance of materialization

Welp those are my choices! 8D Though I noticed for Lylia/Millia their descriptions weren't there, Sha-Kon's carried over. This is a really awesome idea Tonberry and was a ton of fun! ( I really need to play this game ugh )
Edit: Love the graphics too! 8D

Thank you, Haruhost and Shudo Ranmaru, for both voting! I'm glad that you were able to find the time to read them over and post your favorites. And thanks about the graphics! They were certainly a labor to make.

First and foremost you have far too much time on your hands. Even if you copy and pasted this information there are still the progress bars, graphics, and fantastic organization. Still very impressed with the cleanliness and like the idea. I cast my vote:
Jessica Celes Rasheeka Lwyn Kraad Aaron Falx Guilm Chrystie Lylia Ehrde Arcana Lydia Woltar <-- Honestly only because I wanna see him pestered about the pink Psoron Masato
